Enjoy gatherings in the open concept great room with contemporary architectural design integrating historic exposed beams and moss rock fireplace. Retreat to a private patio to watch local wildlife or relax in one of three private suites with ensuite baths. Welcome to Colorado Springs at its best.

The Neighborhood:
You'll enjoy a unique and tranquil neighborhood near the prestigious Broadmoor Hotel (7 minutes by car) for golf, a memorable meal, or conference like the Space Symposium. Take some time to visit our neighbor, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (4 minutes) to feed giraffes and see rocky mountain animals up close like grizzly bears and otters! For those who want to get away from it all, you have quick automobile access to Cheyenne canyon and over a million acres of Pike National Forest up Old Stage Road, but a simple walk/hike in the neighborhood may be wonderful enough! You'll be 8 minutes from I-25 to head downtown (15 minutes), to the Air Force Academy (25 Minutes), Olympic Training Center (20 minutes), Royal Gorge (1 hour 20 mins) and so much more.

Getting Around:
We recommend driving here or renting a car. There is little public transportation in the neighborhood, but ride share services do service the area, as do food delivery services.

Other Things to Note:
+ Sleep in peace on super soft linens which were laundered in a professional facility to ensure the highest possible amount of viruses and bacteria are utterly destroyed.
+ Elevated Escape features one-level living: there are no steps up or down from the parking area to the living room, kitchen and half bath with laundry, and three of the four bedrooms (including two with ensuite baths). The upstairs master suite is accessible from interior staircase or exterior spiral stairs.
+ Security cameras are present outdoors only. They do NOT monitor the hot tub.
+ Garage is NOT currently available for guest use due to safety concerns.
+ Bears and other wildlife frequent the neighborhood. Do not leave food or trash outside or in vehicles.
+ Our neighborhood mountain roads are paved and well-maintained, but may be snowy and icy from October and May. Experienced winter drivers may not need 4WD but there may be times when it is helpful.
+ Sorry, but weddings, commercial photo/video shoots, and similar events are not allowed at Elevated Escape. Please reach out to us if you need help finding a venue for your event.
+ You may smoke outdoors when local fire regulations allow, but please take care to ash only in the trays provided and to completely extinguish all butts.
+ We reserve the right to collect ID directly from our guests before allowing access to the property. This is in addition to identification you may be asked to provide to the booking platform.
+ Absolutely no pets are allowed.
+ Our team sets out linens appropriate to the number of people on your reservation so please make sure your reservation accurately reflects the number in your party. Be aware that we charge a $30/night fee for additional guests after 4.
+ Check in is at 5pm and check out time is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check in and/or late check out requests. We offer these based upon our housekeeping team's approval as their schedule can be demanding and for an additional fee of $25 per request if granted. Please note, the earliest check in time available is 2pm and the latest checkout time we can accommodate is noon.
+ The house feels private, but is in a neighborhood. Please be ready to be considerate by observing quiet hours outdoors at 10pm.

Interaction with Guests:
We love helping guests make the most of their time in our beautiful area and live very close by. However, we give our guests space unless they ask for help or want to say ‘hi’ in person. Our team will be available throughout your stay and is always happy to provide advice on local restaurants, attractions, and adventures.

Great location
Beautiful property and very well maintained. This property had everything needed, above what we have found in other properties. Kitchen is stocked with small appliances and good selection of cooking needs. Great outdoor space with fire pit to sit and visit or dine.

Spectacular home in great location
Our arrival, stay, and departure at this lovely, spacious, and modern home were exceptional. It is located in the Broadmoor neighborhood, less than a mile from the COS zoo, and convenient to Garden of the Gods, downtown, Manitou Springs, and the Academy. The front door opens via code, making it easy to access no matter your arrival time. The first floor has two spacious primary suites with king beds, plus a room with queen bunks, laundry, living room with fireplace, and lovely, clean kitchen. Upstairs is a primary suite with balcony and small kitchen area. Outside there is plenty of seating, a fire pit for evening conversation, and a hot tub in rear which is serviced weekly. We had a wonderful stay, everyone was very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and it was great to be in COS for the week. The house is only about 20 minutes from COS airport, making departure very easy. Thanks for such a great stay. I highly recommend this property should you be fortunate enough to find yourself in Colorado Springs.

Serene, well-appointed accommodations
Our family of five enjoyed this serene and well-appointed accommodation. We enjoy everything Colorado Springs has to offer, and this location is close to so many of them- the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and the Broadmoor. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, the separation of spaces was perfect, and the outdoor spaces to relax were refreshing.

Wonderful Experience
This is a wonderful home with spectacular hosts. It’s in a great location on Cheyenne Mountain near the zoo. A lovely modern home with plenty of amenities. We were more than comfortable and absolutely loved our stay! The hosts were incredibly responsive and helped immediately with the minimal questions we had. Would recommend and would stay again!

Beautiful mountain home!
This is a beautiful home in a neighborhood high above the Broadmoor. Tastefully decorated with a zoo animal theme,(because the zoo is right around the corner) this was a great home for our family get together. Lots of comfy beds, big towels, nice bathrooms, plenty of products, etc... A big plus for us was the quiet mornings, and then the chimes would start from the Shrine to the Sun up above us. We even went to the zoo and drove up to the shrine which was very interesting and an incredible view! Had a couple of questions and the owners responded within minutes so we really appreciated that. Also enjoyed the hot tub and fire table at night. Great week!
