This charming detached cottage is just three miles from Ballinrobe and offers cosy and comfortable accommodation all on the ground floor. The living area is on open plan and is spacious, light and airy, the modern fitted kitchen is well equipped and there is a generous sized dining area. The warm, inviting lounge has an open fire, making it a very welcoming space if the evenings turn chilly. There are three bright and tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double with an en-suite bathroom, another double and a twin room and a further shower room. Outside is a small garden area with furniture and a barbecue and shared access to a secluded harbour onto Lough Mask. This cottage makes a superb base to see this lovely part of Ireland.

Town: The vibrant town of Ballinrobe is situated by the River Robe in County Mayo, close to Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. Dating back to the 1300s, it is thought to be the oldest town in South Mayo. The town now has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and pubs and its location makes it an ideal base to explore County Mayo and County Galway. There are a number of outdoor activities available in the area, from fishing on the nearby lakes to a round of golf on one of the many fine golf courses in the area. Further away and roughly a two-hour drive lies the National Park of Connemara with wonderful walks and breathtaking scenery. This is a wonderful region for a holiday at any time of year.
