DuPont State Forest - Chalet à distance de marche

Niché sur 16 acres privés, cette cabine est idéalement situé à côté de la Corn Mill Shoals stationnement dans DuPont State Forest, juste à l'extérieur de la ligne de propriété de la forêt. L'emplacement de l'habitacle est parfait pour ceux qui souhaitent faire du vélo de montagne ou à cheval dans la forêt, ainsi que les randonneurs qui souhaitent explorer et profiter des belles chutes d'eau. Cette cabane en rondins de luxe est nommé avec tous les meubles nécessaires pour se détendre et profiter de vos vacances. Le mobilier est localement faite de caryer pour compléter l'extérieur rustique de la cabine. Les matelas dans les deux chambres en bas (1 roi, 1 Queen) sont des matelas Tempur, et les draps de lit sont haut de gamme. La salle de bains principale dispose d'un jacuzzi surdimensionné, et toutes les chambres disposent d'une télévision w / service fourni par Direct TV. WiFi est également disponible.

La cabine est entourée d'un grand wrap-around pont avec un grand banc intégré, une grande table à manger en plein air, et beaucoup de chaises berçantes et des chaises Adirondack. Le porche possède des chaises à bascule, ainsi qu'une balançoire. Un gril à charbon, une réserve de bois de chauffage et un foyer avec un grand chaudron Cowboy sont également fournis.

Absolutely gorgeous! Lots of privacy and beauty and close to many trails and waterfalls. We enjoyed the Cedar Mountain Cafe and a short trip into nearby Brevard. Highly recommend!

We were picking up kids from summer camp and enjoyed a few extra days in the area. The property was clean, comfy beds, great outdoor furniture - rockers, dining table and chairs, fire pit with Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location
If you’re looking to stay near DuPont State forest, this is the best location you’ll likely find. Also easy to get to Brevard. The home was clean and tucked away. My sons and I loved our stay and would stay in this home again.

Beautiful Cabin
The property and cabin were absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and the loft was perfect for our two children staying here! A few things I would recommend be changed/fixed: there were a few big potholes in the gravel road leading to the property that were hard to see since you are going up most of the way. There were also no lighters or matches and there was a fire pit outside and a fireplace inside. Luckily we had someone who had one on them or we wouldn’t have been able to start a fire. The ice maker on the fridge was not working properly and the sink in the kitchen leaked. We had the gate open the entire trip and we came back late one night from a wedding and the gate was shut with a chain wrapped around it. We were pretty freaked out, especially when we got up to the cabin and all the lights were on inside. We contacted property management and they said the caretaker had been up there to restock wood. It would’ve been nice to know that before we got home in the pitch black and had to reopen the gate and check to make sure there wasn’t anyone inside. Other than that though, we really did have an amazing stay and I will definitely be staying here again!!

Month in the mountains
We spent the month of September in Cedar Mountain and the house was very nice. The deck ran all the way around the house and was very private and lovely. The property manager was very accessible and helpful. The house was very comfortable as was the furniture and bedding. Dupont Forest was wonderful and a short drive away for lovely hikes and waterfalls. Brevard was 20 min down the mountain for anything you might need. We had a great time and loved not being in S Florida for the hottest month of the year. Our only disappointment was not seeing a bear, but we may have been just lucky instead.

Beautiful Cabin, great location.
My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cabin. It was exactly as described, very clean and in a great location to explore the mountains. The only thing I would caution is that the wifi is not fast nor reliable. I was working from 'home' during this stay and I was often not able to join Zoom calls or I would get kicked out. The property manager was very helpful during this including sending someone from the local internet company AND upgrading their service. I cannot stress enough how great the communication was with the property manager and the willingness to help my situation. The problem is that area is still working on old DSL service and seems cannot handle current wifi needs. All that aside, we would return for a true vacation.

This property is in a great location. Secluded and very quiet. Easy to get to Brevard and Hendersonville. This trip was to celebrate my sons 8th birthday. We had a great time and will definitely be back. He has already asked to come back for his 9th birthday. Great communication with the owner as well. Always was quick to respond. Thank you for everything! You have a beautiful place.

Well equipped and perfect location at Dupont
Professional host. House interior was spotless. Comfortable furnishings and beds. There is no phone signal, but the WiFi is functional. This is a very private and peaceful property, we had no issues with loud music like some of the previous reviewers posted. The location is ideal for adventures in Dupont, you are a 3 minute bike ride to the Corn Mill Shoals parking area, and 15 minute drive to the Hub in Brevard. Plenty of parking and the driveway is not too steep. The only nitpicky comments to be made is that the water pressure is low, and the outdoor furnishings would benefit from a pressure washing. Those very minor items were completely overshadowed by the overall quality and location of this property. Highly recommended.

Ideal Dupont Location
The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The deck and firepit area were also nice hangout spots. The location was ideal for us as we were able to head out on some hikes and mountain bike rides straight from the house, and it was only a short drive to other trailheads. Early spring is a beautiful time to be in the mountains!
