FYI - The past 2 hurricanes - Helene and Milton - did no damage to my home in Cape Coral. So come and relax and enjoy some fun in the sun and great weather at my home in the beautiful Cape Coral.

Welcome to our home we lovingly call Captains Paradise!! Captains Paradise is located in the highly sought-after Pelican area of Cape Coral, FL. Our 2 bedroom, 2 full bath duplex sleeps up to 6 people and is fully furnished including all bed linens, blankets, bath towels, hand towels and wash rags along with beach towels, kitchen items and much more. The curtains in all the rooms are black out curtains which will give you a great night’s sleep.

Captains Paradise is located close to Cape Harbour's shopping, dining, and boating. And also conveniently located less than a minute away from restaurants, shops, doctors, a Publix supermarket and Walgreens. We are also close to the downtown area that offers additional dining, shopping, and a great nightlife. For the adults, discover an abundance of bars and restaurants for endless entertainment. For the entire family, Cape Coral Beach is just a short 10 minute drive away and Ft Myers Beach is only 30 minutes away. We are about 35 minutes or so from RSW (Ft. Myers) airport and about 30 minutes to the Punta Gorda airport. It is also easily accessible to Baseball venues and Jet Blue Park.

Experience all that Cape Coral has to offer with fun in the sun during the day or our night time entertainment and then come back “home” to our unique Southwest Florida home to rest and relax. You’re Home Away from Home is the entire side of a duplex with it’s own private entrance. Unwind here and enjoy our tropical paradise and relax from your day’s fun activities. Whether you're an individual, a couple, a small group, or a family looking for a fun-filled vacation, a traveling healthcare worker, a contract laborer looking for a couple weeks to even several months to call home while working here or a snowbird seeking a long-term stay, Captains Paradise is the perfect choice for your stay.

Captains Paradise has vaulted ceilings in the living room with a ceiling fan that will keep the living area very cool. The living room has a very large and comfortable sectional that offers plenty of seating space and a 65 inch flat screen smart tv and a DVD Player to play one of over 200 DVD movies of all genres that we have provided for your enjoyment. If you’re in game mode, we have lots of games located in the end table by the couch and in the tv stand under the tv. There is also free WIFI with a speed of

The master bedroom has coffered ceilings, a ceiling fan, a queen size bed with a full size dresser, a 50 inch flat screen tv, a DVD Player, a Fire Stick and a leather love seat. The master bedroom has a large Walkin closet and a private bathroom with a large Walkin shower with grab bars for security in getting in and out of the shower. We have also included a hair dryer, a first aid kit which is located under the sink and a small bottle of Aloe Vera Gel in the medicine cabinet to help with the sunburn (if you got sunburned from your days activities) till you can get to Walgreens just down the street to get a larger bottle – all for your convenience.

The Guest Bedroom offers a unique style bunk bed that is 2 full size beds with stairs on the end of the bunk bed instead of a ladder to make it easier to get to the top bunk, a ceiling fan, a flat screen tv and a DVD Player. There is also an iron and ironing board that is located in the closet.

Our home features a fully stocked and equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances including a full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, microwave, range and dishwasher. We also have stainless steel pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, all the cutlery you will need, glasses – drinking glasses, juice glasses, cocktail glasses, coffee cups and much more, cutting boards, baking pans, cookie sheets, mixing bowls, toaster, crock pot and much more – everything you would need or want to cook a big meal for the family or make a snack. There is also a coffee maker that makes a full pot of coffee or will make only a cup if that’s what you prefer. There is also have a high chair and plates and silverware for small children.

Captains Paradise features a full size washer and dryer located in the garage as well as 2 bicycles in the garage for you to ride. We have included helmets for your safety when riding along with bicycle locks so you can lock the bike up if you ride it to a restaurant or to the grocery store. We have also included beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers for your use whether you go to the beach or if you want to go fishing.

We have just updated our backyard area. We have installed a 6 ft privacy fence and new sod to make the lawn beautiful and plush. Additionally we have installed a fire pit area with multiple seating and a sand box for the enjoyment of the younger members of the family. We have provided a cover for the fire pit and ask that when it is not in use that it be kept covered to help protect the fire pit itself from the weather. We have also provided a cover for the sand box to keep it clean from the neighbors tree that “sheds” into the sand. There is also a small rake to use to level the sand out when necessary to help the younger members of your family enjoy the sand box more.

