Twigs is a much-loved renovated cabin nestled in the thickest part of the forest close to Caves Road only 5 mins from Margaret River town and world-class surf beaches. Often visited by kangaroos, possums, wrens, cockatoos, owls, lizards and sometimes cute micro bats at dusk. Rustic Luxe with vintage furnishings, Smeg appliances, fine linen and towels. Twigs is a unique haven retreat to relax, unwind and base your sightseeing from, offering local products to try with many convenient essentials.

The Space

Rustic, luxe, vintage, charming and relaxing with natural beauty surrounds. A truly unique retreat that rejuvenates the soul. Open plan cabin living with kitchenette and 'famous' dining table that was used in the Tim Winton movie 'Cloudstreet'. Twigs Cabin has a massive loft space with luxury king bed, couch and coffee table, aircon and clothes storage. Downstairs is a large bathroom with a vintage claw foot bath/shower, vanity and jarrah floorboards and storage. The cabin offers a sofa-bed downstairs for additional sleeping arrangement. During the day this bed is used as couch.

Twigs was built next to the hosts home over 20 yrs ago from some wood on the property milled onsite. Proximity is convenient when needed but the cabin is like being in a world of your own with strict privacy ensured and new Starlink Satellite internet so if you do need to work a little or stay connected socially then you have high speed at your service.

Other Things to Note:

SAFETY
The loft bedroom access is with a steep but very sturdy ladder with rails. Therefore we advise the loft ladder access is not suitable for young children, pregnant women, the frail, elderly, disabled or injured. There is an extra sofa bed on the ground floor in the living room to accommodate those guests at your own discretion.

SOFA- BED

The second bed is a sofa bed and is located in the living room. During the day this sofa bed is used as the couch.

DOGS
We love animals and are small dog friendly but there are some guidelines:

only 1 dog at a time and they must be house trained - any damage will be charged to the guest

dogs are strictly not allowed on the furniture, bedding, handmade blankets or the leather couch. Please bring your own pet beds and blankets for your pet - they will likely prefer them anyway.

please pick up their litter and place in red bin (unless it is deep in the bush). We have our own and guests’ kids running around and we all need to respect the space for everyone enjoying it.

please be aware there are many large kangaroos, often with joeys, that frequent our property and they are not scared. If a dog confronts them it can be very dangerous and fatal if the kangaroo decides to defend. Your dog is your own responsibility so please be careful as it would be very upsetting for everyone if anything happens to them.

possums and their babies also frequent our area and dogs are in no way allowed to approach or chase them. Please be vigilant.

Linen: linen is included in your stay.

Cleaning Fee: While we charge a cleaning fee, we still expect our guests to leave the house in a neat & tidy condition on departure and follow our check-out instructions including washing all dishes and removing rubbish to outside bins etc.
