The Space:

This standalone home has been updated to offer all the comforts of your place even while you’re away — and stay in shape in the process with our private gym! Enter into a comfortable living area that connects to the dining room and a spacious, fully appointed kitchen that opens up to the functional, pleasant backyard. Prepare a culinary masterpiece on the chef’s gas range embedded in luxurious granite. With plenty of space to accommodate and entertain, you don’t have to worry about splitting up your group either! Four bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements that fit up to 8 guests (2 queen beds, 1 full, and 2 twins) — and the driveway offers space for up to 4 vehicles so you can all fit comfortably. The bedding and linens are quality and comfortable and everything here is professionally cleaned and laundered.

If, by chance, some crazy Colorado weather keeps you indoors (though this is admittedly rare … “300 days of sunshine a year!”) this vacation rental is set up to give you plenty of options for entertainment without ever leaving the building. Big-screen TVs and WIFI are included, and we also offer a home office to work (if you must!), an arcade, foosball table and more. The obvious feature of this vacation rental is the almost-professional in-home gym setup. This isn’t just a few handheld weights — this gym offers a treadmill (with attached standing desk), elliptical, Bowflex, dumbbells, resistance bands, and a punching bag, as well as a selection of workout DVDs and a TV to guide your workouts!

The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a central part of Colorado Springs offering great access to all of the well-known area attractions for visitors and guests. There are also some aspects to this part of town that really make it a hidden jewel. Palmer Park — 1,500 acres of extreme Colorado natural goodness, and a favorite of locals offering hiking, riding, running trails, views, scenery, natural vistas — is within just a few blocks of this home. There are local bars and cafes close (check out Kawa Coffee … a definite favorite), The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS), and the new University Village shopping center offering upscale dining and retail experiences; all so close! Garden of the Gods is a 12 minute drive, Downtown is 5 minutes away, The Air Force Academy, The Airport, The Broadmoor and Manitou Springs are all about 20 minutes away. Close, quiet, in an established neighborhood next to an exceptional natural park space — you’ll love it!

Getting Around:
We usually recommend that you have a car in Colorado Springs, but being that this home is in a very good location, an Uber or Lyft could be enough!

AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.

1....all bed linen was wet or damp upon arrival 2...internet was disappointing as a member of the famy had to work...we picked city to have good internet 3...the tv in living room worked only occasionally 4...tv controllers didnt work even after i bought new batteries 5...they allowed dogs which was super nice 6...took a while to find the broom to clean up dog hair...should have been in house

House was just as described. Very clean and overall very nice stay. The gym was small, but effective. Our kids loved the video game systems and games. The house does make lots of noises, creaks and cracks, like it is breathing, but it did not bother us.

The house was nice clean. Location is fair to all the points of interest nearby. But no view of mountains or scenery. It is a older neighborhood just suburbia. Oh this house is a prefab home I think as it creaks and pops sounds a lot. It served its purpose for us.

Perfect Quiet and Safe Location
It was easy and convenient check in. The location was great. I felt like I could get to most any place I wanted to go within 15-20 minute drive. The kitchen was equipped with most items needed, but did lack a few things (kitchen rags, a few cooking utensils, etc.) We did find a large black widow spider in the basement downstairs crawling up the door. We did catch and release it. I called the property management number, before opening hours, and left a message to them know. I did not hear back from them. This is why I gave a four star rating for the property management company.

Great location, easy to get to from anywhere in the city.
This was the best place for us. Only a few things that needed improvement; house numbers were obscured by trees and it could use a handicap handle for the bath/shower. Also the tub enclosure is awfully small, and created a problem for one guest. Also needs some sort of railing on the steps outside the dining room. The steps to the laundry area are awfully steep and need another railing.
