Perfect location for family stay

It was fantastic, we really appreciated being on the beach for enjoying the beach, the view and sunsets. Quite central location for any activities or visits around. The whole family enjoyed the stay in this lovely property, with great daily cleaning service and welcoming house manager. Only the AC needed some repair (which have v’been made during our stay) and bathroom are a little aged.

Slice of paradise

This property does not disappoint. The description and pictures are accurate. The concierge Sophie was very helpful and communicative. Our family loved the beach, the pool, and the outdoor areas for relaxing. The house is within walking distance of many great restaurants - no car or ATV needed. Enjoy the sunsets and long walks on the great beach right in front of the house.

Spring Break Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The size of the house is very comfortable for six people.Location was great and right on the beach with walking distance to restaurantsThere is excellent serve directly out in front of the property as well as a short walk down the beach. Our concierge, Sophie was very attentive to all of our needs and quick to respond. The staff did a very nice job of cleaning daily inside and out and we also hired a Cook, Edra, for a couple of days who made delicious meal.We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be back.

The Perfect Beach House

We had an amazing stay at the Beach House. The location couldn’t have been better. The beach is obviously right in front of you and the house is walking distance from restaurants and shops. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated as were the living room and outside areas. One bedroom is a bit separate from the rest which is great for privacy. We are already planning to come back

Great location and home!

We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beach trip to STCR. We have been coming to the area for 20 years and built and owned a home nearby up until a few years ago. We have stayed at many places in the area and this is one of our absolute favorites. You cannot beat the location and beach proximity. It's so wonderful to be able to chill on your porch and still see the waves. The house is far enough from the main road and part of a little community that it feels tucked away. One thing to note, which we didnt see in the description is that the 3rd bedroom has a separate entrance, so if you are traveling with kids, as we were, it may not work for you. We wound up not really using the 3rd bedroom bc of that, but it was fine. The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of room. They have done such a wonderful job with the decor. One other thing to note is although the listing says there is a washer and dryer, it is not accessible to guests, you need to hire the housekeeper to do your laundry for you. The groundskeeper and housekeeper are lovely, and Sophie the concierge is available should you need help with anything. We look forward to returning to the area and will definitely refer our friends to this home when they travel to the area, and would definitely choose it again for our next stay!

Great location.

beautiful property, great location on the beach, easy access to sites around Santa Teresa. Note that "sleeps 8" means three bedrooms each with double beds and two with single futons. cleaning and concierge services are excellent. Note that there is a full kitchen but no on-site laundry. We would definitely return.

A True Gem

Truly in the heart of Santa Teresa, each family member found things to love about this property. Our 86 year old mother enjoyed the outdoor living, and the ability to see the ocean and watch the surfers from the patio. Our 2 daughters in their early 20's love the ability to walk to nearby shops, restaurants and bars, and enjoyed lounging on the chaises in the yard. My husband loved the surf break just outside of the property, and I loved my morning yoga classes at Casa Zen--just a 5 minute beach walk from the house. Many restaurants are within walking distance--the closest being Banana Beach, right next door. They play music nightly, and hosted a New Year's Eve party that went well into the next morning! We loved the fireworks and energy (the loud music did not bother us, but it might bother others). The kitchen space is a bit minimal, and not designed for cooking extensive meals, but when we cooked in it was more than adequate. Finally, there are some nocturnal critters that did on occasion wake us in the night. Sophie, Sophia and Miguel did a fine job of making us feel at home. We plan to return!

Incredible location!!

The property was in the absolute best location, right next door to a great restaurant (banana beach) and within walking distance of many incredible shops and food. The home was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Concierge: Sophie was responsive and personable. As long as we planned ahead on things including coordinating a nanny, a crib and high chair for our baby, groceries shopping, restaurant reservations, fishing trips - she was on it! The housecleaner was also fantastic, although some of our clothing was ruined in the wash. And maintenance was fabulous as well. I must say, the pool was not in great condition. Many of the tiles were falling off or into the pool and you could not see bottom which was a little off putting. You could hear the base of banana beach restaurant at night as well. There was also a ton of wildlife around the house (cats, crabs, dogs, iguanas, monkeys, raccoons, squirrels, frogs and a mosquitos) and even in the house (spiders, crabs, and ants) so also be prepared for nature and all its glory. Overall it was a fabulous trip and a great place with great staff. A few upgrades to the pool and not having our clothes destroyed would have made it 5 stars.

Wonderful stay

Being at the beach with a pool was magical. Our family really enjoyed the home and our time here. Sereen was an incredible host. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Gorgeous views

Beautiful home right on the beach. There is a restaurant one lot over with pretty good food (more on that below). House was very clean and comfortable. We spent the majority of our time in the outdoor areas. Overall a very nice property and we would return. Pros: Very attentive property manager, assisted us with Mula rentals and dinner reservations. Grounds keeper and housecleaner were wonderful. Outdoor space is unbelievable with many lounging areas so guests can spread out. Pool is lovely with a shallow end to sit in during hot days. Private yard with beautiful landscaping. Nicely appointed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. AC in all rooms was excellent. Steps to the beach. Howler monkeys came through several mornings. Security guard at night although I’m not sure if that was good or bad…. Cons: There is construction next door, they worked seven days a week so our dream of listening to the waves crashing only came true around 5pm - but then the music from the restaurant next door started ;). The grounds keeper is there all day most days so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. He wasn’t obtrusive but we weren’t expecting that. It is a bit of a trek to get there (nothing to do with the house just a very long drive from Liberia). You need to have transportation there, we rented “Mula’s” (four-seater ATV’s) to get around. We stay almost exclusively in vacation rentals rather than hotels and this one makes our top 5 list - just ask about any construction before booking if quiet is important to you.

