Welcome to Piece of Mine Green, an enchanting micro-resort of three 1-bedroom cottages that deliver a tropical escape with snorkeling, kayaking, and shore fishing steps from the home's front door. With two neighboring cottages on-site—Piece of Mine Yellow or Blue—guests can expect a remote tranquil paradise along the island's south coast.

The cozy interiors feature a spacious primary suite with a queen bed, a full kitchen with modern appliances, and a furnished screened living area with oceanfront views. Air-conditioned interiors with complimentary wifi and SmartTVs in the bedroom and living area will keep you cool and connected throughout your stay.

The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for a home-cooked meal including cookware, flatware, glassware, and cutlery. Small countertop appliances include a blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, and a Keurig. A dining table and a small charcoal grill are provided in the screened living area for island cookouts with tropical views. Multiple picnic tables dot the shoreline for alfresco dining by the sea.

At the request of the homeowner, all overnight guests must be 18 or older.

The grounds are a lush landscape with tropical gardens, vibrant wildlife, and blooming orchids. Relax in a hammock under the shade of a seagrape tree, or enjoy the seaside cabana with your morning coffee or a sunset cocktail. The owner provides communal kayaks for all guests to enjoy. Additional kayaks, paddleboards, and SeaView boards are available for hire at discounted rates. Free snorkel gear—mask, fins, and snorkel—is provided for all guests.

Conveniently secluded yet close to Grand Cayman's top attractions, Piece of Mine Green is the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.

Need more space? Consider renting the other two 1-bedroom cottages—Piece of Mine Yellow or Blue—and reserve the entire grounds exclusively for your group!

*Note: A Cleaning Fee is required due to enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols.

***Getting Around***
A rental car is highly recommended. Taxi cabs are unreliable and expensive outside of town and Seven Mile Beach. Plus, there is no Uber or Lyft on the island. For rental cars, we recommend Budget Cayman, Avis, or Marshalls.

***Villa Cleaning & Sanitation***
All villas are cleaned and sanitized before each guest's arrival. We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival.

***Beach Notes***
The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east, so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman.

The homes along the southeast coast offer great reef-protected snorkeling and proximity to the best SCUBA operators on the island, Ocean Frontiers and Tortuga Divers.

Unique to this property is its 200 feet of private beachfront. This shoreline is yours to explore and comes furnished with shared hammocks and a seaside cabana.

All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high water mark.

The shoreline quality behind your property may vary slightly from the images on our website due to shifting tides and weather patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use.

***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a harmless floating seaweed that has increased over the summer months. Our owners make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.

Should sargassum weed be extremely heavy behind your property, we will contact the owner for alternative solutions which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around Mother Nature.

The best part of our trip
This property is wonderful and made our trip one of the best we’ve ever taken. With the beach right there and so many options for seating and relaxing, it was hard to leave the property at all. My husband and I took advantage of the kayaks every morning and spent our evenings on the enclosed porch watching the water. Tia was absolutely wonderful and gave us recommendations on a places to visit and where to eat. We love how secluded the property is and it honestly feels like a luxurious retreat. We would not hesitate the book this property again and hope to return soon.

Sisters vacation
This was my husband and my second time staying at “Piece of Mine”. My sister and her husband stayed in one cottage and we stayed in another. We loved absolutely everything! From the moment we arrived on the property, we relaxed. We went on fishing trip and ventured into George Town a couple times, but we’re always thrilled to come back to the peace and quiet of “Piece on Mine”. Harriet is a wonderful host! The cottages are beautiful and the property is well kept and comfortable. And Tia, the property manager is an absolute gem!

Peaceful retreat in East End, Grand Cayman
My husband and I rented one cottage and our friends rented the one next door - both cottages were perfect. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with all amenities. The outdoor "living room" by the beach was lovely and though we spent some time driving around Grand Cayman, eating out and going to beaches elsewhere, we quickly realized how wonderful it was to just hang out and talk and read at our own little beach. Sunsets are beautiful. It was very nice to be able to spend time with our friends but also be able to go to the privacy of our own little houses. Since there are three little cottages it would be perfect for 3 couples, whether friends or family. Another highlight: every evening Cayman parrots 1-2 pairs of Cayman parrots came to roost in the trees near our house! Highly recommend the Czech Grill down the road, and the Botanical Gardens. Hats off to Tia and Harriet for creating a wonderful peaceful retreat! We will definitely recommend to others and would stay there again when we return to Grand Cayman.

Exceeds expectations!
My husband and I stayed at Piece of Mine on a little getaway. As a confessed hotel/accommodations snob, I am exceedingly picky about my travel accommodations. To put it simply, I like my accommodations to be extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. Piece of Mine far exceeded our expectations! The grounds are beautiful and immaculate and the waterfront view is glorious. The cottage was attractive and beautifully decorated. (The hostess, Harriet, has impeccable taste.) But more importantly, it was absolutely spotless! If I had dropped food on the floor, I may have picked it up and eaten it! And Harriet (with the help of her assistant, Tia), is quite possibly the best VRBO hostess on the planet! She and Tia are laser focused on making sure your stay is as comfortable and pleasant as it can be, and they are quick to respond to your needs. Speaking of which, they have done a great job of anticipating the needs of their guests. There are kayaks (which we really enjoyed), snorkel gear, floats, beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, and other conveniences. And Harriet, who was born and raised on the island, is a wealth of information and can answer your questions about places to go, things to do, restaurants to try, etc. Don’t hesitate to book Piece of Mine! You won’t be disappointed!

