La cabine des Carpates deviendra votre lieu de détente préféré dans les Blue Ridge Mountains. La grande terrasse, la cuisine, le salon et la chambre principale offrent une vue à long terme sur la promenade.
Vous vous sentirez comme à la maison en raison de l'atmosphère chaleureuse et de la cuisine entièrement équipée et vous serez alimenté par l'abondance de lumière naturelle dans le salon et la salle à manger.
La cabane est dans un cadre de montagne magnifique, loin des rues animées et autres locations de vacances. Les quelques voisins sont très sympathiques. C'est un endroit idéal pour les couples ou les familles avec enfants à profiter du plein air. Venez vous balancer sur la balançoire, vous détendre dans la cour latérale ou sur le pont, observer les oiseaux ou faire une randonnée à proximité. Venez automne ou hiver, printemps ou été. Chaque saison a sa beauté ici et vous pouvez simplement choisir un favori différent pendant votre séjour.
Si vous souhaitez explorer la région, Blue Ridge Parkway est à environ un kilomètre et Blowing Rock et Boone sont à environ 10 minutes en voiture. Ils offrent des restaurants, des parcs, des terrains de jeux et des magasins, pour énumérer quelques points d’intérêt.
Tweetsie Railroad et Mystery Hill sont de grandes attractions pour les enfants et moins de 10 minutes en voiture de la cabine.
La montagne de ski des Appalaches est à environ 15 minutes et Tubing / Canoë sur New River est à 30 minutes en voiture.
Vous pouvez faire de la randonnée dans les parcs de la région, au large de Blue Ridge Pkway, ainsi que autour du chalet.
Grandfather Mountain est à environ 30 minutes en voiture.

quiet retreat place

Family went for a ski trip during MLK weekend. The place was nice, secluded and view was great. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short as there is a forecast of more snow and i'm not sure if we will get stuck if we wait for the next day. The hosts were great, very helpful and easy to reach when I needed some assistance.

Beautiful stay at the cabin

It was a very cozy cabin, but the route to it is quite washed out because of the bad weather recently! The hosts were helpful and the instructions were accurate. Highly recommend an all wheel drive SUV for the travel!

House on the side of a hill 🏔️

It’s hard to summarize the stay that we had. I will start with the negatives and then I will go to the positive; one of the negatives is that when we arrived there was no water and no water pressure after further investigation…there was a busted pipe that we had communicated with the owner about, but there were no repairs that were done during our stay, so we had no water and low water pressure. Also, the driveway to the house caused damage to our vehicle due to overgrown bushes and washed out rock. Onto the positives. We came up there for Tweetsie Railroad and we were at a very good location for the Railroad. also a good distance for food and other activities. And the house was toddler friendly, which is always a great plus. Will definitely stay here again. Hopefully this time with water. Communication with the owner was very nice and they gave a moderate discount for lack of water.

August stay

Overall the cabin was clean, comfortable, was well stocked with anything needed, and nice view. Getting a quick response on having a charcoal grill, not gas, allowed purchase of coal and starter before coming into the cabin. We did have some difficulty with water pressure, which made it difficult to flush the toilet at times. We also would have benefited from having instructions on using the TV with three different remotes. Instructions sent on getting into the cabin by road was also important. We managed the driveway ok, but there was quite a wash out of rocks between the cabin and the neighbors. Large cinderblocks in the road were pretty obtrusive to driving that part and turning around the curve. It was very peaceful and quiet. loved seeing the hummingbirds also.

Great weekend getaway

Lovely little cabin for my family of three. Close to Boone/blowing rock and all of its offerings, but cozy enough to enjoy evenings at home grilling and playing board games and slow mornings watching the cows in the meadow below the deck.

Great location!

Our family had a lovely time here this summer! We were in town to bring our kids to Tweetsie and visit Boone and Blowing Rock, and this was the perfect location to do that. It’s also more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We loved how the kids room was set up with the bunk beds!

Even though the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy outdoors, we had a great time in this small cabin which was perfect for a family of 3. Beautifully decorated with all the facilities needed for a vacation. Thanks for letting us stay.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

Great little cabin in the mountains. I gave a 5 star rating for accuracy of listing, but only because I feel like the owner has understated how great this place is. My kids loved the kids room and board games. The elevation on the mountain was high enough that it snowed the whole weekend even though there was only a slight chance in town. The views were beautiful and bird watching on the porch was nice. They provide bird food. Definitely read the specific instructions to find the cabin. In the dark it was hard to see the first rd to the right by the fence. gps takes you up the hill to a different one. Make sure you have an AWD vehicle for winter months. Temps dropped fast and it can get slippery Be careful if you are going down stair to the basement at all. They are carpeted stairs and a few steps need to be tacked down. My husband slipped a few times but caught himself before falling. I was not as lucky and fell on my butt when going down to do laundry. Overall this was a quaint little cabin. The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything you would need make awesome meals in. The local attractions were very close by. All under 30 mins. We will definitely be back and stay here again

Peaceful Getaway

This home was very cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. Very clean and conveniently located close to BRP. The view was nice and the deck had comfortable chairs to sit. The owners left birdseed for us to fill bird feeders and we absolutely loved seeing all the birds that came. I would definitely recommend this property.