To get you started with your stay, we have provided a toiletry starter kit that includes 1 bag of ground coffee for your first morning there, 1 extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 extra roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags for the kitchen trash can (the smaller trash cans I use the grocery bags), 2 pods of dishwasher soap, liquid soap for handwashing dishes if you have just a few you want to do, 2 pods of clothes washing detergent, 2 dryer sheets, 2 sheets for the Swiffer Dust Mop, 2 bottles of water, a small packet of sanitizer wipes and a snack for your enjoyment.

To make your check-in process as smooth as possible, we have installed a smart lock on the front door of our home. Once you book with us, we'll provide you with a unique door code that you can use to enter and exit the property throughout your stay. Along with the door code, we'll also send you detailed check-in and check-out instructions to ensure you have everything you need for a hassle-free arrival and departure. Additionally, we offer parking for up to two vehicles in the driveway for your convenience

PETS - Small dogs under 30 pounds are allowed (fees apply). However, cats are not allowed. We do ask that you please sweep up if your furbaby sheds a lot and please don’t allow them on the furniture. There is a pooper scooper for you to pick up after them in the back yard. Plus, to give your furbaby easy access to the fenced in backyard there is a doggie door in the lanai screen for them as well as a doggie door that can be put into the sliding door.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
There is a Guide Book available when you arrive at our home. It is in a small 3 ring binder and it contains suggestions on the best Shopping places, Golf Courses, Beaches and water activities like Boat rentals plus suggestions for places to eat out or places to see that are unique to our area. Also we have a Guest Book that we have provided for our guests to sign. It’s always interesting to look at and read about others that have visited us – what they did while in Cape Coral, what they may have liked the best while here and where they may have come from. If you have any questions about booking our home or the area please message me and I will be more than happy to talk to you! Additionally, after or during your stay if you think of something that will make my home better for your next stay or other guests when they come, I am always open to learning. I have learned many things from my guests, things I would’ve never thot about if they hadn’t mentioned it.

We had the pleasure of communicating with Pam during our stay at the property. She is the owner, was very accommodating and was there for us. I say that because we were staying at her property when Hurricane Milton came to town. We had to evacuate and when we came back to her property, Pam refunded the days we were unable to use. We would definitely stay at her property again in the future.

Absolutely Fantastic
We absolutely loved our stay here. The property manager was phenomenal and so easy to contact/communicate with. The home was clean and well maintained. It was spacious and had more than enough room for everyone. The kids loved playing in the backyard just to stretch and loved relaxing in the lanai. The location wasn't ideal (it was located off a main road and could be tricky to get into the driveway) but we were so busy during the day doing other activities that the location wasn't an issue for us. We had so much fun here. We even made a movie night where everyone just stretched out on the couch and relaxed! It was so nice! A fantastic home away from home! We are definitely keeping this as an option when it comes to future stays! Thank you so much!

Cape Coral Gem
We stayed at this cute 2 bedroom, 2 bath duplex located in Cape Coral. Pam was a wonderful host, keeping us updated with details about check-in and check-out. Each was so easy and organized. We visited Edison Ford Winter Homes, went to a Minnesota Twins/St. Louis Cardinals spring trading game, visited friends in Naples and went to Captiva to the beach (and visited a flea market and farmers’ market). We were able to get groceries and snacks nearby. Just a warning - traffic to Captiva is a bear!!!!! When leaving the island it took us 45 minutes to go 1.3 miles. But shell hunting on an island was on the itinerary of this trip. Sure enjoyed our stay at Captain’s Paradise with Pam as our host.

Wonderful place
My house was being renovated due to hurricane damage, and I stayed about a week at this lovely duplex. It was relaxing and comfortable and much easier than being in a hotel and having to go out for meals. I had my groceries delivered and had a chance to eat what I wanted and rest. I would recommend this duplex to anyone. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. Pam went above and beyond to make my stay as easy as possible, as I am handicapped. She was a wonderful host. Thank you to Pam.

Enjoyed our stay
We normally stay in the Fort Myers beach area. So, this was our first time staying in Cape Coral. It worked out great! It is a beautiful well kept condo. And the location was perfect. Cape Coral is a pretty town and we enjoyed staying there. We drove to many different places and went down to the Fort Myers beach and enjoyed the sunshine. And then looked forward to coming back to this place and relaxing. And communication with the owner was easy. She answers right away. She want's to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Property had all the necessary conveniences. We did miss not having a BBQ grill. The host was in contact many times and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Our only dislike was the location on a busy main road, which produced a lot of traffic noise.
