Just 4 miles to Tamarack Resort + on Lake Cascade, this beautiful 5BR/3BA mountain retreat (w/ private hot tub + AC) is nestled on a .3 acre wooded lot + offers STUNNING views of West Mountain. The Crane Shores neighborhood is peaceful + forested + has a private playground/park; this year-round basecamp with modern amenities is ideal for families/groups wanting serenity, while still being just minutes from adventure. Plenty of room for a trailer/boat/ATV!

While there's plenty of high-adventure recreation to enjoy in Valley County, time seems to slow down in this peaceful and serene lakeside family-friendly neighborhood. Surrounded by nature and perfectly located midway between downtown Donnelly and Tamarack Resort (and only 25 minutes from the dining/shopping/recreation of McCall), the location offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. Surrounded by alpine forests and bordering Bureau of Reclamation lands, you'll have every opportunity to enjoy nature, with hiking, swimming, boating, fishing, biking, skiing, all accessible within minutes.

Just five miles south is Tamarack Resort, a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. Tamarack also offers a host of on-site dining and leisure activities, to include a spa, pickleball courts, and disc golf course. Be sure to check their schedule for hosted events and activities.

The neighborhood is family-friendly with a community park (playground, grass, and covered pavilion with picnic tables) one block from the home. It's also located on the non-motorized side of Lake Cascade, with several access points for kayaking/canoeing. Just five miles from Tamarack Resort, you can see the Wildwood ski runs from your property! Max occupancy is 10 people.

Open concept main level features a full bath, fully-equipped spacious kitchen for home cooking and baking (and great conversations around the dining table), cozy living area with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and plenty of windows to take in the scenic mountain views.

PRIMARY BEDROOM
Enjoy the comforts of your Queen bed and relax in the spa-like ensuite, complete with a large soaker tub and separate shower. The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor and has access to the covered deck and hot tub.

PRIVATE LOFT BEDROOM
The 2nd-floor has an expansive loft bedroom (King bed) with its own ensuite full-bathroom. There's also a dedicated workspace for those looking to work while traveling. This room is perfect for those looking for added privacy.

OUTDOOR LIVING
Lago Vista is designed for those looking to enjoy the outdoors, and has an exceptionally private covered back patio on the main level, overlooking peaceful alpine forest and Lake Cascade; it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature, or you have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the ideal way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain. A trip to the mountains wouldn't be complete without games of cornhole and s'mores around the campfire, which is easy with your own built-in firepit!

While the property is about 300 meters from the non-motorized section of Lake Cascade and does offer filtered lake views, the home is not "lake front" and does not have a dock. There are two neighborhood trails that provide lake access where you can put in kayaks or SUPs ranging from a half mile to one mile from the home, but water levels can impact accessibility and beachline. There are many sandy beaches ideal for swimming/lounging within a 5-10 minute drive.

*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.

*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.

Great Christmas Getaway!!
We had a property rented in Donnely for over a month that was canceled two days before we went. We are so lucky to have found this property to accommodate our Christmas still getaway to the mountains! Brian and Kelly were great hosts and helped with any questions we had. The living area is great for a larger family group! We enjoyed games, building snowmen, and mountain time. Thank you again for helping us make our Christmas vacation special.

Boys Golf Trip
The property was spacious, which was great for a boys golf trip. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms with a great patio and jacuzzi. Five adult men had plenty of room in a very nice cabin and area. We played golf at Jug Mountain and Osprey Meadows and both were awesome. Kelly's communication was outstanding. We will definitely try to stay at this property again in the future.

This house was wonderful for a large family! Very convenient to attractions and the lake. We loved it. It was exactly as advertised and the host was very responsive. Well appointed with good quality kitchen equipment. We had everything we needed! We loved it!
