With 3 full bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this home comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. A king in the master bedroom, and two queens, a twin, and a sleeper sofa are all available to ensure even large groups get a good night's rest.

The living area features large windows, looking out onto a deck, and beyond, the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Visiting during the warm weather? Get ready for the best time of the year to visit us. Ocean City is also a great spot for bird watching. The Pacific Northwest offers great spots for bird watchers.

Ocean Shores is also just a short drive away. You can rent a moped or bike and take a ride into town, where you'll find the main drag. Here you'll find locally hand-crafted meals served in the town's restaurants, as well as boutiques filled with souvenirs to take home!

By The Sea, By The Sea is the only full-stack vacation rental management company in the area. We vow to make booking with us simple and exciting. While others know their way around it, we know that booking a rental property home for your vacation can be unfamiliar territory for some. Because we know this, we ensure that each of our properties is up to high-quality standards.

We do our absolute best to provide support to our guests when booking.

We are available to assist you every day of the year if you have any questions or concerns before, during or after your visit to our home. We have onsite property management available 24/7 for anything concerning that may arise.

MANAGED: This managed property needs good guest behavior and adherence to instructions, rules, terms, conditions, and requires online registration, accidental damage protection, and electronic signature before final booking confirmation, or you may cancel before proceeding at that time. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. IF dogs area allowed, there is a quantity and weight limit, with a per-day, per-dog fee. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording depending on staffing. There may be interior decibel meters to report excessive noise. To allow enough time for full cleaning, check-In time is 5pm and Check-Out is 11am. Bookings over 29 days are with Prospera Property Management.

Great location

Pet hair nightmare / Broken rundown disappointment
Needs a good deep clean. There was pet hair everywhere. The deck furniture was broken and unsafe. We had to leave early because one of our family members had an allergic reaction to all the pet dander. There was also garbade left in the trash cans upon our arrival. We took pictures of all of the issues.

Needs Improvement, but beautiful location
I will preface this review by saying the good outweighs the bad for this house. The location for the beach but also being close enough to Quinalt and Ruby Beach was perfect! There is a small walk to the beach (please management take 20 mins and trim the trail). The beach is beautiful! Its not crowded and we were able to see tons of crabs and a starfish! The sand dollars are plentiful. The upstairs living room is BEAUTIFUL! The couches are super comfortable as well as the beds! There are heated lights in both bathrooms and a wonderful bidet upstairs. Plenty of room to relax. Sitting on the porch is so tranquil, quiet, and peaceful. It doesn't seem like this is a tourist area which we loved! For the bad. Most of the things I am going to mention could be fixed pretty cheap. This isnt a luxury house, but you aren't paying luxury prices. It seems to be on par with the houses around it. The road to Ocean Stores was closed for the week we were there. This should have been notified to us because this made the nearest large grocery store 30 minutes away instead of 10. There are two outlets in the basement bathroom that do not work. The TV downstairs was tiny, more like a comouter screen. The spigot outside doesnt turn off and instead of being fixed its just capped off. As mentioned in other reviews only 2 burners work on the stove. The patio furniture needs replaced. DO NOT SIT ON IT, IT IS A HAZARD.

Beautiful location, wonderful management,house could use some updates
We loved our stay and would stay again. The home does need some love. The back deck is a hazard and definitely needs to be refinished with parts redone. Don't lean on the rail! Boards are popping up and present a tripping hazard. The deck furniture was dilapidated so be prepared to bring your own. The beds were comfortable except the pull out couch, it was broken and even my teen complained of back pain after sleeping on it. All in all it's a great location and the house is what you would expect for a beach house, not luxury but had what we needed. The management was top notch and responded promptly. There was a bear that ripped into the garbage the last two days. I only mention this because I let my kids go down the paths to the beach by themselves but if I had known there was a bear in the area I would have been more cautious. Lovely place but needs some maintenance.

Beautiful Home, Great Location!
The house was very clean and offered everything you would need during your stay (shampoo, conditioner, towels, cutlery, small appliances, etc.). Comfortably slept 5 people and was walking distance to the beach through a trail out back. Would definitely stay here again!

4th of July with friends!
Comfortable and relaxing, very private with great 1/4 mile trail to the beach. Wonderful deck with distant view of ocean. Two living spaces upstairs and downstairs for the early risers. The house is outdated, but that didnt bother me. It was clean, though a few pesky pests (ants, and a few mouse droppings in cupboards). Overall a great place, i would stay here again. Oh, be sure to turn on WiFi calling, there isnt service here (Verizon). The house WiFi met our needs. Nice to be able to bring my dog, she loved the place too!!! Great trails and gravel roads in this gated community. Extremely quiet, even on the 4th of July!!

This space was wonderful for us to bring our adult kids and grandbaby/furbaby together. The spacious accommodations with seating to match. All the amenities to make us comfortable! We’ll be back.

She could use some love
Upon arrival, it was obvious that it wasn’t ran through for a touch up cleaning same date of arrival. We had a dead field mouse in the master tub and ants all over the kitchen counter. The bathrooms need serious updating, decks need to be painted, she just needs some love. It’s a cool place, we had a great time. If you put about 10k for some upgrades, it would be a more pleasurable stay for your future guests.

