Luxury Condo at Crystal Cove Saint Thomas USVI Sleeps 5

Sugar Sands Villa is located next to Turquoise waters and warm ocean breezes. Our villa is in a gated community offering a saltwater pool, 2 tennis courts, and great live music in the air from a near by bar on the beach. Our beautiful sleeps 5. The property faces the water and lets you leave your worries behind, left to enjoy the tranquil sounds of the waves hitting the beach while reading a book or enjoying the ocean breeze. Our condo includes all cooking supplies you need to create a nice meal including a charcoal bbq outside for use. We are on the lower level with a ramp to the front door, so access is easy for all ages. A back patio offers extra space to sit and read while enjoying the wildlife on Island time. This villa sleeps 5 comfortably with one queen, one queen sofa bed, and one day bed. On occasion power on the island can go out. We do have some candles and flashlights for out guests. Along with games and books to pass the time.

Red Hook bay is a five minute drive for groceries at Moe's offering a gourmet deli, produce, and Beverages.There are other great dining options such as Hookd, Duffy’s, Tap and Still, and a great local pizza shop.

Meghans bay is a 10 minute drive and the Ferry to St. John is in Red Hook (5 minute drive) including a Car Ferry to drive over and enjoy the day shopping, Trunks Bay or trying some of their amazing dining options.

Cost U-Less is a 10 minute drive for more bulk grocery options.

Our condo supplies linens and towels as well as wifi and air conditioning and cable-ready to login to your Hulu or Netflix account.

The beach is but a 1 minute walk to the sand.

Sugar Sands is a 20 minute drive from the airport and a rental car is suggested but not necessary if you plan to just sit by the beach and relax.

There are two restaurants nearby. The Sapphire Beach Bar is right on the beach where you can order from a full bar and get items like burgers, hotdogs, and fish tacos.(Full Moon Parties are a particularly good time!)
Or within a short walk is Sudi’s Restaurant.(It also has a pool on site where you can take a dip and wait for your order)

Sapphire Beach is great for families!
The beach has several Sea Grape Trees for shade. The bay waters are typically quit calm providing a safe place for kids to splash and play. Adventure and swim with turtles and bat rays if you are lucky!

The beach also offers rental gear from noodles to float, snorkel gear, and kayaks.

Never Again
The property is listed as "Luxury". It is far from that. Driveway and parking lot pavement is broken. Unit is old, rundown, and it was not clean. Mold and mildew in the unit. So-called patio is dirty, fence falling down. Coded door locks difficult to use. TV did not work except for Netflix and Prime. Other little things, like wrong size coffee filters.

Perfect Location on Sapphire Beach
As we look back on a great week of vacation, the condo helped to make it a pleasant stay. We arrived a couple of hours early to see if the condo was available to find the previous renters just vacated and the place was a wreck. I quick phone call to Christian and the caretaker-Norma was there within 45 minutes. And what she did to the place while we had lunch, was amazing, she's amazing!! So what could have been a big initial disappointment turned our great and set the tone for the week! Before Norma left, she said if you need laundry done, call me and she would take care of it (towels, bedding, etc.) The condo was well supplied with everything you could want from kitchen utensils, glasses and plates, cookware to books, games and beach essentials. The furnishings were nice and the three beds were comfy. The condo has great views of the beach and beyond and was a quick 1 minute walk to the beach that even had complimentary beach loungers. Sapphire Beach if a great location on the east end of the island and is within 20 mins to Magen's Bay and less into Red Hook shopping and dining. We would stay at this condo again in the future!

Paradise
This is our second year staying in Crystal Cove. It is a hidden gem. We love everything about this place. The grounds are beautiful and swimming with sea turtles is icing on the cake. It is a great location with everything we need just a short drive away. We had 2 condos with 8 people in our party and everyone was highly satisfied. We will be returning next year.

We loved our stay at Sugar Sand! Everything was wonderful. Great location and beautiful beach. Condo had everything we could need. The only thing I can think of to critique would be we could've used a few more beach towels but not a huge deal! Would absolutely rent here again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place!

Great Location
We arrived late due to flight delays, the property felt safe to walk into after dark. Ms. Norma was incredible. She made sure we had everything we needed for a stress free stay. When she stopped to check on our stay the first morning we were there, we let her know some lights were not working with the switches. Ms Norma checked the breaker box and when that didn’t fix the issue she said the lights would be on soon. She wasn’t kidding! By the time we came to the room from the beach for lunch the lights were working. Plenty of hot water for all three of us to shower without an issue. Several places to eat within walking distance. Chair service at the beach and all of the equipment/ supplies needed in the unit. Great family time!

Great place to stay
This place was very nice to stay at, looks like it was freshly remodeled. The only thing was the hot water was not working properly when we first got there, but the host had someone out there and it worked the rest of the trip. Great stay!

Great beach escape
The property certainly was as described and had everything you could possibly need already in the Condo for a great beach escape making for a nice stay. The three of us thought the accommodations were more than adequate to suit our needs, and being so close to the beautiful sandy beach was just what we had hoped for.

Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach is the place to be and this condo was a great set up for our family. We had our three young adults with us and they had individual beds available while parents had the room to themselves. Kitchen was a huge plus for cooking and eating our leftovers, with ample counter space and seating, we even used the grill in the back. Plenty of closet space, though no drawers in the bedroom, but plenty in the main living area. Norma was great and easy to connect with on site when we needed anything or had questions. Washing was $6 per small load and same for a 20min dryer - heads up on that. Evening use is best if you absolutely need to wash or dry. Beach access is amazing and there is plenty of food and drink options along the beach and adjacent property. Moe’s is in near by Red Hook and you can pick up anything you need there, including drinking water. Ceiling fans and AC unit kept us plenty cool though we often took cold showers because the tankless water heater was not kicking in (showered at varying times with same results). Overall, this was a great condo in the perfect location and we would happily stay again. I could see they had child safety in place and a high chair and playpens available for families with young children as well.

The best place for home away from home on vacation. This place has everything that you need!!!!!!
The locals are welcoming, the beach is blue, the local wildlife is friendly, and snorkling and scuba diving in this area has the best captains and mates. This whole week was exactly what our family needed. The condo was the perfect size for my family!!!!

Steps to Sugar Sands
Nice condo just steps from the beach. The condo was well equipped. Property has a restaurant, bar, pizza , coffee shop and a gift shop. There are plenty of beach towels , snorkel gear and stuff. The condo is air conditioned. . it is on the nice quiet and beautiful Sapphire beach. This location is very close to Town and the ferry . The only down side is the hot water situation

Lovely Condo and Great Access to one of the best Beaches on St. Thomas
This was our first time visiting the USVI and after a few days of exploring, we realized that Sapphire Beach was one of the best beaches on the island! Easy access to food and drinks was a huge plus and it felt like "the place to be". We loved being within a min walk of the condo. The Crystal Cove staff were all friendly and helpful. We used the laundry room near the office halfway through our stay which really helped. The condo was clean and the large kitchen was wonderful as we were able to save some money and cook our breakfasts and few dinners ourselves. The host provided beach towels which was a nice feature so that we could save our quick-dry towels for traveling to other parts of the island. Would highly recommend for an affordable place to stay with close access to a great beach and within a short distance to the ferry.

No communication from owner prior to arrival. Had to go to front desk and they were no help. Luckily a lady staying in one of the other rentals new how to contact the owner. Once in the rental it was not very clean. There was hair in the bathroom sinks, hair in both showers (so gross), stains on the couches and decorative pillows. Trying to take a shower was a complete joke. It took until the 3rd day to figure out the hot water heater and even then it only worked in the master bathroom for small periods of time. The third morning we woke up to a cockroach on the kitchen counter. I was so disgusted. We did not cook or use any appliances during our stay here. We used the fridge for water, soda & wine. All meals were ate out. I refused to cook or eat in this kitchen. The only thing nice about this property is the beach. That’s it. The beach is amazing. The rental was absolutely disgusting. To say we were disappointed is an understatement

Nicest condo at Crystal Cove.
I have stayed at 4 different condos in this complex over the years, all decent, but this one is the nicest, cleanest and most modern. Great host. Set you up for success and then let you to vacation in peace. Family friendly too with games and beach equipment.

Great location
The property is located just steps from Sapphire Beach in a gated community. It is less than a 5 min drive to Red Hook and the ferry and about 30 minutes from the airport. There is ample space for a family, but sleeping 5 is a bit tighter than 4. Both bathrooms are roomy, as is the master bedroom. The condo is well equipped. You can walk to the Beach bar and pizzeria in less than 5 minutes down the beach. The owner was quick to respond and even offer suggestions.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Condo was updated, beautiful, clean and the perfect location just steps to the beach. We will absolutely stay here any time we vaca in St. Thomas and highly recommend it. Norma was very helpful, friendly and made our stay that much better. Christian, the owner of the condo was easy to get in touch with, answering messages promptly. Can't wait for our next trip back!

Anniversary Stay
Had a great time. Next time I will be closer to beach. The beach had an enormous amount of seahasuum on the beach. They did a good job cleaning it up but it would’ve back heavy in the afternoon. Best beaches to avoid the grass is Cowpet, Megan’s and Brewers. The unit is nice. No real TV. No washer and or dryer and very warm at times. Overall we were never in the room until we slept so it was good. Thank you so much for your opportunity to stay and enjoy your unit. We loved the Roster wake up call every morning.

Good location
The property has good location, peacefull. 3 min drive from Red Hook Plaza, Water Island, RH Dive club, RH shops. Good parking and gated comunity. Beach is good to snorkel, swim, play, but our kids liked Magen's Bay Beach more. Couple of things I would add in the property are curtains which block lights from outside lighting at night since one of the beds stands right next to the windows, and a bit better dishwasher. The one in the property did not wash dishes well, I had to re-wash all the dishes by hand. It is not big deal though. Overall very good place to stay with two kids. Thank you for letting us stay in your condo.
