Enjoy plenty of opportunities to get outdoors during your stay at this vacation home! Large windows invite natural light and woodland views into the living room. Bask in the glow of the wood-burning fireplace while you watch favorite TV shows. The chef in your group will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen that features everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. Nibble on appetizers at the four-person kitchen bar, then gather at the six-person dining table. Practice your musical skills after dinner on the piano. This retreat has two loft areas, both are located on opposite sides of the home. The first loft has a comfortable bed with a primary bedroom, while the second loft offers another bed and it's accessed by a ladder.

Situated just a short stroll from the beach, this retreat offers space to unwind outdoors at home, too. Step outside to the spacious stone patio to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy alfresco living. A private balcony boasts a scenic overlook amid the trees.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Amazing cabin!
We stayed for two days during the Christmas studio tours. The property was amazing! Clean and cozy with lots of space in a super rural setting. The property is very well appointed. Everything for cooking was on hand and spotless. My only criticism is for the electronic entry lock which I had to enter the code plenty of times to get it to work. I could be my thick fingers...but it didn't take away from the fact this this was a super rental.

Beautiful cottage in the woods!
The surrounding yard and area are gorgeous! The landscaping and garden features are lush. The house in a few blocks walking distance from the interior Fletcher Bay coast line in Port Orchard side of Bainbridge Island. The house is charming with many windows and doors to enjoy the exterior beauty surrounding every side of the house. It was lovely!

I could live here for the rest of my life
This house is perfect. Ideally located close to Seattle with a short ferry ride, but also Olympic NP is accessible. (There were roadworks that made it harder, but once they are ready it will be an easier ride). The house has really everything that you need for your stay, but most importantly it’s charm and location is what we loved the most. There is a public place nearby to launch your kayaks/SUPs too. One of the best houses we have stayed… and we stayed in many… thanks

Rented the house for my parents to stay while they were visiting. The cabin is clean and full of natural light. Peaceful setting in the trees and a quick walk to the water. We will rent again next time they come.

We arrived at 6:00 PM to find that the code they gave us for the electronic door entry would not work. After calling Vacasa we got a new code that did work UNTIL the following night at 8:00 PM at which time it did not work. Called and got another code. House is in ill repair. There is a pet door off of the upstairs bathroom that has a door that is broken and won't stay on-racoons etc. can easily enter the home. Carpet dirty, cellular blinds so dirty they look like a dirty yellow. Toast crumbs on the window sill behind the toaster, spider webs above the bed upstairs, and a shower door that has an inch gap at the bottom thus an orange and wet stain on the rug. A ceiling light upstairs that has just wires showing. TV only has local programming. This could be a nice rental with deep cleaning and lots of maintenance. Book for guests needs to be updated-talked about a key in a lock box. Finally having to enter a code every time you enter is very inconvenient especially when it takes 4 or 5 tries to get the door code to work. Very disappointed.

The house was not clean. I needed to clean kitchen before use, wash throw blankets that were dirty, dead bugs in bath, dirty sheets noted after use. The house is stocked with a mishmash of old furniture, smattering of utensils. Only 2 burners on stove, has a stand alone oven without pans etc. The rugs are dirty and stained, the walls are dirty. Very disappointing and unacceptable.

Cute Cabin
Wonderful, cute cabin. Very clean and lovely, tranquil setting. I saw mentions in previous reviews that the upstairs shower didn’t work. It does. You pull the handle straight out instead of just turning. Turn to adjust the temp. The temperature adjustment is very sensitive. Maybe a note in the bathroom with brief instructions would help? Overall a great place.

Anniversary on Bainbridge
Nice quiet place a couple miles from downtown, with beach access a short walk away. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen except the oven didn’t work. There was a toaster oven/air fryer so wasn’t a problem for us.

Good enough, but not great
Ideal location in mid-Bainbridge Island and in a quiet neighborhood near the western sound shorefront. Overall, however, this property appears tired with age. Very 70-80’s style architecture with sort of a confounding room layout. One shower upstairs, off the primary bedroom, and a bedroom that feels as much like a loft as it does a room to itself. First impressions matter in this business, and being greeted by unattended full plastic garbage bags left for pick up at the driveway entrance and an overgrown-ignored lawnscape fouled our early thoughts. In fairness, a call to a responsive property manager who alerted the property owner, and who took these matters into his own hands and corrected them promptly. The primary bed itself was very comfortable, but for the annoying plastic protector beneath the sheets. The sheets were rough and scratchy in texture. Could also use a fresh set of towels. Hot water to upstairs bathroom setup took at least a full minute to arrive at the faucet heads. Patio furniture needs replacing as 1-2 chairs and a table are either very worn or broken. Though the WiFi was excellent throughout the house and on the patio, no local CATV programming available - all streaming. Bedroom TV only accepted DVD’s as we could determine. The cheery brightened photo in the promotion for this property is deceiving. A massive pruning effort and a new paint/finish job would go a long way in diminishing the disconnect between the promotional photos and reality. In summary, the property is adequate as a place to stay, but it is underwhelming.

Clean quiet getaway
Great place to stay in Bainbridge. We loved the bright open floorplan, jacuzzi and the quiet property. The wood fireplace worked great and added to the coziness. The only downsides where we would've liked improvements are the lack of curtains for the giant windows in the upstairs/master bedroom, the leaky showerhead that sprays everywhere, and the beds were kind of on the hard/firm side after a while. It'd also be nice if they left a floor fan somewhere for white noise and air circulation at night.
