Thanksgiving vacation
This is our third year staying at this condo and we’ve already booked it for next year. It’s well stocked, clean and extremely comfortable. This condo is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants close by. You can’t go wrong staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The space and layout were perfect. It was quiet and clean. It really had everything we needed - supplies and the washer and dryer were an added bonus. The 2 pool options were great as well. We would love to come back!

I have rented numerous units at Southwinds over the years, but this unit was by far the nicest. Modern decor throuhout, very lovely. All you need to bring is your clothes & food. The host, Terry, provides galore amenitities.The unit has about everything. I highly recommend. EXCELLANT stay

The property was very nice and had everything we needed. There was an internet issue during the stay and Terry contacted the provider and worked to get the issue resolved. All of the amenities were as listed. I would recommend bringing a wagon if you have a lot of things to carry to the beach. It is quite a long walk if you’re carrying things.

Great stay at beautiful property
This was one of our favorite properties so far. The location was perfect and close to all of our favorite restaurants. The beach is beautiful and accessible from the property. The home was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable and that’s always a huge plus to me because I have had several back surgeries and have a lot of difficulty finding beds that’s aren’t uncomfortable but this one was great! We will definitely rent here again in the future. Thank you again!

3 nights isn't enough!
We chose Terry's property to stay at for visiting the MCAS airshow in Havelock, about 30 min away. Great hostess and very prompt to answer questions! This was our first time in the area and being at this property made it very enjoyable and easy, thank you Terry! Great short get-away. This was the perfect size for our family of 6, (4 children 1-9 yrs old). I love that this property is on 1 floor and doesn't have any inside stairs to have to watch the baby with. Wonderful short walk to the quiet private beach and the pools are great to have too. She provides lawn chairs, sand items, cooler bags which came in handy because I forgot my wagon. Cooking dinner was a breeze. Awesome location. We really love that it's quiet yet so convenient to everything we wanted to see including Beaufort. Will be back!

Just as good as the other reviews said!
We have never stayed in a condo style property at the beach and were a little nervous about trying it out but we LOVED this property. Quiet, great beach access and very clean. Truly they maximized every space and they had everything we needed. From beach towels, to beach chairs to a well appointed kitchen we really appreciated not having to bring those items when traveling with 2 kids under 2. The only two things that could have made it better were: Better window coverings in the bedrooms. There was a lot of light that came in from the street lights in the complex and we couldn't find a way to cover them and this effected our kids and our sleep. Also, I wished we had a coffee pot. We are big coffee people and having the kcups only, we weren't prepared for so we left every morning to head out and grab coffee locally. That was a little challenging with two young kiddos. Other than that, I cannot complain one bit and wouldn't rate the property low because of it. Still a great spot and we would rent again but just plan differenly next time!

This is a comfortable, clean, and well-located apartment! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed walking on the beach, hiking the nature trails, exploring Fort Macon, birdwatching, and much more. Thanks for a great stay!

The first floor unit was easy to access from the parking area. The unit was just like the listing clean, with a great beach vibe. The layout was great and the extras were amazing. Nicely stocked kitchen. Beach towels, chairs and etc. Would stay here again.

Wonderful experience
Well appointed, immaculately, clean! Kitchen equipped with everything. you will need. Two beautiful pools and a beautiful beach just a couple of minutes walk away. Beach umbrellas, chairs, mats, boogie boards, etc. included. Location is convenient. Fort Macon, and the park just a 10 minute drive away, a must see! Terry was very timely in responding to questions we had. Check in is a breeze. Highly recommend.

Home at the beach
Hi, Really nice and cozy 2 bedroom condo. 1st floor which is convenient, 2 pools at the complex. Short walk to the beach. Most importantly, this condo is really well stocked! From beach towels to sand toys, books for kids, cooking spices! Because of all this items you really feel like at your own home! It was a pleasure to vacation there!

Great stay
Such a clean place and nice quiet location. It had so many things stocked for us and our kids loved the bunk bed room and the kids books. The community was nice and we liked that it had a pool nearby the unit as well as a pool and bathroom right close to the beach. The beach area was very nice too and less crowded then the rest of the stretch. Didn’t have any problems at all! Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful family vacation spot
This place has everything that you need for a relaxing family vacation. My son compared it to Whoville, where everyone is pleasant and even started calling it paradise after we were greeted by another tenant. There are so many extras here that are provided that you don’t get in other vacation spots. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

Heaven at the Beach
We just returned from a 5 day stay and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was immaculately clean and so well organized. Terry thought of everything from coffee, snacks, extra toothbrushes, extra towels (regular and beach), beach chairs, cooler, boogie board, and a cart! The place is decorated beautifully and is a very short and easy walk to the beach. You’re about a minute from the pool. The location is wonderful. Less than a mile from Fort Macon so it’s quiet and peaceful. We have already inquired about coming back. This place and Terry are fantastic!!!
