Misty Pines- Lake Michigan Public Beach Access!

Location, Location, Fun! This 3 bedroom house on Lakeshore drive is a walkable .5 miles to Pier Cove Beach on Lake Michigan next to Saugatuck. Take a drive into the town of Saugatuck or Douglas and be there in less than 10 minutes to enjoy the many fine restaurants, Bars and shops that the town has to offer. This cottage is even closer to MANY wineries,Brewery's, and Orchards that have taken off in West Michigan. If you want to stay in you can cook in the gourmet galley kitchen with dining table for 8, play games inside or out, have fun in the game room in the basement or sit by a fire in the side yard. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the two decks or inside in the nook off the kitchen. This home also has an enormous back yard for outside activities including frisbee golf! The Primary bedroom has a queen bed with a tv and a loft with a floor couch and a desk. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a TV. The third bedroom has a full bed. All the TV's are smart TV's for streaming services and Sonos speakers throughout the house and in the game room. Large couch in the living room for everyone to relax. The first bathroom has a walk in shower. The second bedroom has a shower/tub combo. This home was fully renovated in 2023 and is amazing! Interurban provides rides picking up on the corner of 124th.

By renting this cottage the below is agreeing to the following terms:

Rental Rules (RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED):

1.) All of our rentals are non-smoking.
2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items.
3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed. There is Parking for 4 cars at the cottage. Cars can not be parked on the street of Lakeshore Drive at anytime.
4.) Do not move the furniture.
5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.
6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $1500 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.
7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility.
8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items.
9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.
10.) Quiet time is after 11pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night. If enjoying the fire pit in the evening please keep voices down so that the neighbors are not bothered.
11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.
12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than 1.5 times the maximum occupancy of the cottage.
15.) Fireworks are prohibited at all times.
16.) Do not set anything on the shuffleboard or gaming table. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the guest.
17.) If there is firewood available you are welcome to use it however it is not provided. Please only use the new fire pit and not the old one. Never leave a fire unattended at anytime inside in the wood burning stove or outside in the firepit.
18.). Although all rules are strictly enforced if there are any issues with parking or noise it can lead to immediate eviction without refund.
*Disclosure: There may be cameras with sound at outside entrances of cottages ONLY.

These rules are strictly enforced due to NEW city and township ordinances. This contract is the only warning you will get. If any rules are not followed all local fines, security deposits and any other charges will be charged to guest and the entire group will be asked to vacate the property. This communication is necessary so that your vacation experience is a good one for your group and our neighboring community. Please ENJOY your stay!
