Experience a one-of-a-kind stay at Mt. Joseph, a luxurious condo in the heart of Downtown Enterprise, located in the renovated historic Litch Hotel. Designed with Western and Rodeo enthusiasts in mind, this unique space features a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, large bathroom, and comfortable living area. Dog-friendly and close to local attractions like Wallowa Lake and Joseph, it's the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Wallowa County.

Todd & Andy McKee, The McKee Brothers, own and operate the Litch Hotel which is part of Eagle Cap Vacation Rentals. They both live in Wallowa County, near Enterprise and are available to be onsite quickly if a need arises.

Mt. Joseph is located in the historic Litch Hotel on the corner of Main Street and River Street in Downtown Enterprise. Enterprise is generally quieter and slower paced than its more famous neighbor Joseph. Many guests that stay in the Litch Hotel have noted their appreciation for this feature of the location. On the other hand Joseph is a short 10 minute drive away making it a convenient access point to the many outdoor adventures that our guests plan to enjoy during their stays.

Back in the day, the Litch Hotel had 11 apartments and just one bathroom on the 2nd floor (can you imagine?! 😅), but don’t worry — times have definitely changed! Now, you’ll have your very own private bathroom and kitchen, so no awkward run-ins while you’re making that midnight snack 🍕. The entryway outside your unit is the only shared space, so feel free to get cozy and relax however you like — no one’s around to judge your Netflix binges or late-night PJs! 😎🛋️

A comfortable king size bed awaits in along with shelves and hooks for clothing and comfortable chair and ottoman with a reading lamp.

A large bathroom with tile floors and a rain shower inside a large stand up tiled shower. A hiking themed hand drawn mural adorns the wall and large sink and lit mirror provides more than enough space for make up application.

☆☆ KITCHEN, LOUNGE & DINING ☆☆

The kitchen is well appointed. New appliances and new quartz countertops provide ample of food prep space. Appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, blender and toaster help make the kitchen meet every guests needs. 16 spices and olive oil ensure your meals will be full of flavor. A small dining table by the front window along with two dining chairs allows for a comfortable dining experience using locally hand made plates, bowls and coffee cups. The kitchen opens into a living room space that provides a comfortable leather sofa facing a large HD flat screen smart TV. The living room also includes a cool chair suspended from the ceiling that guests are able to sit on.

☆☆ OUTDOOR SPACE ☆☆

The front door opens on to River Street directly across from the historical Wallowa County building. Your just a short walk away from several eating establishments and just a short drive away from the Wallowa Lake and the many outdoor opportunities that the Eagle Caps offer. There is plenty of on street parking for guests in the block surrounding the Litch Hotel. In more than a year of operating the hotel, we haven't had a guest complain about not being able to find convenient parking.

Enterprise might be small, but it's big on charm! Here’s how to make the most of your time without getting lost (not that it’s easy to do here 😄).

Downtown? Just walk outside. Yep, you’re basically in the middle of it. 🏙️ Perfect for a leisurely stroll to grab a coffee or check out local shops. ☕🛍️
Joseph is just a short 10-minute drive away for those wanting a taste of small-town fun or the beauty of Wallowa Lake! 🚙🌲
Wallowa Lake is about 15 minutes by car, and trust us, it’s worth the trip for a day of lakeside adventures. 🛶🎣
Need supplies? No worries — the grocery store is just a stone’s throw away. Perfect for stocking up on snacks or dinner essentials. 🍔🍫
Parking? Easy peasy! Free parking is right outside, so no need to stress about finding a spot.
Not in the mood to drive? No problem! Enterprise is totally walkable, and biking around the area is always a great idea! 🚴‍♀️🌞

UNIT DETAILS & POLICIES

NOISE CONSIDERATIONS:

INTER-UNIT NOISE: Our building is over 110 years old and does not have the soundproofing found in more modern structures. You will hear noise from adjacent occupied units and should be mindful of the noise you make as well.

