Great for a large group
We were a group of 10 students who stayed there in order to participate to an academic competition at the Chico State University. The house was clean, close to campus and comfortable. We had a great time!

We booked this place primarily for the game room. When arrived, surprised to find an empty room. Contacted host, who responded promptly, to learn previous guests broke the pool table and another was on order. This should have been disclosed prior to arrival. Place is fairly nice other than the game room disappointment.

Loved the location!
We stayed for 4 days at this house. All three bedrooms have their own bathroom- which was great. The house is facing a busy street but once inside its like a little oasis. The front yard is big with grass, beautiful plants, and a big tree. Then the backyard has a large pool and grape vines with grapes. The location is awesome and only a 5-7 minute drive to downtown and the college. As a bonus its dog friendly. I definitely recommend this home when visiting Chico

This was a beautiful property with great amenities. We had to escape from the Park Fire due to Mandatory Evacuation Orders. This was the best place to try to relax while our minds were restless. Thank you so much!!!

Family reunion
We chose the hottest week to visit Chico. Luckily the air conditioner worked perfectly indoors and the pool outside was just the right temperature to cool us off. The kids had a blast. We had ten people and I’d say three bedrooms made for a tight fit. If you’re not family it would be better 6-9. We loved the place though and would cone back.

Never Stayed - Canceled me on the day I was supposed to check in - 4 hours prior to check in
I got a cancellation notice from the host on the day (May 16th) 4 hours before our check in that day. I booked this 1 year ago, paid the money in full, got a reservation receipt for the money I paid, AND received a Reservation Confirmation from VRBO on Monday, May 13th with Here are your Keys” with the Property ID, address of the house, and dates for the stay (May 16th - May 19th). As far as I knew, I had a house rented for my family for my son’s College Graduation weekend. The only way I found out I was cancelled was I sent a message to the host in the morning time asking them if they had pool towels. After this I received a cancellation message from the host. I called VRBO right away to tell them what happened on May 16th. It was a nightmare!! Finding out the DAY I have family coming from all over to stay at the house. Can you imagine if I did not message the host in the morning and we all drove there and find out the host has booked someone else!! This is so UNACCEPTABLE!! This was the weekend of Chico’s Graduation and there are no houses left to book for a family at the minute!! VRBO did not offer to help me find a new place. I asked for a Supervisor to call me - never got a call back that day. I had to spend hours finding accommodations for my family and had to pay triple the price for hotel accommodations. I had bought graduation decorations and more to bring to Chico for this. Beware!! That is all I am going to say.

Pleasant time in Chico
If available we would rate our stay at 4.5. First the positives. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating. The house is spacious, the beds were comfortable, the TV has several streaming apps including Netflix and ESPN. The pool was clean and inviting. The half point off: older home located at the corner of a noisy street, frequent sirens at all hours serving a nearby hospital.

Perfect Chico House!
Adam and Ava were extremely kind and very responsive all the way through the process. We went down to watch daughters final volleyball gam at Chico State. It was refreshing not having to worry about a hotel room and the hassles that come with it! We will definitely be renting again! House was very charming perfect Chico home

Great place for our trip to Chico
This place was well set up for accommodating multiple families. Three bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and larger common areas made it easy to spread out and have our own space while also being able to come together for meals and conversations.

This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults. It’s close to the freeway, downtown Chico and the campus. The hosts are wonderful and available if you have any questions. Our only complaint was it rained, so we didn’t use the pool.
