Steps to the beach!
Great location, close to the airport, easy to get around when you rent a car. Beach is beautiful, you can hear the waves when you sit on the porch. Quick response with any issues.

Good place at Exuma
The villa has everything a family could need. It's within walking distance to the beach and just a 15-minute drive from George Town. The decor is picturesque yet beach-inspired, and the appliances are new and functional. We really enjoyed our time there!

We felt at home in the house. Communication with host and property manager was very easy and quick. One of the A/C stopped working and it was changed in less than 24 hours! We will be back, for sure!

Perfect spot
The house has everything you need and is in the perfect spot. A super quick walk to the beach and perfect location to be able to go explore either north or south on the island. Perfect Place
The property was great, had everything we needed. The house made you feel like you were at home on the island. Location was perfect, no matter where you went. We are already talking about coming back next year with our adult daughter and friend. Terrelle made things easy and responded to any concern pronto. Ideal amenities
We loved the property. It was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. We had no issues with bugs or critters in the dwelling. This is a great place for a couple with a child or two, maybe two couples. The beach is very close and accessible via a path across from the house. We did have a guest in the property across from us come out and stare us down as if we had no right to walk down the edge of the property to access the public beach. Some people! Highly recommend this house for the location as well.

Beautiful home on a beautiful beach close to the airport
Highland House is a wonderful place to stay in Great Exuma. The beach is stunning. First 3 days were at the beach, and the last 3 days were on a boat rental with Minn's Rentals. Terrelle was a great property manager, very good communication throughout. The only (minor) hiccups were a broken laundry dryer for the trip and the bedroom A/C unit broke for the last two nights. Even still, I would book Highland House again!

Perfect spot, Safe, and Comfortable
Stayed in Exuma for a week with my wife and young kids (3 and 6). This house was centrally located so we could drive to either end of the island easily and it was just a short drive away from the grocery stores. Felt incredibly safe in this location and had easy access to a great beach. Really loved our time on the island. The house is really unique and the property manager is incredibly prompt to address any questions you have.

Amazing Vaca at Highland House
Exumas is amazing! Highland House delivered as promised. Very comfortable house to hang out at inside as well as outside. Coffee on deck in morning then 1 minute walk to the most gorgeous beach. Outdoor shower added to the great experience. Terrelle was very responsive to our 2 issues which he resolved. Highland House may just be our best find! Book it you’ll be happy you did.

Was a nice quiet stay at the highland house. Terrell our house manager was more then accommodating with any issues or concerns we had through out the trip. He was a great resource and was always available when we needed him. Exuma is a great island with great people.

Great stay at Highland House
Great property centrally located on a fantastic beach! We had a great time exploring both Great Exuma and Little Exuma. If you’re headed to the island, you have to check out Tropic of Cancer Beach, Hooper Bay, Jolly Hall, Pretty Molly Bay, and Forbes Hill. Rent a boat or book an excursion to explore Stocking Island and the sandbar. So many beautiful beaches to visit, it’s hard to fit them all into one vacation.

Property exactly as pictured & walk to the amazing beach… 2 minutes. We refer to it as our backyard Terrelle, the property onsite mgr is attentive, responsive & goes above & beyond- and very brave, he heroically & humanely manually moved a developing wasp nest that was on our outside drying line House has everything you need & more. The outdoor shower for washing off salt & sand is wonderful. Great shower head & pressure. The full house generator was a YES to me when looking for a house rental. Thank you property owners for buying the best

Perfect Beach House
So grateful for our 10 day stay at The Highland House. Perfect central location on the island close to groceries, fuel, the airport and beaches. Literally every amenity to make you feel at home; especially in the kitchen. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and the most perfect white sand beach 30 steps away. Perfection in every way. INCREDIBLE LOCATION. Jimmy Hill beach is in the center of all good beaches. The house is a few steps from the water, house is super clean and unique. It has everything u need to Cook. We bought groceries and cooked everyday. Eugene is a jewel, great communication! Eugene recommend to rent a car from his friend Paul and his car was so Helpful. Paul also took great care of us! Exuma is unbelievable. We will come back!

A Beautiful Stay in Paradise
Highland House is a lovely house located a 2 min walk to the beach. It is beautifully decorated with many thoughtful touches such as a wide variety of books, board games, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Terrelle the house manager is extremely responsive, responding to any questions or concerns within minutes. We were concerned that the proximity to the airport may be disturbing but we did not notice any noise as there a very few flights coming and going. In fact the house is very centrally located allowing you easy access to all areas of the island, especially Georgetown for groceries. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon.

Amazing house and vacation!!
We were extremely pleased and enjoyed every moment of our 12 night stay at this wonderful charming property. Highland House was exactly as described and pictured. A lot of time and effort has been put into the decoration and creating a lovely Caribbean vibe. The house had everything we needed including a great kitchen, utensils, great air conditioning throughout the house , beach chairs and swim accessories, which were very helpful for both at the property and to take with us to other beaches. There is a nice ocean-view from the deck….but even better…..it is less than a 60 second walk down to the amazing 3 mile long Jimmy Hill beach with the most perfect beautiful ever changing aqua blue water I’ve ever seen. It was perfect for morning and daily swimming, sometimes very calm and other times a few waves, a bit windy but very swimmable. We explored the entire island and went to all the best beaches. Each one usually better than the other but ultimately the most convenient and relaxing was the one right out front which is exactly what we wanted. We went in Aug, the low season so virtually had everything on the island to ourselves, which was fine with us. If Highland House is available during your dates of travel don’t hesitate and book ASAP as I believe it is the best priced House with every amenity right next to the beach. Put it this way, the houses 200 feet across on the beach average $400 to $500 more a night, So just off the beach Was a fabulous saving. We met others who are paying the same or more to stay in hotel rooms in Georgetown where the beaches are not as nice. The owner Eugene was very responsive and helpful as well as the property manager Terrelle Who was always on hand and available if we need him but I must say because everything was just so good…. We really didn’t need to bother him. Exuma is beautiful and very laid back island. It’s really a place for going to the beach and just relaxing. There’s not a lot of other things to do, few restaurants really not a nightlife island, which was fine for our family. We did the fish fry and Santana's in little Exuma but mostly we cooked/bbq at the house most nights. Do… rent a car. Do… Rent a boat for the day at Minns Marina. So much fun exploring Elizabeth harbor and the sand bar. Don’t pass this up….Book this house now……you won’t be disappointed. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed our stay here immensely and will be back!