We stayed here for a week in February and had a terrific time. Tia (Harriet’s property manager) was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was immaculate, the bathroom was great. The screened-in porch was perfect for relaxing. The thatched covered patio was perfect for relaxing in the hammock with a book. There are plenty of places to relax in the sun or shade. Lots of native wildlife to watch. Many good restaurants close by. The snorkel gear was great as were the kayaks.

Relaxation at its finest!
From the initial booking until it was time to go home our experience was exceptional. The details listed about the property are spot-on - everything you might expect it to be and more. Harriet was quick to communicate and answer any questions that we had. Tia was so sweet and very helpful and checked on us frequently. This property is exactly what we were looking for. We enjoy quiet relaxation away from all the crowds. If you are coming here and plan to do a lot of the touristy things then make sure you rent a car. If you come here just to relax then the public bus system is more than adequate. Make a good grocery shopping list and you'll never even have to leave your little piece of paradise. We want to thank Harriet and Tia for all the hard work that went into making our vacation so wonderful.

Great anniversary trip
We had a great anniversary trip for the week. The cottage was exactly like the pictures described it. Absolutely beautiful and private. We took the kayaks out just about every day. We explored the whole island and spent few days over on 7 mile beach. Only thing missing is a dock and need more of a beach area for sun tanners like us. Be sure to bring water shoes as going into the water is very mushy. We loved the screened in porch in early morning and late evenings. Listening to the parrots in the trees chatter to each other. We had the whole place and beach area to ourselves which was a plus. Harriett had answered any questions I had and got back to me quickly. Tia was very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate Property of Three Cottages on beachfront
We stayed at Piece of Mine from February 2nd through Feb 9th 2019. Many thanks to " Sweet Tia" the property manager. The cottage was immaculate and Tia was available to answer any questions/concerns. Our only disappointment was that in the ads it was never mentioned that there were 3 cottages on the beach that all shared the pictured amenities. The cottages are approximately 10 feet apart on a good sized beachfront. For us with a bit of furniture re-arranging we were able to achieve the privacy we were seeking for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Pristine, private, and amazing views
This was an amazing place to stay. Both Harriett and Tia were helpful and friendly, greeting us upon arrival. It was one of 3 cottages on the same property, but it felt very private. We had access to 2 kayaks, life vests, snorkel gear, and fins, which was fantastic. The place was perfect - kitchen was well equipped, air conditioning was excellent, the bathroom was clean and offered 2 sinks, and the bedroom had an incredibly comfortable bed. We loved it here and hope to return someday.

Beautiful and private
The property was lovely and private. Harriet was a wonderful host and made us feel welcome. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with her homemade cassava cake. Yum! The cabin had everything we needed, although, we could have used some more forks. We kayaked and grilled out by the beach a lot, only visiting George Town twice and Rum Point once. The water was beautiful, as was the sandy beach, but, once you got in the water, the sand was a little muddy/grassy for the first 30 feet or so. It was no big deal, as we just kayaked past to a nice clear spot and anchored out, sitting in our floats. We took a great snorkeling trip and had lobster at Tukka. It was the perfect vacation. If we get the chance, we will surely be back.

Fabulous!
Piece of Mine is spectacular! The Villa and grounds immaculate and very quiet and private which we loved. With a rental car we had no problem getting around and found the location perfect. Harriet was lovely and thought of everything needed to make our stay comfortable. We hope to return to Grand Cayman and will stay here again without question!

Beachside idyll
The cozy quiet cottage site offers all sorts of amenities - modern kitchen, generous sized bedroom, screened in living area plus outdoor lounge areas, kayaks and snorkel gear. Fabulous cassava cake made by our host, Henrietta, was there to sweeten the welcome as well as freshly picked orchid sprays. Friendly neighbours, Billie and Erika, give you lots of privacy or, if you'd like, advice, help or just cheery conversation. Very relaxing to have so much space to enjoy the outdoors. Unfortunately we ran into jellyfish problems on the first day and did not use the waterfront as much as we would have liked to. Also - the waterfront is very mucky and shallow and grassy which is why it doesn't rate 5 stars for us.

Piece of Mine is a great cottage on the quiet end of Grand Cayman!
We loved our stay at Piece of Mine. Grand Cayman can be a busy island if you are in the 7 Mile Beach area, but this cottage offered comfort, tranquility and beauty when we got back home after a day of snorkeling and exploring the island. We ate every meal outside under the thatched cabana hut. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning, and watching the cranes, bone fish and crabs on the beach kept us entertained. Harriet was a terrific hostess, treating us to her special Cassava Cake upon arrival, and sharing stories of what the island was like when she was growing up. She gave us great tips on where to grocery shop and where to eat--she could not have been more helpful and fun to talk to. The cottage is well equipped for preparing meals, and the bed is very comfortable. Piece of Mine is a real gem.

Harriet was such an excellent host and made us feel like were right at home. Her attention to detail and cleanliness was greatly appreciated. Some days we didn't even leave the property, there is a beach there with hammocks, chaise loungers, kayaks etc. Harriet thought of everything!!! If we ever go back to Grand Cayman, we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Absolutely loved it!!!!
