Perfect Family Gathering
My family drove from several other states to gather for Christmas in Canon City. This home was beautiful and perfect for our families . The yard was nice for the kids to play and sleeping accommodates were great. Karen was extremely helpful and great communication. She personalized our stay to make everyone feel comfortable and at home - away from home. Highly recommend this property.

The house is beautiful and the hosts were attentive. They gifted us fresh cantaloupe the first morning we were there - a sweet gesture, and it was delicious! My only suggestion is to remove the swings since the kids can't play on them and it's a big temptation for the little ones.

This was a very clean and comfortable house! Well stocked with kitchen basics. Easy to check in and great communication with the host! The beds were very comfortable for my husband and myself. Our daughter and son in law and their two kids loved the upstairs.

I rented this home for my family over a long weekend. It was PERFECT for us. We loved the place! It was comfortable and clean. We cooked and had a BBQ in the yard. The owner was great to work with. We will definitely be renting this place again when back in town!

Very lovely and cozy home. It appears newly renovated. It was clean and well kept. Nice and relaxing backyard area. Neighborhood was nice and home was close to a Main Street. Communication with the property manager was great. Very prompt to reply. We had a great time.

What a gem!
My family recently stayed at The Bees -n- Bear Den. There were 9 in our group, ranging in age from 7 to 75, and the house provided plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was very well equipped. All of the beds were very comfortable. The master bath shower was to die for. I wanted to pack it up in my suitcase and bring it home. The backyard was perfect for my 7 and 8 year olds to run around and get some energy out. The location was prefect. The house sits at the top of a hill and affords great views of wildlife. All of my kids loved looking at the many deer out the front and side windows every morning. There was even a very nice park less than a mile from the house. If you are planning a trip to Canon City, you couldn't find a better place to stay than this one.

Weekend Getaway
What a great stay! We gathered for the weekend to celebrate our mother. We were a group of 8 adults. The house had plenty of bedrooms and gathering spaces (inside and outside) and a well-equipped kitchen. The space was clean and had plenty of supplies. Karen and Dan are terrific hosts. We hope to come back next year.

This property is immaculate! Details were anticipated for every need from laundry, to snacks, and all things comfort. Indoor and outdoor games. EXCELLENT hosts. The best item? A vending machine in the laundry room full of fresh snacks. In addition to a welcome bag of treats age appropriate. If in the area, be sure to stay at the Bee and the Bear! Best Lodging we have ever experienced

Delightful Stay in Canon City
My wife and I enjoyed our short stay in Canon City. The house was very comfortable , located very close to the downtown section, and the person who oversaw the home was very quick in returning our inquiries. The bed in the Master Bedroom was extremely comfortable. There was plenty of parking space in the driveway. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. It was a short hike to the river walk. What else could you ask for in a home away from home?

Absolutely beautiful home
From the moment we walked in to the fresh baked cookies and bread until we had to leave, this was without a doubt one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Clean beyond clean. Every room was inviting and warm. The decor was beautiful. All kitchen appliances updated and very nice. I did text with the property contact. They were quick with their response.