PET-FRIENDLY UNIT NOTICE: Our unit welcomes guests with and without pets. While many visitors without pets have a great stay, we want to remind everyone that we cannot guarantee a dander-free environment. This may affect individuals with dog or cat allergies.

PET POLICIES FOR GUESTS WITH PETS:
NUMBER OF PETS: A maximum of 3 pets allowed per reservation. Notify us at booking or as soon as possible if there are any changes.
PET FEE: A non-refundable fee of $30 per night for each pet is required, including for ESAs. This fee will be billed separately about a week before your visit.
BEHAVIOR AND ACCOMMODATIONS: Pets must be leashed in common areas, are not allowed on furniture or beds, and must not be left unattended in the unit.
CLEAN UP: Owners must clean up after their pets; supplies are provided under the kitchen sink for indoor mishaps.
DAMAGE AND LIABILITY: Guests are financially responsible for any damage or incidents caused by their pets. Owners will not be held liable for injuries or damages.

CHECK-IN: Anytime after 3:00 PM. Early check-in options available:
COMPLIMENTARY: Call after 12:30 PM on your arrival day, if your condo is ready we will let you check-in early.
GUARANTEED: Pre-arrange early check-in for $20/hour).

CHECK-OUT: Required by 11:00 AM; late check-out available at $20/hour.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited within the condo.

PARTIES: Require prior approval.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

BEDS: Our beds include medium-firm memory foam mattresses, which most guests love but occasionally a guest finds too firm.

SECURITY: A video doorbell is in place on the exterior of the entrance.
ENTRANCE DETAILS: This unit's front door opens directly onto the main thoroughfare in Enterprise. Blinds provide complete privacy and street noise has not been a significant concern to past guests.

VENTILATION: This condo doesn't have any windows that can be opened. We account for this in 3 ways, 1) a ductless AC/Heat mini split, 2) ceiling fan and 3) an air purifier.

WASHER/DRYER: there is no washer/dryer on site. There is a laundromat about 2 blocks away and you we offer a wash/fold service as well (Details available in our guidebook).

This property is awesome. Great location and the room was great, we got to stay in a rodeo theme room. It was fantastic interior design. The room is clean and has all the amenities you need. If we are ever in Enterprise again, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommends.

This place was everything and more. From the clever decor, to the beyond clean appearance, and the above and beyond customer service. We will be back. PS the location is perfect as well. Away from most tourists yet minutes away from all the sights/activities. Plus the breakfast just around the corner (Red Rooster Cafe) was delish!!!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

The property was masterfully constructed and designed. We really enjoyed the rodeo theme and all of the nice local touches. The entire property was delightfully clean and comfortable. I felt like a famous person in this condo. It was amazing and very clean and welcoming.
It was my husband and myself with our four legged doggy trigger. It was amazing felt like I was to actually really rich staying in there it had everything to stuff for yourself or your animal. The only thing that was a little hard was trying to find an area for our dog to go potty. Not to many places close by for them to go potty. Other then that I would still recommend the stay.

Wonderful Place to Stay
Dear reader - I was traveling for meetings in Wallowa County. I first looked into local hotel rooms and costs. The rates a felt were a bit high for the area, so I started looking at VRBO and found this fantastic property! The price point is comparable to a standard hotel room but you get so much more! The location is perfect for walking around Enterprise and is close to all services (restaurants, etc). I was blown away at the quality of the property, from decore to the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom space. The remotes and controllers for the TV, fans, and blinds are all labeled correctly and work as they should. I was very impressed with the attention to detail regarding the western theme of the property! Framed rodeo posters to old saddles with ropes, and even a headboard made to look like the chute gate at the Cheif Joseph Days Rodeo! You will be very happy with your stay should you decide to book the property which I highly recommend!

Western stunner!
The decor, location, ease of check-in and all the amenities make this stunner and easy 5 stars and a place we look forward to coming back to. Love the western flair! Close to coffee, breakfast, flowers, Wild Carrot, bank, fuel, groceries and TGs. All are within walking distance if not right out the front door.
