Apartment great, property manager / vrbo communication awful
The apartment was very nice, great building and nice desk staff and facilities. Very safe and comfortable.
Some minor maintenance items to report, bathroom sink doesnt drain, but I cant report it to global luxury site to give feedback errors out.
The issue is Global Luxury suites that really created a stressful and negative experience, so be advised
When you book a property on vrbo, everything should be disclosed and managed through the vrbo site.
Parking
was listed as a feature, but I wondered how to access it. I took it upon myself a few days in advance to submit a question, which VRBO referred to the Global. They told me to call them. I called and the rep said parking was extra, $15// day, I said OK, She said I needed to charge it to my credit card, I said OK. She sent me a form which had coding errors in I it and would not allow me to fill out,
I tried multiple time,s then called again. Different person, I had to explain it all again, asked me what error I was getting. I said the form rejects my date of birth and sec code. Put me on hold, came back and emails a second form. This one finally worked, but seriously, This fee should have been disclosed and collected earlier in a more seamless way.
Not done yet…
I received an email that I needed to doc sign things and provide pictures of my credit card and drivers license in advance to check in. The upload site they had was not loading, tried different computers and browsers. By the time I saw the email I was already in flight. My wife tried to help from the ground, and after several phone calls and attempts it was finally solved.
However, even a day after I had already checked in, I was still receiving urgent emails that Must doc sign and upload my drivers license.
