Landmark victorienne Accueil

Le Davis Ferme victorienne est 1892 la maison historique. Il est situé dans la belle Glen Ellyn, connue pour son centre-ville pittoresque et maisons d'époque. USA Today a choisi Glen Ellyn comme ville pittoresque de l'Illinois pour cette raison. La Maison Davis est situé sur un cul-de-sac très calme. En retrait de Davis terrasse, son jardin devant ajoute à la grandeur de cette belle maison. Étapes de Babcock Grove Park ainsi que le lac Ellyn Park.

La maison possède de nombreuses caractéristiques originales et dispose de toutes planchers de bois franc à l'étage principal. Dans la salle familiale, vous trouverez la cheminée et une grande télévision à écran plasma avec son surround. La maison est nichée au milieu de grands arbres et de beaux jardins ... vraiment un endroit merveilleux pour se sentir chez soi tout en visitant l'historique Glen Ellyn et les villes voisines ainsi que Chicago et tout ce qu'il a à offrir. Avec notre station de métro Metra à 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville, Chicago est accessible en 30 minutes à peine!
Se il vous plaît noter: Par Glen Ellyn Village ordinace, usage familial unique. Pas de grands rassemblements ou des événements.

what a wonderful day stay
everything about this house was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. The family had a lot of fun. We were able to invite other family members over to visit. Amazing home. More stunning than pictures. Lots of places to gather as a group or have solitude. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood quiet and walkable. Enjoyed outdoor dining on deck, quiet porch swing mornings, happy hour toasting in the sunroom, playing the grand piano, and cozing up in the living room for a movie. 5 adult family members gathering for graduation from a graduate program at Midwestern University.. Highly recommend!

Just. Stunning.
We visited family in Glen Ellyn and adored the Davis House! William was a pleasure to work with, and the small dog decorations made us feel right at home with our 3 pugs and Lhasa apso. Outdoor fountain, jetted tub, wonderfully mature neighborhood, oh and the sun room right off the master bedroom. Thanks SO much for a stay that exceeded all expectations!

Wonderful Property and Host!
Family gathering to visit oldest son who lives in Chicago-land area. This was the perfect property for all of us (5 adults) to gather. A home with plenty of room and an abundance of charm! The neighborhood is fabulous. Quiet, peaceful and very clean. Just a few short minutes to the train into Chicago. Downtown Glen Ellyn is also very nice with some great restaurants! The house was beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable interior with an equally private patio and yard. Fantastic character inside and out. We all enjoyed our stay, absolutely a beautiful house. So very interesting to walk around and look at everything. The back deck was very nice, beautiful yard too. The neighborhood was great too. My senior citizen cousins and I stayed at the Davis house for three nights. It was LOVELY! The architecture, furnishings and amenities were even nicer than listed in the ad. The price was great, as well. William was very communicative and even left us a couple of welcome gifts. Best VRBO stay EVER! Thank you for sharing your home.

Wow! What a gem!
This property was a delight from beginning to end. It is way bigger than it looks in the pics, the beds are SO comfortable, and it is in a beautiful neighborhood walkable to a little downtown area. The kids loved exploring the beautiful yard. The kitchen was stocked like someone actually lives and cooks there, none of the sparse beat up equipment you often find in other rentals. My only caution is to make sure everyone in your party is steady on their feet. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, in the way that antique stairs are. We would love to stay again when in the area!

Outstanding!
We had an outstanding stay at the Davis House while celebrating a family wedding. William is a very kind and accommodating host! We had the pleasure to meet and speak with him on our first night there. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and feels like a museum. We had fun exploring each room. The gardens are incredibly lovely and the porch swing was so fun! The neighborhood is charming. There is a nice park two blocks away which we used to throw the football around. Easy walk to downtown too. We had absolutely no complaints and would very gladly book this house again in the future! The driveway is indeed a bit tricky but just go very very slow while backing out. Easy check-in and check-out with the house key. Don’t hesitate to book this historic property!

Spacious, Luxurious, and Elegant
This was by far the nicest place we've ever stayed. The owner has obviously put a lot of love and thought into this house. He's very helpful and responsive. We especially loved the kitchen and the master bathroom. There are a lot of quiet places to relax and hang out. The front porch and the grounds are beautiful. It's a very nice, quiet neighborhood, too.

I've always wanted to experience a real Victorian home. This was it. Just beautiful. I loved all the rooms and the modern features did not distract from the antique feel. The only problem was backing out of the drive way. The bushes, although beautiful, were a real pain to avoid. Perhaps trimming them to be even with the driveway would be a good idea.

William was a class act host from start to finish. My wife and I booked this as a place to stay after our wedding since it was close to the venue and William surprised us with a gift basket, a bottle of wine and a hand written note congratulating us. From start to finish William was communicative and made sure that all of our needs were met and went beyond to provide us such exceptional service. We will definitely stay here again when we need a place to stay in Glen Ellyn. I couldn’t imagine a better experience. Such a clean and beautiful house in a great and safe neighborhood! Pictures don’t do justice for how great this house/property is!
