L'écurie Cottage est situé dans un emplacement rural idyllique près de Woodchurch.

Situé dans une campagne tranquille à proximité du joli village de Woodchurch, entouré de plus de 2 hectares de jardins et de paddocks, cette attrayante conversion hayloft / stable bénéficie de belles vues sur la campagne ouverte. Il a du caractère et du charme avec des poutres en chêne et de vieux pins dépouillés. Le portique original ajoute à son charme, bien que maintenant seulement utilisé comme une issue de secours. Le chalet est idéalement situé pour visiter plusieurs propriétés et jardins du National Trust ou pour un voyage à Tenterden avec son chemin de fer à vapeur. Les châteaux de Bodium, Dover et Leeds et l'ancienne ville de Rye, ainsi que la cathédrale de Canterbury sont facilement accessibles depuis cet endroit. De nombreux sentiers et sentiers permettent aux visiteurs d'explorer la région à pied ou à vélo. Le Woodcurch Rare Breeds Centre est situé à la périphérie de Woodchurch. «Magasinez jusqu'à ce que vous laissiez tomber» au magasin d'usine de concepteur chez Ashford.
Au rez-de-chaussée il y a une cuisine / salle à manger bien équipée et un grand salon confortable. De la cuisine / salle à manger un escalier mène au premier étage où la grande chambre double et la deuxième petite chambre (voir les photos pour les options de la deuxième chambre) ont une vue exceptionnelle sur la campagne ouverte. Les deux petits lits simples dans la deuxième chambre sont conçus pour s'unir pour faire un lit king-size. Il y a beaucoup d'eau chaude pour permettre un long bain dans le bain ou une douche rafraîchissante après une journée de visites. Il y a un grand parking. L'écurie Cottage ne peut être réservé directement avec le propriétaire. Cela signifie que les prix peuvent rester bas et représenter une excellente valeur.
Lors de votre séjour dans ce cottage, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de Centre des espèces rares du sud de l'Angleterre. L'accès Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une cuisine sont disponibles dans ce cottage.

Charming cottage
Charming cottage in the relaxing Kent countryside, equipped with everything you need. Really warm host and our daughter loved the animals, and in particular the dogs Sophie and Katie :) Well located close to Rye and the beaches of Camber Sands or St Mary's Bay, and possibility of being in London very quickly by train (15 min by car then 35 min from Ashford station). One week was too short to visit everything!

Great Location and Hosts!
Carol was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome upon arrival. We got to pat one of her adorable dogs and see cute sheep out the window every day. Lovely place to stay if you like quiet and a rural location! Some of the roads close to the cottage are one way just to bare in mind and we had deer crossing where the woods are one night (which we were very excited to see!), so please drive carefully. Cottage was nicely decorated and comfortable, and with a smart TV which was an added bonus! Will definitely recommend to family and friends :) Thank you so much for a lovely stay! :)

nice stay in beautyful landscape
If you like older buildings with charm this is a nice option. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is placed in beautyful landscape on an quiet light traffic street. The landlady is very kind. Even though we are Germans we can understand her english very well. Childrens are realy welcome. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time in this cosy, clean cottage that provides all you need. Kids loved then dogs and Carol is a british original with a big heart and always helpful when needed. 25 minutes drive to sand beaches. Definite recommendation If you want to have it really calm and relaxed.

Lovely cottage!!!
The Stable Cottage is absolutely wonderful and lovingly prepared.Our family spent a relaxing holiday there. The communication with Carol was very friendly and fast. Thank you for the kind welcome. Mitten im englischen Gartenparadies
Angefangen von der herzlichen Begrüßung durch die Gastgeber bis zur warmherzigen Verabschiedung haben wir in dem wunderbaren englischen Cottage eine tolle Urlaubswoche genossen. Es liegt ganz ruhig in einer englischen Bilderbuchlandschaft. Von der Unterkunft aus sind viele interessante Ausflugsziele in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Auch der nächste Bahnhof ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wonderful nice cottage
We had a wonderful time in the nice cottage. We felt really welcome. Carol and Robin are great hosts and we enjoyed staying there. The cottage is cosy and we had everything we needed. It's a good starting point to lots of old castles, beaches, gardens and also to London. The dogs, sheeps and chickens are so nice and where always a pleasure for the children when we came back after a long sightseeing day. They loved to go with Carol and the dogs and felt familiar. Carol offered lots of help and support in many ways. We just can say thank you and hope to come back!