If you're looking for an unclean house in disrepair, look no further. Read all the negative reviews, as they are true. As soon as we got in, or socks we're collecting dog hair from the floor (as it had not been cleaned). The fireplace in the bottom floor did not work. Luckily, there is central heating. Also, the bottom floor TV does not have cable. Tons of dust and dog hair under furniture; no deep cleaning done. One of the towel bars in the downstairs bathroom is broken and the vent grate in the ceiling was not screwed in all the way. The shower hardware is also rusting. One of the swivel sofa chairs in the upstairs is tilted at an angle that makes it uncomfortable to sit in. The stove has only two actual burners; the other half is a grill, which didn't produce much heat at all. This made cooking for a large group difficult. Just the basic salt and pepper in the cabinet, so bring your own spices. The knife set was good though. The view is great from the large deck. Short 10-15 min walk to the beach. Make sure your trace your steps back to the house as the trail goes through some brush. You have access to the garage (one remote), which is a plus. I'm conclusion, great place if you just need a bed and beach access. Not so great place if you want cleanliness, working appliances, multiple cable and TV's.

Wonderful and private location. 6 adults, we enjoyed walks to the beach, view of the ocean and weather conditions. Convenient kitchen, dining table for games and plenty of seating for enjoying a movie together.

Making the best out of it
My family and I enjoyed our time together here, however there were lots of issues with the functionality of the home and it was not very clean. Our son had an allergic reaction the first evening there, the window seals and bathroom have mold and moss. The master shower is rusting, the curtains have pink mold. The master bath was in very very bad shape. The two burners on the stove would not work no matter what we did to remedy it, there’s tons of grease in the vent of the stove top. It was very cold in the basement, the heat doesn’t work, the wood stove would not light. The fan to move upstairs heat doesn’t work. There was a a ton of dust all over the house. We made the best of our stay and we appreciate having the time to get away but the home requires attention and updates.

Nice neighborhood, Good View, had trouble with upstairs slider door being hard to open, couple of bulbs out, comfy furniture, lots of utensils, clean fridge. Would definately stay again.

Overall, this fit the needs of our group well. Property was a short walk to the beach, had plenty of parking, was quiet, and was clean. Drawbacks were as follows: 1) Stove did not work. We had to call maintenance twice to fix the issue. While they were responsive in coming over, we were in the middle of a big dinner both nights when the burners stopped working. Dinner was delayed by nearly 2 hours, which was frustrating for kids. 2) No pull out couches as advertised. The couches were nice, but we needed them for sleeping and the listing said they were sleeper sofas. 3) The house wasnt well appointed. There were no cleaning cloths in the kitchen, there wasnt a good selection of family size dishes such as baking dishes, and no basic items such as plastic wrap.

The location and beach access were great. The property was somewhat run down. Most significantly, the listing says that there is a sleeper couch and a futon couch. The sleeper was broken and we did not find a futon. This created some difficulty for the children and the family as we planned for children to sleep in those locations. This was disappointing.

Not bad but...
The house was not clean at all. We had to clean the shower/tub before we used it. They were filthy. The grease trap on the stove was full of old smelly grease. We had to clean that up to get the smell out of the kitchen. The bed spreads were covered in black animal hair. None of us have black hair. Also, the beds smelled of Febreze. We really hope the sheets and bed covers were washed, but based on the amount of animal fur, I really doubt it. The floors were dusty and full of long light dog hair when we checked in. The house was in much better condition when we left, because we took a couple of hours cleaning the house before we departed. Check in was difficult, because the address on the property information sheet was in accurate. Checkout didn't go smoothly, because the instructions say to call to check out, but nobody answered. Other than that, it was decent enough, but for the price, I would have preferred spending more time enjoying the views and fresh air, rather than cleaning to make it tolerable.

Bad experience with house and service
My family and I arrived to this house ready to start our wonderful vacation. However, upon entry of the house, we were immediately overwhelmed with a strong smell of mustiness and some kind of urine. We went downstairs and the smell was even stronger so we felt that there was something in the carpet or something died under the house. The garage also had a window that was completely covered in flies. As we looked at the rest of the house, it became most apparent that this house wasn't clean. The bathrooms were dirty and had mold, there was residue in the bath/shower, the air vents were covered in dust and grime. We went out on the deck and we could see boards loose and a couple were bowed and coming up, it didn't seem very safe at all. When we experienced this, I call the host immediately and shared with him what we were experiencing. He sent a caretaker over to review our concerns. When she arrived, my wife showed her around the house and the caretaker thought that maybe something died under the house. She asked us if she wanted us to clean this and we were looking at each other and you can clean that smell. She then said that she would call the office and see what could be done. We waited at least an hour but didn't hear anything back. I called the host back to see if they talked with the caretaker and they said no. I shared with the host that we can't stay here. He said that there wasn't anything he could do till tomorrow. This is not right, no options. Very poor service.

Location not even close
We showed up for a celebration of life. On the map it showed this place located right across the street. When we got to the location could not find the place. We called and they sent us written driving instructions. It was 6-7min down the road. 100% this ruined the trip for the kids and everyone! They blame vrbo and vrbo says they place the location on the map. Its just BS!!! Seems to me that they list the home in that location so you rent with them because it shows on a beach access. Just look for the other home in the area when visiting ocean city. Also front door dose not lock, spider webs everywhere, back door very hard to open and neighbors are very rude. Place needs work
