Fox Theatre, Detroit institute of Arts, Wayne state, Ford field, Little

Caesars Arena and lots more - this home is the perfect base for all your days

exploring Detroit downtown and beyond.



No matter if you are bringing the family or having a friends getaway this 5

bed 2 and a half bath home, had all you could need. With 2 King size beds, 2

queens, plus 2 xl twin beds there is room for everyone to sleep soundly (the

lovely furnishings and crisp, clean linens don't hurt either!). Hot water is

available to use.



If you must get some work done while you are staying there is a nice

work/study space all set up (plus high speed internet) and don't forget the

cozy living room and fully equipped kitchen, perfect to serve up a big family

meal or just an evening snack if you prefer to try one of the many wonderful

restaurants just a short walk away. Easy access to public transportation is

nearby or downtown is only a 5 minute drive.

Nice house with old charm
Our family of 5, 3 kids, stayed for 3 nights while visiting extended family over the holidays. The house has the original hard wood and lots of charm. Washer & dryer was great too. The location is in a neighborhood that's rebuilding so while there are some vacant houses, there are also plenty that have been fixed up. We had no issues while we were there. There aren't any hand towels or dish towels so if you'll be cooking, you should bring your own. There is a Keurig and a coffee maker. Note if you have small kids, as awesome as the hard wood looks, the floors and stairs creak. So a sound machine while the little ones nap would be a good idea.

Our Christmas Gathering
We appreciate that this house accommodated our 10 family members, and our dog.It would have been helpful if at least one more of the 5 bedrooms had two beds in it.Some of the outlets did not work, coffee maker not clean, and dust bunnies, as well as pet hair was present upon our arrival. However, we appreciate that it was close to Cadillac Square, and that we had no issues in the neighborhood.

Great family reunion
A very quiet neighbourhood, close to everything including belle isle our favourite park. The house was clean, kitchen well equipped and a great meisters close by. This is an area of the city working its way back. And we are happy to rent from red awning

Nice house but minimal amenities
This house was nice and clean, but there were several key items missing; no hand towels in the bathrooms, no towels in the kitchen, no oven mits. Minimal soaps and shampoo available as well- tough for a house that sleeps 10. The neighborhood was pretty rough; we didn’t have any issues, and it’s close to downtown but very touch and go and I wouldn’t walk around- even in the day- by myself.

Interior of the house was clean and very roomy and had the basics provided-with exception of not having any hand towels that we could find. Check in/out process was easy and efficient. Property very accessible to Belle Isle and downtown. Only negatives were street side parking and neighborhood is a little sketchy-but we didn’t have any issues.
