Boasting 1200 square feet of artfully designed space, our abode marries lofty high ceilings with a sleek and simplistic design, ensuring every guest feels both at home and immersed in style. The expansive living room, adorned with a vast smart TV, becomes the hub for relaxation. Whether your agenda includes streaming the latest Netflix sensation, diving into a virtual conference with our high-speed wifi, or lounging on our two full-sized sleeper sofas, we've got your back (and with extra linens, your overnight guests too!).

Culinary enthusiasts rejoice! Our kitchen isn't just fully-equipped with modern essentials but also features ample storage for your favorite snacks and a trendy bar area with stools. Share meals or moments at the dining table, which comfortably seats four. But when Austin's weather beckons, take your dining experience outside. Sleeping arrangements, you ask? Luxurious and versatile! The primary bedroom houses a plush king bed, generous closet space, and an en-suite bathroom. Two more queen bedrooms grace the main floor, each offering ample closet space with one boasting an added luxury - its own smart TV. Feeling a tad adventurous? Our spiral staircase leads to a lofted sanctuary, replete with a dreamy queen bed.

For our guests who pack more than just suitcases, in-unit laundry ensures you're always looking sharp. Both bathrooms come generously stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, ensuring morning routines are both luxurious and convenient.

While we love Austin's four-legged furballs, we kindly request you leave them at home for this stay. As for your four-wheeled companions, rest easy knowing TWO complimentary parking spots await in our garage. For any extra vehicles, nearby garages offer spaces at a mere ~$20 per day.

We don't charge a security deposit! Where many hosts charge over $500, and where you as the guest risk them not returning your deposit – Austin Vacay remains guest-centric by charging a one-time, non-refundable fee (already included in your booking price) which provides up to $1,000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions). This means a lower cost to book, and because accidents happen, protection against costly charges. Plan terms and conditions provided by request after booking.

Situated near the University of Texas at Austin, the neighborhood in this part of the city exudes a youthful and vibrant energy. Known for its blend of academic culture and lively city life, the area offers an array of dining, shopping, and entertainment options catering to students, residents, and visitors alike. Museums and cultural centers in the vicinity contribute to an intellectual vibe, reflecting the neighborhood's close ties to education and the arts. Outdoor spaces and parks add to the appeal, providing opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Scooters (Lime & Bird) as well as Lyft and Uber are the best ways to get around Austin, especially this close to everything. However, there are also a lot of public transportation options in this area (see CapMetro's website).
We have security cameras outside of our home at the entrances for added security and your peace of mind. We do not have any cameras inside of the home, respecting our guests' privacy.
1) No smoking allowed (of any kind) ($350 fine)
2) No loud noises after 10 PM per city ordinance
3) No events or parties
4) No pets allowed
5) The cleaning that you pay for is to clean the home prior to your stay. If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently when you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee - price depends on how long it takes to clean up after you. We don't expect you to scrub the home, but simply pick up your trash and put everything where you found it
6) Minimum age requirement is 25
7) If you do not check out on time (11AM) you will be charged an additional night
8) Please see the House Manual emailed to you a few days before your stay
9) The reservation includes TWO free parking spaces in the garage
10) The elevator operation is controlled by building management, we can not guarantee this amenity

Location!

This property is a great location if you’re doing anything with University of Texas. We stayed there for my son’s graduation and it made everything so easy. The property does need some TLC and a deep clean. Walls are pretty torn up and need paint. Definitely needs a good cleaning and maybe a little bit of new drywall, trim and paint to spruce it up. Having said that, the location was hard to beat.

Game Day

The location was great. It was parent's weekend, so there were many people around, but not noisy at all. The apartment needs a good cleaning especially the upstairs. We did not sleep upstairs because of the dust. I am not sure twelve adults could sleep comfortably there. I think 10 at the most. I don't mean to be critical as it was just fine for us as we were only five adults. But I think it would be hard for four people to sleep on the two sofa beds and there are only two bathrooms. Nicer furniture and more seating on the balcony would have been nice. The weather was nice, so we tried to sit outside. The dining chairs are not the ones in the photos - they are not very comfortable at all, so moving them outside didn't help. Thankfully we did not plan to and did not spend very much time in the apartment, so it worked fine for our needs.

Property was large and spacious. Plenty of room for multiple people as well as bedrooms. Ideal pricing and the instructions were laid out easy. Check in and check out were easy. Communication constant and top notch. Would stay again.

Another great stay!

Stayed for one week in Austin to move in my Longhorn son and tour around this amazing city. The property was perfect. The unit is enourmous with an incredible patio which unfortunately gets way toooo hot to truly enjoy during the peak sun time (4-6)! The location was perfect to walk to campus or quickly connect to the highway to travel around Austin. The hosts were excellent to communicate with before, during and even after our stay. Look forward to staying here again!

Very spacious. My graduate students and I had an event at UT Austin. The walk is about 7-min to the Engineering Education Research Center. The area has many restaurants too. So, this is a very convenient place for a group of students to stay in.

Great time in university area

I had a great time here! Lots of great restaurants, bars, and shopping within walking distance or a short car ride away. This is very close to UT Austin and there are many fraternity and sorority houses and college students in the area, it was pretty quiet the whole weekend but we also came in December during finals week so I can imagine it might be a bit busier and noisier during warmer parts of the year and earlier in the semester. The apartment itself was relatively clean, with many beds. We liked the large living room and high ceilings. Shared patio with other units was interesting. Building and area felt clean and generally safe. Owner was very fast to respond to messages before and during the trip! Overall A+ no complaints, if we return to Austin I will remember this spot!

Great location/ unacceptable conditions

The neighborhood, space and parking accomodation worked great. The property lists "huge patio!" but the host neglected to tell us that the patio was under full construction, which not only made the patio dangerous to use, but the workers arrived at 7 AM each day, creating an unacceptable level of noise. In addition, the sink in teh second bathroom was completely clogged unusable, and seemed to be filling up from the drain side. I contacted management, and was told that the faulty sink would be addressed and it was not. This could be a nice property for a family stay visiting the college or city in general, however, there was no excuse for failing to inform us of the nuisance level construction which was underway.

Some minor issues with check-in time as cleaning staff was not aware of new guests checking in ... And water outage due to burst pipe next door... Not fault of property owner. Overall, a nice place, good location... Clean property... Enjoyed stay.

Beware of Parking

Got towed the first night as we got in like 2 am from a delayed flight and did not realize we were in 15 min parking. Second night got towed, security did not see parking permit in dash no fee but caused us to be late to our meetings/conference locating our car and cost us Uber fee. Our rental car had FL plates so just seemed like looking for reasons to tow in the complex. Disappointed unit was not as clean as I would have expected. Served the purpose for the need with multiple rooms.

I loved the location of the apartment very convenient my only issue was they gave me wrong check in number and I called and texted the only number that I had. No reply, I emailed and got a reply quickly giving me the correct number but other than that small issue place was clean, will definitely be going back whenever we are in town
