A relaxing and rejuvenating island getaway on Anna Maria Island begins at Lazy Lagoon. You're sure to find island paradise right here! Lazy Lagoon is a single story pool home located 2 blocks from the sparkling clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Bring the boat! The home is on a canal and provides a 55' boat dock.

Step into beach and island calm and the living, kitchen, and dining space. Find a seat on the comfy couch in the living room and enjoy a nap, book, or movie on the wall-mounted flat screen TV. If you need a workspace, there is a nearby desk and chair where you can set up a laptop to keep in touch with friends and family. A few steps away from the living area is the kitchen. The cozy space features plenty of cupboards and drawers full of everything you'll need to prepare and serve a home-cooked meal. A door in the kitchen makes for easy access to the outside space. Enjoy the meal in the dining area with a table for eight and additional seating kitchen counter seating.

At the end of a long day of island adventure, retreat to a private bedroom. The master suite features a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom boasts a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom features a king bed and bedroom four includes a set of two twin beds. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom. . Each bedroom includes crisp linens and plush towels in the bathrooms from our professional linen service. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer.

The private heated pool highlights the backyard. Relax in a pool lounger and enjoy the island breezes of paradise. An outdoor shower allows you to rinse the sand from your suit before entering the pool. Enjoy a meal from the provided grill at the outdoor dining set for six. Just a few steps away is the private dock. Sit out and watch the world go by. You may also bring your own boat and use the 55' dock.

Lazy Lagoon is easy walking distance to Gulf Ave, restaurants, and the free island trolley, which travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches. The perfect location for your next beach vacation!

Amazing location and property!
I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids (5 & 3 years old) along with my sister, her husband and their 2 kids (12 & 10 years old) and it was absolutely perfect! The property was so clean and well maintained. The addition of the beach chairs, beach cart, towels, and toys that were available for us to use were also really amazing when going to the beach or staying at the pool for the day. Everything the house offered made our week (and first visit to Anna Maria!) that much more enjoyable and special. Everyone had such a great time and we're already planning our visit back next year! We ended up renting a golf cart, life jackets, skim board, and crib from Fun & More right down the street. We utilized Instacart for our food shopping which made things easier. I would definitely recommend this house!

Our Favorite House on AMI
We have stayed at several properties on AMI and this was our favorite. The house was exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the pool being on the same level as the house so we didn’t have to go up and down stairs for bathroom and drinks. The house is close to the beach and many attractions so it’s very walkable.

Simply the best!
This year was our third year back at Anna Maria and we couldn’t have been happier with this house! The pictures of the property are accurate but don’t do it justice. The home is very spacious, clean, up to date and relaxing. We’ll look to rent this property again for sure!

Second Stay As Nice As The First
We loved our week at the Lazy Lagoon. It’s a short walk to the beach- so short that our 3 year old granddaughter had no problem walking it. The house is clean, spacious, and comfortable. This house is perfect. It was so homey and comfortable and the great location! Cleaning crew needs to do a better job, house not dirty by any means but there were clothes left in the drawers and some light dusting was needed. The towels had some stains and I felt should not have been out for guest use but to make myself feel better I just threw them in the wash. I will absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time in ami and loved the location of this house. We used the dock for our boat and went out everyday for day and sunset cruises. The only thing we felt a bit confused about was the fact that a picture of the boat lift us shown in the photos, but the boat lift is not included in the rental. The house was very quaint and clean.

My son , his girlfriend and I stayed a week in this awesome home! Tons of space for us to all spread out- lovely decor- nice that the tv had Netflix etc so after a day in the sun we could watch movies- close to the north end of town, bakery’s, restaurants , shopping and bike rental. We loved it and were sad to leave but we will book again! Thanks for the hassle free vacation! Pool and hot tub were great too!

The overall house is excellent. Bedding is comfortable, it is clean. Plenty of seating. Kitchen is well equipped with pans etc, however you have to bring every supply. A bit unusual in short term rentals. There is a one extra trash bag that you are asked to place in the bin upon departure so you only get the one in the bin when you arrive. We found one extra roll of toilet paper. No salt, pepper, laundry detergent etc. These items are usually provided in short term rentals, not necessarily long term rentals. Just keep this in mind when flying in. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The outdoor is comfortable and setting is beautiful on the water. The slider and back door have to be closed within 10 or 15 seconds or an alarm goes off, per local law because of the pool, so you can’t have a door open. Wifi is strong. Location is quiet. Neighbors’ motion spotlight is extremely bright and shines into the master bedroom, light comes on every time the palm trees sway in the wind. So something to know if light sensitive. Bean bag game, table tennis and puzzles etc. We didn’t try the television. We would rent it again if we needed three bedrooms because it has excellent seating.

Overall this property was excellent! There were a few things that weren’t like trash bags. We had 2 young kids and really appreciate the door alarm system & removable gate for pool security. Great AMI home and location
We had a great vacation at Lazy Lagoon on AMI. The home was well configured for our family (2 adults, 3 teenagers, and a 9 year old) with space for everyone. It was well-equipped, clean, with great finishes throughout. The property managers were very responsive to the two items we called about (lightbulbs and.a loose paver at the entrance). We enjoyed spending time in the pool and exploring the canals and bays off the dock. For AMI the outside landscaping help keep bugs to a minimum which was great. One of our most enjoyable homes for vacation. We would stay here again.

This property was great! House was perfect size and layout for our group. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and appears recently updated with quality materials. Location was wonderful. A few more amenities would be nice additions (cooler, griddle, more plastic cups for kids, beach umbrella). Agree with previous comments that the beach chairs could use a refresh. Also the ice maker barely made ice, so we purchased ice daily, which we would have had to do anyway with the size of our group and how much ice we needed. Overall we loved our stay in this property and would highly recommend!!

There were four adults and four kids that stayed in this home. The home was exactly as described on Vrbo. It’s location to the beach is just a short walk. The home itself is beautifully decorated. The kitchen could have some more supplies to cook/eat with, the beach carts and chairs really need updated. The pool and hot tub are great! The view off the dock is perfect for opening coffee! Overall we loved our stay here and it’s location!

Perfect Family Vacation
This property was very clean, and beautifully furnished. Very comfortable beds and was a perfect fit for our family. We were able to dock our boat, and access to the bay was an easy, nice ride. And loved that we were just down the street from the beach. The location was ideal. Our family enjoyed this lovely home!
