In prime Manasota Key location, Blue Island Inn has spectacular water views of gorgeous Lemon Bay from every suite so you might never want to leave! We are just a 5-minute walk to our wonderful ocean-side beach. Or enjoy our cute “bay-front beach” right out back, a long walk or short drive or free shuttle service to five popular family-friendly restaurants near the big Englewood beach with live tropical music, very popular free beach yoga classes, reasonably priced water sports rentals – parasailing, sunset cruises etc. 2-mile drive to number 1 ranked attraction of Stump Pass State Beach Park - a natural wonderland. Car rentals are the best, easiest, most reasonably priced way to get to and from Manasota key.
Our guests often like to use Stumpy's Free Ride - a tip-based shuttle service to get around easily on the Key.

Wonderful!
We wanted to get a few days of sunshine so we booked this place. It exceeded our expectations! We were giving clear directions and info. Upon arrival the unit was very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed. We loved being able to look out our window and look over the pool and bay. It was a quiet location and yet close to all activities you might want to do. It was too windy to use the kayaks. Maybe next time! We enjoyed sitting by the pool and went to the beach. We loved that their were beach chairs available and even a couple of coolers to borrow to take to the beach. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely go back! We were sad to leave and head back to cold, gloomy Ohio.

Paradise Bay at Blue Island Inn was a lovely spot. It was home base while we traveled to spring training games in both Port Charlotte and Bradenton. Loved the location, easy beach access, pool, and ability to fish. Fell in love with Manasota Key and all this little beach town has to offer (restaurants, bars, shopping). Highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed the unit. The unit was clean, well stocked with towels and decorated beautifully. The dock was nice to sit on and enjoy the bay, while the walk to the beach was very short. The view of the bay from the unit we stayed in was peaceful. While we didn't use the pool because we spent our swimming time in the clear ocean waters, the pool looked super clean. We would highly recommend for a couples trip.

Had a wonderful stay in the first floor studio, Paradise Bay. Extremely clean, had every thing we needed. Nice pool with a beautiful view of Lemon Bay. A/C could be better, sign warned to not go below 70° but needed a little cooler to sleep comfortably at night. Overall, very nice place and would recommend.

This property was absolutely perfect! Exactly as listed! We had never stayed in this part of Florida so I was unsure of exactly where the listing was. It’s in a perfect location!! Love the pool and bay view. Short walk to a private beach or short drive to several other beaches. Restaurants were super close with great food and atmosphere. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely rebook!!

We were looking for a place to escape the busyness of everyday life for a few days- perfect pick! The laid back vibe of Manasota Key was ideal, people were friendly, the beaches were beautiful, food was good, and Yoga was a pleasant surprise! The sunrise over the bay was awesome and then the sunset in the beach. The property was as described, simple, clean and met all Our needs, would book again for sure.

OUR STAY
IT WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION. THERE WERE SEVERAL THINGS THAT WERE NOT GOOD. THE ELECTRICIANS CAME WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW. WE WERE NAPPING AS WE WERE REALLY TIRED, WE NEVER GOT THAT NAP. SEVERAL THINGS WERE NOT IN WORKING ORDER.
