Not a luxury property
I really wanted to rate this house higher. At first glance, it looks just like the pictures, but upon closer inspection, there were several issues. The walls had stains, the master bathroom shower was missing a door, and the body of water behind the pool looked unsanitary. We also noticed random boards with nails sticking out, which felt unsafe. The master bathroom toilet was propped on a wooden block and didn’t seem stable.Initially, there was no hot water, but the host was responsive via text and guided us on how to fix it. There was also a strong foul odor on the second floor, making one bedroom unusable. The host did offer to send someone to address it, but they could only come the next day, and we were not comfortable having strangers in the house while we were out.Pros: The pool was great, and the location was excellent, just a five-minute walk to a lovely beach and close to Pompano Pier.One thing to note is that the neighborhood is undergoing renovations, so there was significant construction noise throughout the day from multiple surrounding properties. Since we spent most of our time at the beach, it wasnt a major issue for us.Overall, this house has a lot of potential, its spacious I would call it a five-bedroom, with a pool table, air hockey, poker table, and TVs everywhere. However, it really needs some attention and maintenance. With a bit of care, it could be a nice property
