More on the Location:
Sippewissett is an area of West Falmouth located along the Buzzards Bay coast. The neighborhood is safe, beautiful, and quiet. Perfect for a family vacation.
Woods Hole, famous for its science community and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, is practically next door. Woods Hole also has fantastic dining and entertainment options for the whole family.
Downtown Falmouth and its shopping, restaurants, etc. are also very close by.
Classic Cape Cod towns and their villages (and their beaches, shopping, dining, sightseeing) like Bourne, Sandwich, Mashpee, Hyannis, and more are very close for you to explore.
The ferry to Martha’s Vineyard departs from right down the street in Woods Hole, making for an exceptional day trip.
The breathtaking beaches and nature of Truro and Chatham (watch out for the Great Whites!), or the art/culture/food of Provincetown are excellent day trips.
Traveling with Infants and Toddlers: We have not baby-proofed or toddler-proofed the home/property for safety. However, the home welcomes your little ones. We can offer some amenities (pack n play, high chair, etc.). However, we kindly ask that you reach out to us via the app to discuss.
FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY LIMITATIONS: The first floor features a full bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a full/double-sized bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds. We recommend that only individuals without mobility limitations access the basement for laundry or the upstairs bedrooms.
Pets: The homeowners have agreed to consider hosting your pets. Please reach out to us to share some details about your furry friend(s) to confirm this arrangement. There may be a reasonable pet fee associated with these stays.

//House Guidelines (“rules”)
Please be kind to the home and the property. We understand you are on vacation, and we want you to relax and have a great time! However, we kindly ask that you treat the home as if it were your own family vacation home. Additionally, other guests want to enjoy the space as it was intended. Please practice common cleanliness and courtesy with the items in and around the home. We greatly appreciate this!
TRASH - On Monday mornings (or Sunday evenings) please bring trash and recycling from the side of the garage out to the curb. Recycling comes every other Monday (please see the recycling calendar on the last page of this booklet). If your stay falls on a Monday when recycling is scheduled to be picked up, please bring the blue recycling bin out to the curb as well (when in doubt, bring both barrels out). Please return the empty receptacles to the side of the garage. (If an observed holiday falls on a Monday, trash may be delayed by 1 day. Pick-up will then be on Tuesday morning instead of Monday morning). It is important to bring the trash out each week, so the next guest has space for their trash.
Holidays are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Patriots Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day & Indigenous People’s Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Please dispose of food items in the receptacles. Food in the yard attracts pests. We appreciate your help with this.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE SEPTIC. The system is the last line of defense between waste and the local environment. Flushing ANYTHING other than toilet paper will jeopardize the system. Thank you!
No candles or any other open flames permitted in the home. There are flashlights available if there is a power outage (see safety).
No parties (small gatherings are fine).
When enjoying the patio (outdoors), we prefer you to use plastic cups. Broken glass can be tough to spot, and we don’t want anyone to get a cut. There is plastic glassware available in the kitchen.
Be considerate of neighbors who may need to work in the morning and have young children.
If utilizing the A/C or heat in the home, please make sure the windows/doors are closed. This will minimize energy waste. (Nightly rates are directly tied to our costs - including utilities. If these costs rise, our nightly rates will likely rise, also).
Promptly alert ProHost® of any concerns/issues that arise during your stay. We prefer to address any matters as quickly as possible to make your stay wonderful.
If something is damaged or stained (we get it, stuff happens!) please let ProHost® know ASAP. The sooner we can assess the issue, the better chance we have of minimizing the extent of the damage.
Please use paper towels to clean spills. The bath and beach towels should not be used to clean small spills, for kids’ clean-up, or for makeup removal.
Some days may require that we (or the homeowner/vendor) come on-site to mow the lawn or tend to maintenance of the property. If we require access to the house (inside), we will do our very best to give you a heads-up prior to arrival. This would be an unusual situation. Falmouth Heights Landscaping Co. usually mow on Thursdays or Fridays.
Please read the check-out instructions (section 14) in this booklet to review some items that are very helpful to us before your departure. These small requests help us keep the home nice and provide a better experience for the next guests. We thank you for your help!
//Safety Information (please read carefully)
There is one security camera outside facing the driveway only. This will be reviewed only if there are issues, or if neighbors call ProHost® to report a party or suspicious activity.
Be VERY careful around the grill. Please keep kids away from the grill and other potential hazards.
There is a fire extinguisher under the kitchen sink in the event of an emergency.
Please ensure all doors are locked if you venture off the property or when you go to sleep. When leaving the home, all doors should be locked. We also suggest locking your car doors at night if you have any valuables inside (low risk but a good practice).
Be mindful of POISON IVY / POISON OAK and thorns (mainly located at the edges of the yard and through the path). We've done our best to minimize these plants, but they are stubborn. Please wear shoes on the path to Goodwill Park. A case of poison ivy is not fun! "LEAVES OF THREE, LET IT BE!"
The grill may light with the ignite push button. However, if that is not working, please carefully light using the extended lighter provided in the kitchen drawer. Please ensure the grill and gas tank valves are turned off when cooking is complete. When the grill has cooled off, please cover the grill to protect it from the elements.
Ticks are prevalent on Cape Cod (especially in the Spring/Summer/Fall). We suggest doing a tick check each evening.
In the event of a POWER OUTAGE, we provide a flashlight in each room. We suggest charging your devices in advance if storms are reported to hit the Falmouth area.
Coyotes – Falmouth is known to have a coyote population, especially during the summer months. Please use caution at night.
The living room fireplace under the TV is non-functional. Please do not use this fireplace under any circumstance.
// House Tips
HVAC / Temperature – The thermostats (for heat use only) are located in the first floor hallway and the 2nd floor king bedroom. This is useful for off-season renters only. In the Summer months, the heat will remain “off”, and the temperature can be controlled using the AC window and portable units. There is a unit in each bedroom, and the living room. Please do not remove
