Modern Riverfront Property on Northeast Cape Fear River

Beautiful Riverfront property located on the Northeast Cape Fear River!

Kick back, unwind and reconnect at our modern country style home that is in Burgaw, North Carolina looking over the Northeast Cape Fear River. Located about 36 mins from Wilmington, North Carolina.

The Space:
Inside the home you will find all you need to feel at home. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and all the pots, pans and utensils need to make all basic meals. Has a little dinning area with a table that seats 4 people and bar area that will seat 2 people. Laundry room with working washer and dryer. Master bedroom features a queen size bed, closet area and a full-size bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom features a queen size bed, a twin over a full-size bunk bed and a full-size bathroom with a shower.

Outside the property features an extensive decking area where you can fish off the deck. Also has an area where you can clean your fish. Nice pergola area to sit and enjoy the water and all the boats passing by. Guest is welcome to bring a boat the bottom deck is set up to have one boat tied up. There are 2 boat ramp access mins away from the house. We do offer two grill options, Pit Boss electric grill or a charcoal grill.

All linens and towels are provided.

NOTE: It has a very outdoorsy feel. You’re likely to see squirrels, birds, turkeys, deer and maybe even a fox. Summer times are usually full of bugs – and they might find themselves inside your home. Cobwebs can appear overnight. For those weary of the great outdoors or nature’s creatures, this place is not for you. We do our best to keep the property sprayed and treated whenever possible.

**Limited cell service (We have Verizon and get 2 bars)
**No internet services
**Stairs and High Deck
**Located off the highway down a dirt road nestled in the woods
**If wildlife, nature, and bugs are not your style this would not be a good choice for renting

For security purposes ONLY - we have a camera facing the driveway and we also have added a video doorbell to help ensure all rules are being followed.


We do not provide fishing poles so plan accordingly if you are going to fish.

Weekend getaway

While the long gravel road leading to gives some eerie vibes, once you pull into the driveway it all melts away into bliss! The house is absolutely beautiful and well stocked! If you’re looking to work or be on your phone the entire time you’re here, this may not be the place for you. Reception is spotty. However, if you’re looking for peace, fishing, and the beach within close proximity- this is it!

Ideal spot for a group by the river!

My family & some friends stayed for the weekend and our crew LOVED this house! It was a beautiful, peaceful location with lots of room. There were plenty of amenities and everything was clean and well stocked. We also enjoyed some of the fun "extras" the house had to offer like the complimentary snacks in the kitchen & the hammock & dart board under the house. One of my friends kept saying how this was her dream house! It is also about 40 minutes from Wrightsville Beach which was a great distance for a day trip. One of the only possible drawbacks is the house is not handicapped accessible because of all the stairs. All of us have no physical disabilities so it wasn't a problem for us but those who have difficulty with stairs should be aware of the challenge. I would 100% recommend & would stay again!

Four Days of Amazing

Our stay at the cabin was the best experience we have had through VRBO. We take VRBO trips often and this has been the best stay we have ever had. All of the amenities advertised were beyond what we expected. There was nothing left to be desired as the property had everything. The outdoor space is a fisherman’s dream. The ability to fish from the deck and clean the fish right there on the fish cleaning station was super convenient. The Pitt Boss pellet smoker allowed me to cook delicious meals for my family and fish at the same time. The living space was cozy and allowed me and my family to relax after the days activities. Brandi was extremely responsive in communicating with us if we needed anything. I can’t say enough good things about this stay and everything we experienced. It was perfect.
