TOP of the mountain - 3 level cabin, AMAZING sunset views, dog friendly!

Perfectly located between Downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay - 15 minutes from either downtown.

Drive to the very TOP of the MOUNTAIN and enter the property on our large flat circular driveway (you'll appreciate this more when you see some of the other driveways)!

Enter the front door on the main level and find yourself staring directly at the mountains through the large glass doors in the living area. The dark cherry floors, the stone fireplace and the wood burning furnace give our cabin an extra cozy feel! The main floor also contains the kitchen and dining areas, a master suite with a king-sized bed, and the main bathroom with a stand-up shower. A large screened deck facing the mountains runs the entire length of the main level with outdoor seating, a charcoal grill and table for the perfect gathering space. The entire main floor is accessible without stairs.

From there, head upstairs to find another private suite with a queen bed and a private bathroom with jetted tub. This bedroom has its own quiet screened balcony also facing the mountains with outdoor seating for two.

Downstairs is a completely finished basement with a pull-out sofa and a 50" TV, family friendly games and a pool table. A separate bedroom is located in the basement and kids will feel at home in some of the coolest bunkbeds available! The basement level is home to our largest of the three decks - the deck is nearly 700 square feet and generally turns in to the family's favorite gathering spot. with plenty of seating and a fire pit (solo stove).

The entire yard is fenced and we're a dog friendly cabin.

Firewood is provided for all our guests and included in the price.

Great cabin!
Everything was great. Very Cozy, very clean. The yard was great for our dogs and the cabin had baby gates available to help keep them on the main level. The views are amazing with the sunset. One thing I wish I noticed from the information listed is that there is only one shower. The second bathroom had a bathtub. My only other complaint was the pots and pans for cooking were old and scratched leaving bits of teflon in my food. I’ll bring my own pan next time! Every one said their bed was comfy but I can only speak abou the king bed I slept on which was awesome!

Stunning lodge
We had a great three-night stay at Lazy Bear Lodge. The location is great, with stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sunsets were breathtaking, and since there is no light pollution, the sky is filled with stars at night. The lodge is well-equipped, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of space across its three levels. The spacious terrace is a great place to relax and enjoy the views, while the comfortable beds made for a restful stay. Josh, the owner, was quick to respond and very helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly. We loved our time here and would definitely return!

The only negative was the road to get to the cabin! It’s in bad shape especially during rain or snow we experienced both during our stay. But overall, it’s a beautiful cabin, and the views are stunning.

The Cabin was as described and was Great . The view was awesome and area was very quiet . The Road getting up to Cabin was very rough but it was the week after Helene and the area did have several inches of rain for the storm . I would recommend staying at cabin and we would definitely stay at cabin again.

Great views, very clean, top notch host, good location between Ellijay & Blue Ridge, ideal set up for dog with access to porches and fenced in area. Only negative was poor condition of Big Bend Road, extremely dusty and large ruts/washouts. May have been due to previous storm, but we traveled on multiple unpaved roads in vicinity and they were in much better shape.

The cabin was very well kept and had plenty of spacious room. The views from the upper to lower level were so amazing we lost track of time. It was very relaxing! From the fresh mountain air, to the cozy fires each evening, we felt right and home! This was just the refreshing getaway we needed!! Highly recommend staying here!!!

Very beautiful, comfortable, cozy and well maintained cabin. The Mountain views are beautiful, as are the sunsets. Enjoyed the fire pit and watching the leaves start to fall. The host is great and is quick to respond. We plan to come back next year!!

Beautiful cabin!
Cabin was super clean, great views. Comfortable bed on main floor. Messaging with owner was always quick and he had great recommendations for places to visit. Definitely recommend breakfast at Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge - delicious! Minimal things to do before check out which is always nice. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Overall great experience. *Some things to note - kitchen on main level does not have a full refrigerator or dishwasher, they are in drawers in kitchen. If you come with a groceries, you may have to use the downstairs in addition. *Drive to cabin when you turn on Big Ben is a dirt road and very bumpy/rough. I am 6 months pregnant and hated going up or down that road to/from Ellijay or Blue Ridge - literally dreaded it each time and my poor husband had to hear me make horrible ache and pain noises until we were off of the road. We have an AWD vehicle and there are some steep parts, not sure how someone without AWD would do especially with rain.
