Un endroit au millieu de nul part comme El Calfate Pour qui aime être au calme Personnel accueillant et serviable Possibilité de faire du cheval Un peu déçu car d’une Estancia j'espérais une activité liée à l’elevage Authentique et rustique sauf le prix Vélo très fatigués qui ne permettent pas d’envisager un parcours qui de toute façon est compliqué car tous les chemins sont clôturés

relaxing estancia but room for improvement
Beautiful setting, peaceful and relaxing with opportunities to horse ride by the lake and experience estancia life. It's a long taxi ride from the centre and airport but this did not really concern us since it was soley a two night base from which to experience perito moreno. However I do feel that the estancia takes advantage of the guests being far from the centre by hiking up food and drink prices: 20USD for a sandwich and cereal bar lunch box?! We totally avoided the ridiculous lunch box but very much enjoyed the lamb ravioli and empanadas, however the patagonian lamb was a let down as was the choripan - we experienced much better and (cheaper!) from street stalls elsewhere. The rooms provide a lovely view however the beds and showers need serious attention, the bath was tiny, the shower squirted water in every single direction possible and the beds were also small and very uncomfortable (two beds pushed together in an attempt to make a double - nightmare!) Our highlight was Victoria: professional and friendly and a fabulous horse riding guide :)

Nice plave close to the glacier
Great place to stay. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for an experience far better than a regular hotel.

Set in wonderful wilderness.
We had a great stay. Great staff, lovely open-fire ambience and great horse-riding. A couple of things would have improved our enjoyment... fix the heating in the bedrooms... it doesn't work. Also. Don't give novice horse-riders stirrups that are too narrow.

Amazing landscape
Hotel located lake side and seize amazing landscape, enjoy bird sing and wind sound , just like other ranch, peaceful,quiet, beautiful. I think ride horse walking around can meet what you want. Delicious and healthy food would be tasted at Ranch restaurant ,specially grill lamb. Taste very perfect! Absloutly hotel staffs-three girls are warm heart and kind girls, of couse, all beautiful . All a word, you just enjoy everything at the ranch hotel.

Nicest staff and amazing location
My wife and I spent an incredible two nights at El Galpon. The staff is the most hospitable staff I had in Argentina. They are warm, fun, and most of all inviting. Moreover, the location of the hotel is just perfect. It is serene, quite and incredibly beautiful. Highly recommended.

Super Alternative für Naturfreunde und Ruhesucher
Wunderschöne Estancia zwischen El Calafate und Perito Moreno. Wir waren sehr froh, nicht in Calafate zu wohnen und haben uns hier mitten in der Natur sehr wohl gefühlt. Zudem ist der Preis akzeptabel und nicht in astronomischen Sphären wie bei den meisten anderen Estancias in dieser Gegend.
