Hello! Comfy Caribou Lodge is the perfect place to stay while enjoying all that interior Alaska has to offer! This 1,700 sqft cabin has that rustic, cozy feeling that only a log cabin can provide on the first floor, but the second floor is completely modern! It's a perfect location for families or couples to enjoy nature as well as each other.

Inside you will find a rustic yet modern space with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable living room.

Automatic Generator -- Weather in Alaska is unpredictable and electric outages are frequent. Our cabin is equipped with an automatic generator that will sense a power outage, turn on automatically, and deliver generator power until utility power returns -- whether two hours or two weeks! This is a BIG PLUS for living in Alaska.

The outdoor and cultural resources are endless!

Goldstream Creek runs through the valley of Fairbanks, providing habitat for fox, moose, numerous birds, and many other small mammals. The area has multiple trails used by hikers, bird watchers, dog walkers, berry pickers in the summer, and by skiers, dog mushers, and many others in the winter.

Excellent location for Aurora viewing, 15 mins outside of Fairbanks downtown. Super clean, comfortable beds, building is basically new. Convenient plug in at entry for engine warming. Large capacity washer/dryer, modern appliances, comfy cou hes. Great place to stay!everything.

Wonderful cabin
Our experience staying at the cabin couldn’t have been better. The cabin is located in a beautiful wooded area. It is super clean with a fully stocked kitchen. All three bedrooms are very comfortable. There are many board games provided that we played in evenings. I can’t thank Meyer’s enough for providing detailed guidance for Northern light watching which was our main purpose of the trip. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Fairbanks.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Comfy Caribou Lodge in Fairbanks, Alaska. The experience was nothing short of magical. Amazing
The property location is perfect! Not too far from town but far enough for peace and quiet. The cabin is nicer than the pictures indicate!! We had the Northern Lights 5 out of the 7 nights at the cabin and all we had to do was look out the window and stand on the porch!! Cabin has all of the necessities. Book this property! You will not be disappointed.

Perfect Spot
Comfy Caribou Lodge was a perfect spot to stay for us and our friends. The Lodge is far enough away from Fairbanks to have skies dark enough to view the Aurora and see wildlife but close enough to go in to town for groceries and to explore. The Lodge was very clean and spacious, offered everything we needed. Dace called us a few times to give extra information because we had a heavy snowfall and he arranged for someone to clear the drive. The Spencer's are very kind and helpful. Loved the Comfy Caribou Lodge.

Game night gang getaway
This cabin was the perfect place for the six of us seniors. We managed to cross off a bucket list item with this trip. Meera and Spencer are fantastics hosts. They have provided everything you need for a wonderful stay in Alaska. The cabin is beautiful! You are truly in the middle of nature sitting on the porch. Such a peaceful place! We saw lots of birds and animals and managed to see the light show on our last night there. If you are looking for that perfect Alaskan experience this is the place!!

The best rental of our vacation.
The owner was very kind, calling us to make sure everything was as we expected upon arrival, leaving welcome card and goodies. All bedrooms are on 2nd floor, so if you have a handicapped person you may not be able to stay here. But, we definitely will recommend this VRBO. You can see the northern lights from the porch, which was a plus. House was like in new condition.

Great stay
We had a great stay at this property. It had everything anyone could just about need. There was even bug spray and a first aid kit. The accommodations were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was great. We saw the Aurora two out of the three nights we were there in early September. Be advised it is located about 15 minutes away from town, but we wanted to be away from the city lights. If we are ever in Fairbanks again, we would definitely stay there.

Perfect cabin stay!
We were looking flr a unique stay in Fairbanks and of course to see the Northern Lights. Right when we checked in the property owner made sure we knew the right side to look and a link to monitor the skies. It was the perfect view point and a great cabin to stay in. Very lovely log home out of the main part of the town-it was very peaceful. Our next trip to Fairbanks-as we will be having plenty- we will stay there again! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home. We had to cook a BBQ dinner (which we hosted at the Pioneer Pavilion) for 50+ people and we were able to handle that just fine in the homes kitchen. Having a few bathrooms was also very helpful as we got to help the groomsman and best man all get ready. Hoy Family

Amazing home!
We have stayed at many homes in many different places and we all agree that this has been our favorite! This home mixes Alaskan charm with all the modern amenities you would want. It’s a beautiful, spacious home that feels completely secluded even though you can be at a store in ten minutes. The owners were wonderful and had great communication. On Saturday morning we lost partial power and within a half an hour they had an electrician out to fix it. It is very obvious that the owners care deeply about their home and the guests staying here. The only negative thing I can say is that we had to leave!

Spotlessly clean and well-furnished home
The home's location is perfect, enough out of town that it is quiet and peaceful yet close enough that it's easy to get to the grocery store or airport. Ate at Ivory Jack's one night, which is 3 minutes away. A worthwhile place to check out. The house is well furnished and as I said in the title spotlessly clean. Communication with the owners was very easy. WiFi works well. I appreciated that both the front porch and back porch were furnished and again clean.