Outdoor Living

The Beach House was a wonderful place for our family to spend time relaxing and enjoying so many amenities. This house was special inside and outside. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The outdoor showers were new for us. However the outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable for us. Eating every meal outside was fun. The pool was a nice step out of the ocean. The lounge areas allowed each family member to find their own relaxing space to unwind or enjoy small gathering spaces. The location of this house being on beach front was especially a plus for us. It was a great week!

Great Location, Excellent support and help from staff of rental

We had a great stay at this VRBO. The property manager was very helpful. She provided excellent recommendations and support while we were there. The home has a house keeper and an outside maintenance person who both come each day to keep the home tidy and clean. The pool overlooking the ocean was a fun and relaxing escape from the tropic heat at mid day.

Perfect family & friends vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at the Beach House. The property has the best location, just few steps away from the ocean and the views are just breathtaking. Everything was well maintained and super clean. Julie, the property manager, was very helpful and kind. We had a problem with the toaster that was not working well and she immediately came to replace it. Also, she gave us very good recommendations for activities to do in Santa Teresa. My kids (12, 11 & 7) were very sad when it was time to leave. They even asked us if we could buy this house and stay there forever. We’ll definitely be back! 100% recommended for those who are looking for an unforgettable getaway.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Beach House. Julie was incredibly attentive and the house was better than described. Plenty of comfortable space outside to lounge after a day at the beach! Perfect spot for our family. Amazing all around! We’ll be back!

Bienvenue au paradis

La villa était parfaite. Tel que décrite dans l'annonce. Les photos représentent exactement ce que vous allez louer. La villa est vraiment entretenue avec soin. Nous avons eu un problème de climatisation et il a été réglé rapidement. Lee la manager, a envoyé quelqu'un pour regarder le problème dans les 15 minutes! Un service impeccable. La villa est très bien situé au bord de l'eau, vous pouvez profiter à la fois de la merveilleuse piscine ou de l'océan. Vous profiterez aussi de l'espace extérieur , canapé, table, hamac... S'est à mon sens la meilleure partie de la villa. Etre à l'extérieur, entouré de cette merveilleuse nature est juste incroyable. Merci à Vered pour avoir répondu à toutes nos questions avant le départ et à Lee quand nous étions sur place. Elle nous a aidé et conseillé sans compter et toujours avec le sourire. Vous ne regretterez pas votre séjour à la Villa Beach House!

Excellent getaway with family!

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids age 14, 11 and 9) had an amazing stay at The Beach House. The property is exactly as listed, and more. Vered communicated with me directly prior to arrival on the VRBO app, and was quick to respond to all of my questions. Lee was the caretaker/concierge who introduced herself via WhatsApp once we arrived in Costa Rica, and responded to me usually within minutes. The property is immaculate, and felt very luxurious. It was very hot while we were there, and the A/C was welcome after some time in the sun. The water cooler is a nice bonus, but I would recommend a mat of some sort in front of it as the tile is slick if it gets wet at all and I did slip and fall while there (my fault). Maria was the housekeeper who came in each morning and was friendly and helpful. She does not speak English but it was not a problem at all with Google translate. Mauricio tends the pool and house maintenance, is super friendly and again, quick to fix anything - we had a toilet that was not working and he was at the property to fix it within 5-10 minutes. The afternoon before we left the entire street lost water, and Lee and Mauricio were there problem solving and making a plan for the house if they couldn't get it back on, and communicated that well to us. We did get water back, later that afternoon/early evening. We had been at the beach or in the pool all day and it did not disrupt. There was a security guard stationed right outside the property on the private street, and it helped us feel very safe. In the evening if I was out on the patio late reading, it felt completely safe. Banana Beach is right next door, I would say American prices but delicious food. Surfboard, boogie board and rash guard rentals there also. The only thing I would change (and it is so minor) is the lighting at night facing the beach. We had multiple people approach the home thinking it was a restaurant because of the lighting. Not a big deal and the lighting wasn't bad sitting on the patio, it just seemed to attract passerby. The pool was wonderful and so clean. The tray of fresh fruit and bottle of wine upon arrival was also a nice touch. Well done. We didn't want to leave and hope to return soon!

Wonderful property and location

We had a fabulous time renting this home. House was in great condition. The house manager was easy to communicate with and had excellent recommends when we needed them. 4wd vehicle was helpful for the roads around Santa Teresa during the rainy season and for doing day trips. Would love to rent again!
