Bedrooms located upstairs near bathroom with shower. 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bunk bed (twin over full)

Main floor equipped with a full kitchen with microwave, gas stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee pot, and fully stocked w/ pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen tools. Dining room right of kitchen as well as living space with flat screen Tv and fire stick which you can access your favorite shows. Small work desk also located in space.

Lower level hosts an additional living space and a bathroom with tub/shower.
Washer and dryer available.

**Fireplaces are not functional**

Relax on the main wrap around deck that has a lounge space as well as two hanging swings or the lower deck with bar style table overlooking the backyard and stream.

Fire pit and firewood available.
Seating will be added near fire pit before first check-in.

Gas heat for the chilly fall/winter nights and window air conditioning to stay cool on those hot summer days.

This lake house has all the amenities of home with modern and simple decor, sitting at the end of a quiet road, just a stones throw from the lake. Low traffic location perfect for peaceful strolls.

Property is just 20 minutes away from I-81 giving quick access to all nearby attractions such as skiing, casinos, state and local parks, arenas, amusement parks, and concert venues.
Many nearby restaurants, grocery stores, pubs, and convenience marts.

Parking available for up to 4 vehicles.

State boat launch is located around the lake.

Harveys Lake House
The house was well stocked and clean. Only issue was it was hard to maintain a consistent temperature between between the floors. One bedroom was very hot, and the basement was extremely cold. It could have been attributed to the chilly temps those few days.

Lovely setting and property
The property was very quaint and cozy for our group of friends gathering. Plenty of room and separate areas for sleeping worked out well. Note the coffee maker did seem to leak a bit on the first day, but not the next day. Overall, we had a great first time VRBO experience!

Absolutely lovely property for a relaxing respite
This lovely cottage at Harvey's Lake was the perfect getaway for me and my family. I arrived first on a rainy day and found the lovely wrap-around porch the perfect place to just relax and unwind. At night, I fell asleep to (only) the sounds of the rain and the cicadas. Ahh... The house is situated on a lovely property near the end of the street, where it is quiet and well-canopied. It really has an idyllic feel. The house is neat and clean, and felt really welcoming from the moment one walks in. Almost as if it's a part of one's own family legacy. All of the amenities work as they should. The hot water is hot, and the pressure is strong. Wifi was strong enough for that one video meeting that couldn't be avoided. We did not use the oven, but beyond that we used all kitchen amenities and they worked as expected. The property owner is friendly and communicative. I had a problem with the VRBO site, and we managed a very successful workaround. Very collaborative. I can't say enough about the friendly "feel" of this house. It was really striking to me. I showed the house to my brother, who was staying at another property, and I worry that I may now have to compete with him when I plan my return next year!

Everything We Needed
The Serene Home at Harvey's Lake was exactly what we needed for our family visit. In town for a family gathering at my father's house, we needed more places to sleep and I found this perfect house! Beautifully renovated and so comfortable, plus this home is close to everything. Brianne was available right away to answer the few questions I had. We will definitely rent this lovely home again if it is available!

The property is wonderfully peaceful. With its welcoming porches and private backyard, it welcomed quiet cups of coffee and peaceful mornings. The inside is exactly as it shows and is both quaint and spacious! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to family!

Comfortable, cozy and convenient.
This is a comfortable cottage with convenient access to nearby restaurants and stores…also a reasonable 20 minute drive to Mohegun casino. I wish the weather was warmer so we could have used the wrap-around porch and firepit. We had xpected the property to be a bit more remote but it’s actually on a regular street with next door neighbors. That’s our only reason for the 4 star rating on location. The hosts were excellent with communication and even left a basket with snacks and water upon arrival. Thanks for sharing your home.

We stayed for the weekend to go to a friends wedding nearby and this place was perfect! Lots of space for the 4 of us to relax and get ready for the wedding, and the house was quiet, cozy and clean! We had a nice time staying here. Definitely recommend!!

What a lovely home this was. It was super clean. I was very comfortable and relaxed. I stayed the last day alone just to take it all in. It was quiet. I didn’t even hear cars going by. It was close to the lake and shopping areas. My sons wedding venue was only six minutes away. I’m so happy I found this gem to stay in. I will be coming back. Thank you to the host you guys did an excellent job with the house. Hope to see this again ❤️

Charming and relaxing
Our family had a great time at this charming house. It was a little too hot at night since we didn’t want to run fans or window units (too noisy for me), but otherwise it had everything we needed for our short stay. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch swings in the mornings and roasting marshmallows by the fire-pit at night. Even though the neighbors are all around, the backyard opens up into a meadow and it feels like you are miles away from it all. Kids enjoyed hanging out on the little bridge over the stream running through the backyard and chasing fireflies. Very peaceful and relaxing.

A great experience
We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It had all the amenities you need and then some! It's also a very short walk to the lake and nearby restaurants. Brianne was great to work with. She was very responsive and answered all of our questions.
