PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Discover ultimate relaxation amid our Blue Ridge Mountain indulgences at your 6BR 4BA mountain getaway just an hour outside of Washington, D.C. and 30 minutes from Dulles International Airport.

This modern lodge rental consists of recently remodeled inside from top to bottom and boasts a prime outdoor entertaining space overlooking the entire Washington D.C. Metro Area. We have just installed a first floor walk out patio and doubled the size of our second-story deck. We are making available an outdoor fire pit and a spectacular yard with a private view equipped with al fresco dining, outdoor entertainment, and dog-friendly environment.

Step outside your door and drive just within 15 minutes to multiple Western Loudoun Wineries, Breweries, our favorite local dining experiences and eclectic shops.

LIVING AREAS
The Lodge at Bear Rock features a two-story open concept living and dining room equipped with comfortable luxury modern furniture and 80in SmartTV with all the streaming apps. The windows provide top top-to-bottom natural light with incredible views.

On the bottom level of the lodge we have transformed the space with a SmartTV, lounge area and a wet-bar for evening cocktails out on our new patio and deck with game tables.

KITCHEN and DINING
The well-equipped retro modern kitchen includes a sub-zero refrigerator/freezer and chef-level appliances and a large island for hors d'oeuvres and wine tastings. Dine or lounge next to a dual-sided wood-burning fireplace at the six-person table or our second eight-person table.

BEDROOMS and BATHS
The lodge has a total of six bedrooms that sleep up to 12 guests. Four full bathrooms are each stocked with a complimentary supply of luxury towels, toiletries and bath amenities.

The primary bedroom has a king bed, a wood-burning fireplace, and an ensuite bath with a modern walk-in shower attached to a bedroom with a twin daybed and twin trundle. The second lodge bedroom is furnished with a king bed and attached to a fourth bedroom that has twin bunk beds. The second bath includes a soaking tub/shower full bathroom.

On the main floor the bedroom has a king bed and is across the hall from a full bath with a walk-in shower. In the newly remodeled basement floor, we have a sixth bedroom with a queen bed and an ADA-compliant ensuite bath with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREAS
Relax outside on our new trex deck that overlooks the entire DC Metro Area, and below is an equally sized patio from our latest walk-out basement living area, which is also equipped with a seven-person hot tub! Enjoy your favorite cocktail, local craft beer or wine on a private 15 acres of mountainside views. Our new two-tiered yard will accommodate your party’s special occasion or happy hour after a long day of offsite planning.

LoudounStay has a Guest Concierge full time employee that reaches out to every guest that books with a LoudounStay property. Outside of the signature standardized services/amenities, we have partnerships with catering, chef experience, sommeliers, transportation, wineries, outdoor/adventure companies, and many more that we coordinate with to build customized experiences.

Drive and discover just within 10-15 minutes to some of Western Loudoun’s well-established trails, restaurants, wineries, breweries and distilleries in Bluemont, Purcellville and Round Hill.

Great house!
This modern-rustic cabin in the woods has been updated to be very comfortable for our group of 6. We went for the xmas holiday and had a wonderful time. The number of bedroom/bathroom were conflicting on the website. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking gear (no spices beyond salt/pepper so plan to bring everything that you will need). There is no icemaker but plenty of dish towels which was great. Everything worked well in the kitchen and house in general. The two sided fireplace was difficult to contain the smoke in so we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked. There was plenty of firewood on the property to use but it was mostly green wood that was hard to burn. I would bring some fire logs of your own for sake of ease. The bathrooms are all renovated and comfortable. The main floor bathroom was tiny with one towel bar and one hook so not a lot of places to hang your towels etc. there is very limited counter space and no closets in the bedrooms which made our room very cramped with luggage etc. A few more hooks in the bed and bath would make it easier to use. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. One complaint was only two towels were provided in the bathrooms. 4 would have been great. The furnishings were comfortable and plenty of seating for all. I loved the two dining table options. There a handful of games provided as well. Internet and tv worked great. It’s a lovely area to visit & we enjoyed the brewery down the street and vineyards.

