Could’ve been better
I had high expectations because the rating was a 10 but there were a few issues. In the kitchen there were crumbs on the counter and 2 of the coffee mugs were dirty and there was dog hair on the sheets which led me to believe the unit had not been cleaned. Small issues that I could overlook once host explained but the major issue was the bathroom. The toilet appeared to not have been cleaned as the bowl was brown (from the rust I later discovered) and then I looked in the shower and the floor and some areas on the wall were orange. The showerhead had alot of rust and the tubing was completely orange. So I turned on the shower and put some water in a glass and it was murky. After messaging the host she stated that they have well water and to run it for a bit and it would clear up. It did clear up somewhat but it was not stated in the listing that they had well water. The host said it was in the guide. I never saw or found such guide. It should be listed in the main page clearly visible. The water had a very strong rust smell and I was also concerned with bacteria since it’s well water. The host offered alternatives but we had a family function the next day so we had no choice but to stay. We did leave a day early and are going to be refunded for one night stay.
