Blue Marlin - Ocean Front Condo

Adorable and cozy oceanfront condo with all the essentials! This charming upstairs cottage has a full kitchen and eating area with beachy decor! It has a nice size living room with a Fold out Futon Couch and bedroom with a Queen sized bed. Direct Beach access is right outside the front door, literally just steps away! Downtown Cocoa Beach is just minutes away where you will have lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy!

Guests can use the entire space. Only one car allowed but you can add a 2nd car across the street with a beach parking toll of $10 per day.

SAFETY FIRST:

We follow a five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on a cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts.

Here are a few highlights:

* We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
* We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and
we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
* We refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room
* We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
* We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning
guidelines

The HOA does not allow lockboxes or electronic keypads on the doors so the keys are kept offsite in a lockbox by our office.

You must be 25 yrs of age or older to rent this condo.
HOUSE RULES:
1. All Communication must be through the chat feature of the booking app.
2. Due to a health hazard to the owners and others who manage this property, this property is not Pet Friendly. DO NOT bring any type of animal
3. Primary Guests must be 21 years of age or older to rent this property.
4. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. Any guest that has a will be asked to leave without a refund. ANY Parties will result in a minimum fine of $500.
5. Absolutely NO SMOKING is allowed on the property including Vapes, Marijuana, and Tobacco. Smoking will result in a $250 fine.
6. Quiet time from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am (even on weekends, no loud music or any loud noise during quiet time)
7. Checkout is at 10:00 am. Check-In Time 3:00 PM
8. There is a lost key fee of $50 for any key that's lost and not recoverable.
9. No Refunds on reservations canceled due to a violation of our House Rules

REPAIRS:
We do our best to provide each guest with the best vacation experience possible. However, just like in your home back home, sometimes issues might occur that require attention. Some issues do not interrupt nor disturb your stay and can be dealt with once your vacation is over. Other issues will require immediate attention and must be reported as soon as they occur.

The time to report them is NOT upon or after checkout of a multiple-night stay as there will be no compensation in those instances because we will consider them livable according to your standards. If you are experiencing a stay-altering issue with the property, we will get you moved to a different location immediately. Clear and Concise Communication is paramount.

Checkout Instructions:

Thank you for staying at our Vacation Rental.
Before you go, we have a few things we ask you to do:

1. When you leave, lock the door and return the key to the lockbox. Don't forget to scramble the code and close the cover to help us protect the box.

2. The checkout time is at 10 AM. Please be courteous and be out by then so housekeeping can get started.

3. Be sure to check under the bed for any belongings you might have left behind, and log out of your Netflix or any other streaming services you may have used.

4. Turn off all overhead lights and set the A/C thermostat to 77 degrees.

5. Please strip any beds that were slept in and leave the bedsheets on the floor at the foot of the bed.

6. Make sure all the windows are shut.

7. Wash and put away any used kitchenware and dishes.

Fine - but construction noise is significant
Property was fine but refrigerator broke in first week and it took 5 days until the replacement part was avail. Building going on behind the property is extremely loud and when hammering pilings in can shake the building a bit.

We Will Be Back
What a perfect spot for a beach day. It is right by the beach access point and with the private parking included there is no stress on finding a spot close by so we don’t have to drag all the things for your beach day. We were able to run back to the room if we forgot something or to nap our toddler or simply take a break from the sun yet we could head back a few hours later no stress. The location is also great because of the close proximity to many food and drink options. We were so excited to see the condo had a closet filled with beach day luxuries that couldn’t make the flight with us (beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, & body boards). The condo itself is great as well. Nice open living room/ full kitchen. Many storage closets and dressers. A pack and play and lots of extra bedding/towels. Everything was clean and just what you need for a stay. We can’t wait to come back!

great place close to the beach
We had a great time at the Marlin even though we were under Tornado warning for a whole 24 hours but that is Florida for you. We felt safe in our place. The comforter of the master bedroom smelled a bit funky but everything else was clean. It was great to just go down the stairs and out on to the beach. Since we had listed that we were coming with 3 people I had expected for them to prepare the extra bed for us. But it was put together quickly and we slept well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Marlin. The chairs and bed were comfortable. The linen closet was fully stocked with towels for the beach and bathroom. You could see the ocean from the windows. It was very clean. The building is older so there was no private balconies or lots of amenities. There was a coin operated washer and dryer on site.

The condo was extremely clean. We did not cook much, but it was stocked with enough kitchen supplies for us. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the location is right on the beach. Check in process was super easy. Overall, I would definitely consider staying here again if we go back to the area!

The condo was stocked with coffee, sugar, cream and salt and pepper. That was unexpected. We didn’t realize it was right next to public parking. That made the beach crowded. Check in was confusing, since the black gate was on the left side of the building instead of the back.
