Historic, creative, close to downtown! Set aside day-to-day distractions to focus on writing or to simply relax. Grab a book from the library to read on a blue velvet sofa or in the backyard with the birds under the maple and walnut trees.

The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator. and the pantry is stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, and a range of utensils for cooking or baking. There are two coffee makers: a single cup Keurig and OXO for larger pots.

There are several local coffee shops nearby if you prefer an active environment. But when you're ready to lay out materials on an inspiring desk, we have two! One is walnut with lyres carved into the base and a surface inlaid with sheet music. The other is Victorian walnut with a solid pull-out surface and many drawers and compartments. In the drawers, you'll find paper and pens. Each bedroom has a desk and a view of a red brick church through the pine branches. There are several lighting options, outlets for your laptop, and free wifi.

No parties. Please do not disturb the tenants next door. They have a gentle, friendly older dog who does not bark but may pop out in the yard with her owner.

The TV in the living room that has streaming apps. The house has a security system and we live about a mile away should you need anything.

Cozy home near everything

We just spent two nights at this property. 4 of us were in town for a Dance Competition at the Convention Center. We were never anymore than about ten minutes from the Center and all the restaurants we wanted to visit. Less than 5 minutes from the awesome Book Loft. Plenty of parking right in front. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. The home was very clean and comfortable. Two adults and two teens had plenty of room. Literary themed with lots of classic touches throughout the home. The owner graciously included lots of amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner and soap. Communication was excellent throughout. We will return wherever we are in town again.

Quiet and Clean

The place was very well taken care of. The books were all in excellent shape and taken care of. Steps are a little steep in the house so be careful of that if anyone in the family has problems with steps(bathroom downstairs, bedrooms upstairs). Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Parking was always available. Loved looking at all the art in the house!

The property was very unique in having a lot of antiques and interesting decorating throughout. The property was clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything you'd need to prepare a meal. Location close to Interstate and convenient for getting around. Host was friendly and easy to reach.

Super cute place in a pretty great location! However the beds were fairly uncomfortable and lumpy. We also came back covered in red dots so we have slight concerns about bed bugs :(

Amazing host

We stayed here to attend a wedding, we had long days and when we needed to do laundry our host graciously stopped by around 10pm to drop off laundry detergent! Very helpful and accommodating. Also, this place has tons of character, the study desks came in handy!

Very Comfortable and Charming

This was a very comfortable, cozy and charming home. The kitchen was very well supplied. We appreciated the supply of not only coffee and tea, but coffeemate, snacks and bottled water. There were also several extra cozy blankets for getting comfy while watching Tv, etc.

Owner is very responsive and welcoming

This cozy and beautifully decorated house was exactly what we had expected. It was in a quiet neighborhood and parking was easy to find. Communication with the owner was easy and delightful. It was our first trip to Columbus Ohio and we were surprised how well the city was structured. Whole Foods and Costco are about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.

Eclectic home in a great location

We wanted to see all of Columbus and this house ended up being the perfect location between 5-20 minutes from anywhere we wanted to be. House was cozy and loved the decor. There was coffee and some snacks provided. We initially had difficulty setting up the Roku, but Constantine was quick to respond and stayed on the phone until we got it working. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Columbus and would definitely stay here again.

Adorable house

We enjoyed our stay there. About 15 mins from the OSU campus, 5 mins from Downtown, Kroger, and German Village. No problem with street parking by the house. Curb appeal is top notch. Insides are exactly like the listing promised. We will consider staying there again, for sure.