Heel gezellige cottage in een prachtige, rustige en landelijke omgeving.
De cottage ligt heel landelijk, waarbij je in de ochtend gewekt wordt door de vogels. De schapen staan op het stukje land naast de cottage, waarop ook het theehuisje staat. Hierin kan je op een loungebed heerlijk genieten van de rust en natuur. De cottage is ook heel gezellig wanneer het wat slecht weer zou zijn, een electrisch haardje in de kamer zorgt hiervoor. Verder is alles dat je nodig hebt aanwezig in de cottage. Carol, de eigenaresse, is een lieve, behulzame en geïnteresseerde dame. De omgeving is typisch engels met gezellige stadjes, kastelen, kerkjes enz. Wij bevelen het verblijf ten zeerste aan en hopen daarmee dat anderen net zo genieten als wij hebben gedaan!

This is a historical property converted stables, Historical properties come with creaking floors, low doorways but they more than make up for it in charm and character. it is in the perfect location to experience the Kent countryside, sheep and chickes outside the window. Short drive to the local pub and town.

Carol is a super nice hostess who immediately made us feel at home. The cottage is small, but fine for a short stay. It was nice and warm and cosy during Christmas. There is more than enough to do in the area. Highly recommended is eating at the pub 'Chequers on the green'. We had a lovely week here!

Our perfect accomodation
For us the Stable was the perfect accomodation for our stay in beautiful Kent. We loved the setting between paddocks and fields with wildlife all around. The Lane beneath the cottage was not to busy, so we felt no disturbance from traffic. The rooms were perfectly sized for our needs and absolutely cosy and well equipped. We loved the chats with Carol and her husband when meeting on the grounds. They made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. The dogs are lovely and the chicken´s eggs were delicious. We will definitely come back.

Peaceful Rural Location
The property was in a wonderful, peaceful, rural location with lovely views of the owner's sheep in the field. All necessary amenities were provided and the owner very kindly provided us with supplies for our cooked breakfast and provided milk! The owner was very friendly. Parking was easy. The Summer house was great to use. The cottage was lovely. A wonderful experience and I can highly recommend it.

Good Location and beautiful views
Property was nicely situated on owner's land although some individual, private outdoor space would have been appreciated. The stairs were a little tricky (for us elderly folk) although probably would not be problematic to younger people - might be worth a mention in online listing though. Carol was exceedingly pleasant, very friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed out stay.

Charming cottage with a warm welcome
We stayed in the cottage for a week in May. The detached cottage is well situated on the premises next to the home of the host. Carol is a helpful and amiable host and she loves animals. She took one of our daugthers for a long walk with her dogs and our daugther really enjoyed. The cottage is a former stable, the rooms are cozy with beautiful old beams in the walls and doorposts. Like in all older houses, tall people should mind their head (> 1,90 m) in some places, but this is part of the charming character. There is a lot of space outside, you can linger in the yard or at the small garden house with a book and enjoy the silence of the countryside. Also a lot of room for the car. Apart from spending the day near the cottage enjoying peace of mind and going for a walk, the location is perfect for trips to Hastings, Canterburry, Dover, Rye, Maidstone to name a few. All within 30-45 minutes drive. Do not forget to go for an English breakfast in nearby Tenterden.

Gemütliches Cottage in schöne und ruhiger Lage
Wir haben einen schönen 7tägigen Urlaub in diesem sehr gemütlichen Cottage erlebt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. London und die Harry Potter Studios sind in akzeptabler Reichweite und auch ansonsten hat die Gegend viel zu bieten. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Down on the farm
An amazing location with peace and quiet in abundance. Beautiful scenery and the stay was made even more wonderful with the sheep and chickens to keep us entertained. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon one day, sat in the summer house with a bottle of wine and watched the dragon flies flitting over the Lilly pads in the pond. So relaxing and peaceful.