Great, secluded mountain getaway
I recently visited the property for a long weekend with my husband. We really enjoyed the location, views were amazing! The home was kept clean and stocked with all the cooking needs. The only thing I’d say could be improved, which really doesn’t effect the 5 star rating because the property itself, is heating or cooling the property before the guests arrival. It wasn’t too bitter cold (40) when we arrived, luckily, because the temperature of the home was cooling at 62, which I assume was a mistake. Otherwise, everything was very warm and welcoming.

Outstanding New Years getaway
Easy booking and check in process. The house was clean and nicely decorated for the holidays (a wonderful surprise). The views from the back deck were outstanding, especially at sunrise. Our large group was easily able to lounge in the main area and cook in the kitchen without bumping into each other. Rooms were great, as well as clean modern bathrooms. Location was amazing. A short drive to hikes, breweries, and wineries. 5 stars all around.

The best girls weekend!
We stayed at this house for a girls' weekend. It was the first time we had gathered as a group since the pandemic started. The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We will definitely stay here again!

Love this house!
We loved this beautiful house! Area is quiet with a large yard that is perfect for games and a nice deck with a stunning view - the house is clean and newly renovated, the primary bedroom bath was to die for :) the hosts were helpful and responsive too, we will definitely be back! one small thing is that that AC didn't cool the house down very well, but that could've been a glitch on our side.

Great Location for a Family Getaway
Thanks to all for a great venue and a great stay. Home was very accommodating with its 5 bedrooms and wonderful views. Close to hikes to Raven's Rock and short drive to Bear Chase Brewery (we won gift certificate at Trivia night on Taco Tuesday!!) and Bluemont Winery as well. Had a friendly visitor in a new fawn who came by to say hello. Independence Day Fireworks consisted of our excellent view to about 15 fireworks shows across the valley below with Smores!!

Out of town family for wedding
The property was immaculate, convenient, and comfortable. Family was able to relax and enjoy the beautiful views in between wedding activities. So much better than staying at a hotel! Our stay was cut short due to sudden illness of a family member back home, and the owner was extremely compassionate and helpful. Really appreciated the personal touch!

Such a beautiful place and a very comfortable house! The house and the kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect for a remote retreat, but an easy drive to both Winchester and Leesburg. I'm sure the property will be even more beautiful when the landscaping is finished.

Amazing Weekend Getaway
Everything about this house was wonderful! We rented it for a bachelorette winery weekend and it was the perfect location. It's so close to so many different wineries and breweries, but we felt like we were in our own little world. The house was more like a hotel with all of the little "extra" touches - they thought of everything! All of the girls raved about how unique it was and the amazing view. The property managers were equally as impressive. They arranged for a personal chef to come one evening and teach us to cook, which was one of the highlights of our trip, and also arranged transportation for our large group to wineries during the day. They were very responsive throughout the months leading up to our trip and were such a great help in making everything happen! Several of the people in our party asked for the information to book the house at a later date! We would definitely come back!

Bachelorette Blizzard
The Lodge at Bear Rock was perfect in every way. We traveled this way for a Bachelorette party because of the wineries and breweries. When the weather took a bit of a turn (60 degrees one day and 6 inches of snow the next), we could't have been stuck in a better house! I can't speak highly enough about the property and management company. For a house full of cooks and entertainers, The Lodge at Bear Rock had everything we needed to pull of the perfect weekend. We've already talked about coming back!

Incredible house for entertaining
Rented this house for a bridal shower and it was the perfect location. Pam from LoudonStay helped us arrange catering to the house as well as a van for us to go to and from a nearby vineyard. House was great for multiple guests as there are 3 bathrooms and 6 beds. House was stocked with everything you would need for a weekend trip and owners and LoudonStay were incredibly responsive and helpful. Would strongly suggest staying at this property!

Great Getaway that’s Close to Everything
Beautiful home, well maintained and secluded. Less than 2 hours from DC but feels much further. Close proximity to several of Loudon’s best wineries and breweries. The home is big enough for a family but cozy enough for a couples getaway. We will be back!
