The Space:
We welcome you to our home! Please note this is a cozy 2BR/2BATH 1000 SQFT townhome and NOT a hotel. Although we have great cleaning and maintenance staff, there inevitably will be some imperfections. If you are looking to give a low review or ask for refunds because you went through the townhome and found imperfections, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for an awesome place at a great price; this is your place!

Bedrooms and Bedding:
Queen memory foam bed in each bedroom.
The living room sofa also converts in a comfortable full bed
We also have a Pack N Play baby crib, stroller, and baby high chair so that your baby can live like a local. There are plenty of premium sheets, linens, comforters & pillows. Each bedroom has Bluetooth speakers and a USB charging station.

Each bedroom features an office desk, office chair, and workstation setup for our business travelers.

Great space in Costa Mesa
This place is in a convenient location in Costa Mesa that allows you quick access to other parts of Orange County. It was as advertised in the photos with great space in both bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. This was super clean and had all the necessities needed for week’s stay. The communication was great and the checkout process a breeze. Highly recommend.

The property is a bit worn compared to pictures. The fridge is missing a key shelf and property owners have no intention of replacing it which makes fridge capacity limited. Largest issue came when we were leaving one day and the keypad door would not lock - it was malfunctioning. When we contacted "Stay wirh Dave", they expected us to wait for handyman to come fix door but initially could not tell us when door would be fixed. Therefore we had to cancel our plans. Very stressful. When we pressed to have someone else come wait for handyman, they miraculously had key in lockbox on property we could use. At that point our plans had already been cancelled. We were not provided any compensation for the situation. They were dismissive to our being upset saying the delay was "only an hour" when there should have been no delay since there was a solution available on the property (hidden lockbox). Vacation is to have fun and decompress. Stay with Dave showed no concern for hospitality whatsoever. Do not recommend.

This property does not accurately reflect what the pictures display. The property has dated dramatically in 3-4 years from when the pics were taken. There was black mold in the showers. The floor was more dirty than our home floors (with 4 young kids) are if we didn’t clean them for 30 days. There is little acknowledgement from management about the issues. Even with pics and videos they blamed it on us because we checked on the property 15 mins before checkin - the cleaners were still there, so we left and came back 45 mins later - and because we were there the cleaners said they couldn’t finish. We literally pulled dishes out that had food stuck to them. All the bowls and dozens of forks and spoons. We even pulled out a butter knife with butter covering it. It was pretty gross. The property does NOT have carbon monoxide detectors and is missing a smoke alarm device. Management didn’t seem to care. We left this property after VRBO told us the owners have violated the T&Cs and we booked the rest of our trip in a hotel. We’ve tried to work with management on a refund with zero responses back. Even VRBO cannot get them back on the phone to refund us. We’ve had to file chargebacks on our credit cards because of this issue. We are hoping to get a refund. Book your vacation elsewhere. Between the terrible conditions of the property, matched with the constant smell of marijuana in the vicinity, you’ll be better off staying at a best western than here.

Great Location & Straight Forward
The property location really cannot be beaten. It is a quiet spot, 5 min from the best food and drink scene in Costa Mesa. Close to the desired spots on the coast in Huntington, Balboa, and Pacific City. The house is clean but could be a little cleaner. Things like the baseboards and corners of the bathroom usually stick out to me personally. It does have all the amenities listed and check-in/check-out is great.

Great Property!
This property was perfect for our needs. There were just two of us, so there was plenty of space. It was clean and neat, and the property manager had kindly provided cleaning supplies and even Softsoap handsoap--the same kind we use at home. We arrived at 8:30pm and had difficulty finding the driveway in the dark, but it was easy to reach the manager and in addition to telling me how to find it, she also texted me a map. We didn't need to reach the manager often, but any time I called, someone always answered the phone and was very helpful. We highly recommend Stay with Dave and this property.

A refreshing trip for the family.
Overall, we had everything and more with this booking! Not only is the location pretty great, everything we needed for a great beach day was there in the home. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates and cutlery making our stay really enjoyable. Being that we were traveling with a grandparent of 70s for the first time; she was elated and enjoyed it. Mention! Floor may look dirty, but even we saw after a sandy beach day and mopping; it is completely well maintained. Parking was tight for a Tacoma truck but easily manageable to sticking to your parking spot Would totally book again if available!

Good location for several activities
We enjoyed the location for access to Newport, Huntington and Disneyland. Tucked back within apartments and condos with local playground nearby. Great parking for multiple vehicles. The condo was clean with a minor beach wear and tear. Condo was a great find for the price and met all our location needs. Thank you!

This condo worked out perfectly for our family! We were only a 10 minute drive to Huntington and Newport. It was convenient being close to Trader Joes and great restaurants in Costa Mesa. We would stay there again.

Beds were great, sofa not so much
The cleaning crew arrived at the same time we did--check in time. We adjourned to the small back porch while cleaners proceeded. No problem. The porch had a large green mold stain from the window a/c unit's drip from the second floor. When our white socks stuck to the floor, I went to the local Ralph's and purchased a wet swiffer and Clorox cleaner & scrub brush. Cleaned floor and porch. Understand it's summer with quick turn around. Found roaches in dish cabinet and proceeded to wash all dishes prior to use. Received a call that maintenance was coming to repair tile in bathroom and stove (1 burner on gas stove was missing plate.). We did not request maintenance-- maintenance did not arrive. Beds were clean and comfortable. No evidence of bugs upstairs. Hot water was plentiful as as towels. Air conditioning window units worked well. Parking was tight. We were blocked in by neighbors maintenance vehicles twice. They moved albeit reluctantly when asked. Short story, it was okay but not great. If visiting for work, I'd recommend. If visiting for vacation, it isn't designed for leisure. Sofa was small for 2 adults to sit on.

The perfect location.
We absolutely loved our stay in this lovely condo. There were so many extras that made life so much easier. So many toiletries supplied, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The bedding was amazing as well. The patio was huge and we were able to store our bikes, which we took several rides along the river to the beach. Having parking was so convenient and we will definitely be back. Thank you again!
