Magnifique cottage de caractère indépendant situé dans un jardin privé, à 1,6 km d'Ascot, dans le Berkshire. Grand studio ouvert avec coin salon, kitchenette et chambre à coucher; salle de douche / WC en suite. Parfait pour 1 à 2 personnes à la recherche d'un lieu de séjour confortable et relaxant, que ce soit pour affaires ou pour le plaisir. Il est idéal pour les visiteurs de Ascot Races, Windsor, près de Heathrow et une belle retraite rurale à moins d'une heure du centre de Londres.

La Old School House est proposée sur une base indépendante, mais nous fournissons un rafraîchissement de base avec du thé, du café, du lait et des céréales pour le petit déjeuner. Il y a une kitchenette avec plaques de cuisson, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur, plus une bouilloire et un grille-pain.
Le coin salon confortable comprend un canapé et un fauteuil, une table basse et une petite table à manger.
Une connexion Wi-Fi est disponible et une télévision avec les chaînes Freeview. La chambre a un lit king-size avec des oreillers et une couette hypoallergéniques et les draps sont 100% coton. Tiroir et penderie de rangement sont fournis.

Beautiful Peaceful Stay
The cottage was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed to end our UK trip. We were able to rest, enjoy the sun in the garden, and recoup from our adventure, before hopping on a plane home. Our host was kind and accommodating and responded very quickly. It's a beautiful neighborhood. The only thing to note is it is quite a long walk to/from the train stations and grocery stores. You will need a car or bus to get there.

My husband and I think the Schoolhouse is one of the best VRBO stays we have enjoyed. Although the space was small, every aspect of it was thoughtfully designed and excellent. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, the small kitchen was nicely equipped, the seating area was comfortable and we were able to use the speaker to play our songlists. The garden was lovely and Sean and Caroline were excellent hosts. We would love to return as we could walk to a pub, we found an excellent bakery in Ascot and we enjoyed the hours of walking through Windsor Great Park.

What A Lovely Wee Cottage!
Sean and Carolyn were very welcoming to these 2 weary Canadians. We were extremely happy when the suitcase the airline lost actually showed up the next day. They kept it safe for us (It was protected from the rain while we were out exploring) and when our power bar blew the breaker they immediately came over to fix the situation. We enjoyed our sleep, our great water pressure in the shower the next day, and their thoughtfulness in providing fruit and cereals, tea, and coffee for us too. It is a beautiful place, the grounds as well, and we liked seeing their chickens and cats wandering around too.

Great place for a short stay
The labels on the survey were not showing, but the property was 5 stars across the board. Just about 25 minutes from Heathrow and close to Windsor Great park. Sean and Caroline were great hosts and the chickens were were very friendly - some of them promised to write! Nice pubs and restaurants nearby. It was a perfect spot to get ready for our long flight home after 4 weeks in England.

Lovely place to stay outside of London
We arrived into Heathrow early and stayed at the Old School House. The owners (Caroline and Sean) were very hospitable and helpful with information. The location is fantastic. Very close to Ascot and Sunninghill. It is an excellent place to stay when you start your travels in the UK. The property is clean and comfortable with nice furnishings. This was so much better than another hotel. Also a very good base if you’d like to visit nearby Windsor (there’s a bus that takes you directly from the property or it’s a short drive). I highly recommend the property to you.

Lovely Cottage
This cottage is perfect in every way. It had everything we could have asked for. Fully stocked and super clean. An across the street easy bus ride into Windsor and easy access to the train stations which we took out to Stonehenge. I spent 3 days there with my adult daughter who would love to live there permanently. ; ) The hosts were charming and helpful no matter what the hour. The only thing I wish is that we had spent more time here. A+/5 Star all around wonderful place to stay and visit. Highly recommend! Thank you Sean and Caroline for helping to make this a magical trip for us. I would love to return someday. xoxo

Beautiful little property for a weekend away. Tastefully converted old school house. Hosts were excellent and made us feel extremely welcome and provided a lovely basket of breakfast options and fresh fruit. Great little find perfect location
Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Caroline and Sean’s beautiful little character cottage in their garden. The decor is extremely tasteful and modern, gorgeous feature fire place, and a fab print of David Bowie on the wall. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, spotlessly clean and you couldn’t ask for a better location. Close to Ascot town/racecourse, Windsor and Virginia Water. There is also wonderful old pub just down the road, The Thatched Tavern, within a 5 minute walk that serves great food. Caroline and Sean were wonderful hosts, both very friendly and on hand if needed, but not at all intrusive. Excellent communication as unfortunately we had to change our booking several times due to lockdowns. Would highly recommend and hope to return ourselves in the near future. Thank you.
