Spacious home apartment in park like setting

Welcome to this beautiful 900 square foot daylight basement apartment with 9' ceilings. This spacious apartment is on the lower level of the main house. It is completely separate with its own covered entrance. Located in South Bellingham within minutes to parks, trails, beaches, shopping and WWU. Galbraith trailheads are 2.3 miles away for those who enjoy mountain biking. For walking, hiking or running we have many options including Lake Padden, Whatcom Falls, Interurban Trail, and Boulevard Park all within minutes of our home.

Our family resides above the apartment with our own separate entrance. With a simple call or text during your stay we can assist with any questions or issues you have. We understand if you require your privacy and we will make sure to accommodate. We hope you enjoy your stay in this neighborhood that provides both privacy and a wide array of access to Bellingham's small town amenities.

We enjoyed the space! Sofas are cozy, beds are comfy! Everything is organized. The labels and informational sheets are helpful. We had a wonderful time in Bellingham during the day and then relaxing back at our space in the evenings.

Clean, cozy well-kept with special holiday decorations over our winter holiday stay. Private entrance. Little, thoughtful “extras” everywhere. Super comfy bed. When our Lyft driver left w/o us, Stephanie saved us with a ride to the airport in her car! The best of the best!

WWU Family weekend vacation
We loved the apartment for our family weekend at nearby Western Washington University. Great proximity to the university. The apartment was super clean, nicely decorated, spacious, and provided with cable TV, indoor and outdoor games and activities. We even had our little dog with us and she was welcomed at the apartment. Our hostess Stephanie was the best! She was very cordial and friendly, even offered their electric vehicle charger for my daughter’s rental. We would love to stay here next year for the long weekend should we return. Thank you!

Cozy setting, perfect stay and fun amenities!
We can from Indiana to visit our son at WWU. This place was a perfect hidden gem. Communication was simple and easy, as we made last minute arrangements. They were right on top of like setting. We sat outside and watched football on our son’s computer in the park like setting, and played pickleball. It was a great stay. I highly recommend this as your home base on your visit.

Wonderfully spacious and completely outfitted with everything you need, we loved our stay! Thea little outdoor patio is absolutely adorable and the string lights at night are a nice touch. Park like setting is 100% accurate.

The apartment in the Samish neighborhood is fantastic! Located among nice homes, near Highway 5, shopping, restaurants and parks. This two bedroom one bathroom is tastefully decorated and has games to play, ROKU, a basketball and pickleball court. Owners quick to respond to questions.

My husband and I stayed in this property for 2 nights. Check-in was easy and the private entrance is separate from that of the upstairs main house. Everything was very clean with nice decor. There are pamphlets, maps and books about the area. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well as the small kitchen. Comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom and a nice dining area complete the space. We did not use the outdoor sport court but it looked fun. The owners have created and maintain a very nice rental. There is some noise transfer from the upstairs to the apartment but it was very quiet overnight and in the mornings.

Wonderful accommodations
My sisters and I were in Bellingham to participate in my nieces wedding. The location of this accommodation was perfect. We could escape to the front terrace of the apartment at the end of the day and rest and restore for the next activity. Stephanie provided a well stocked and very pleasant getaway. The road to the house was very steep and the walk to the door awkward for unpacking and roller suitcases. For elders it was a bit challenging. Other wise we loved the place and our weekend in Bellingham.
