Captains Cove and Crew Quarters
Captain's Cove (Main House): Master Queen bed, 2nd bedroom two Queen beds, 3rd bedroom King bed. Master bath with shower, 2nd bath with double sinks and tub/shower. Comfortably sleeps 8 people.
Make yourself at home in the living room, as it has plenty of seating on the wraparound couch, rocking chair and has a fireplace and a 55" TV. The décor is a cozy and modern with a nautical theme. The kitchen has high end stainless appliances, Viking stove, large farm sink, new cabinets, and granite countertops. A large dining table seats up to 10 for a meal or a card game. All the bedrooms are on the first level. The Master suite and 2nd bedroom have access to the patio on the year-round hot tub. The Master suite has a Queen bed with an adjoining bath with step in shower. The second bathroom has double sinks and a full tub/shower. Just off the bright natural light of the kitchen is a sliding door leading out to your private pool. The backyard is perfect for the whole family. Spend your days in a luxurious pool and spa, and your evenings by the fire. Pool open May to mid October. There is a fire pit with comfortable outdoor furniture to relax in. Each bedroom and the great room have window air conditioner units. A washer and dryer are conveniently available on the first floor for your laundry needs.
Crew Quarters (Pool House): Two large rooms that include bunks with two Queen beds, 2 Twin beds, washroom, shower room, great room, and efficiency kitchen. Air conditioned and sleeps up to 4 people.
The detached pool house is a perfect setup for a family or group. It has a spacious great room with a large lounge area, 40" TV and efficiency kitchen. Separate washroom and large walk-in shower room. A separate, large, carpeted bunk room with two Twin beds over two Queen beds and another large 50" TV for the whole crew to enjoy. You will also find an awesome foosball table as well that offers hours of fun. The Crew Quarters has its own entrance that is accessible from the backyard pool area, and it has plenty of natural light.
By renting this cottage you are agreeing to the following terms:
(RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED)
1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking.
2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk.
3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. Parallel parking is permitted on the lawn to the west of the driveway off of Chestnut Street (please do not park on the street pavement). Additionally, there are two overflow parking spots available on the alley located at on south end of property (adjacent to the Poolhouse). Alley parking is permitted in the mowed grass area that is parallel to the wood fence.
4.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
5.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
6.) Damages are to be reported during your stay.
7.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
8.) Quiet time is after 10pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night!
9.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
10.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage.
11.) This is a private pool and there is no Life Guard on duty at the pool. All children must be attended at all times. Swim at your own risk. Quaint Cottages nor property owner will be held responsible for any accidents that occur on the premises.
12.) Fireplace is available in the fall/winter months only.
13.) Fireworks are prohibited on property at all times.
14.) No more than 6 people in the hot tub at a time. Please rinse of all oils and lotions before entering the hot tub as the filter will not be able to keep up. KIDS CAN NOT BE IN THE HOT TUB WITOUT AN ADULT! Hot tub towels are provided. Neighbor is close and must not hear you outside after 10pm. Please do not use bath towels for hot tub.
15.). Firewood for the fire is not provided but available and local gas stations.
These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. This communication is necessary so that your vacation experience is a good one for your group and our neighboring community. Please ENJOY your stay!
