3 B/R, 2 bath (bidet seats!), 1500 sf Cowboy Cottage -1920's home, just 2 short blocks to the top side of Stockyards. 8 min drive to Sundance Sq/7th St. Dickies Arena. Newly renovated-new appliances, bedrm sets/mattresses. Re-done original hardwood floors. Lg scrn TV & 4.1 surround sound sys. WiFi. Security sys. Cozy front porch w/ 8’ cedar fenced property. Master and guest B/R with queen beds. 3rd B/R with 2 sets of bunks (twin/twin & twin/full)

For larger groups (up to 15), we have our Cowboy Cabin guesthouse in back, on this same property.

The Cabin is priced for 4, and sleeps up to 6. Two bedrooms(queens), one bath. Also a queen size fold out futon sofa with comfy 8 inch mattress.

-No Smoking in the house. Outside ok.

The Cottage is priced for 6 people, ....but can sleep 9. 2 of the BR's each have a queen bed, and the 3rd BR has a full size.....plus we can comfortably accommodate 3 more in bunks.

Our Cowboy Cottage is literally a 5 minute walk to Rodeo Exchange, at the top side of the Stockyards!

Mostly all Stockyards parking charges $15 . If you don't want to walk the short distance, or weather isn't cooperating, a $6 or $7 Uber ride will get you there in no time...!

Note: As I do with all my AirBnb's, I have personally stayed at this property 6 or 7 times, before listing it, and have walked back and forth to the stockyards everytime....during the daytime, early evening, and late night coming
back. I have walked by myself and with others. In my experience, I can tell you that its an easy, and safe walk, with street lights.

2nd Note: If this property doesn't work for you, check out our Stockyards Cowboy Cabin...Sleeps 4 +2.....in back of this Cowboy Cottage......or our Stockyards Ranch House........Sleeps 6, and can accommodate up to 8 (sofa bed), with an extra half bath, 2-car garage, private fenced yard and 2050 sf. There is a security system on the property. Guests can use it or not. You will receive the disarm code via message, the morning of your arrival.

There are 2 cameras
along the side entry driveway, and a Ring doorbell at front door

No cameras are inside the house

Note: A main feature and attraction of this home is the short walking distance to the Stockyards, and all the local attractions people come to see. Yet the home is located in a quiet, working-class residential neighborhood.

As such......full disclosure here...there will be some local traffic noise by the house during rush hours, as residents travel to work in the morning, and
back home late afternoon/early evening. Also, sometimes during "social hours"

So please be fair.... and not ding us for this in your review, as we are being fully transparent regarding this, in several locations of this listing.

Also please remember that you’re staying in a house, and not an on-site, fully staffed hotel. Thus, If any problems/issues arise, contact us and we will do our best to take action ASAP.

Finally, there is a small guest house in the rear of the property (Cowboy Cabin/Shack), that will occasionally accommodate Airbnb guests. Thus, the property access driveway/gate....and rear parking area is shared, but parking spaces are assigned. Thanks!

First time staying in Fort Worth Stockyards. Beautiful home! Very comfortable. Owner was available the whole time. Walking distance to Stockyards. Parking in back or on street. If you have a big truck recommend backing in for easy out. Not much room to turn around (we have a big truck). Very safe neighborhood. Literally were 1 1/2 blocks from Exchange St. We walked home well after midnight every night. I would highly recommend this rental for the Stockyards.

Great location !
My sister and I stayed for a short visit to the Stockyards area and this house was very comfortable - it met our needs perfectly. We enjoyed having coffee & breakfast each morning before going out for sighseeing. This house is about 2 blocks to the heart of the Stockyards with lots of shopping, restaurants, & interesting things to see. We felt secure and liked the roominess of the house.

Very nice house, great for a friends weekend. Location is nice in terms of walking distance from stock yards, however the neighborhood seems a bit iffy. One of the nicest houses on the block that is for sure. Would stay again.

Perfect location!
I would definitely stay at this property again! Everything from walking to the Stockyards, to check in, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and communication was top notch. I felt safe with the gate locks and alarm system. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be close to the Stockyards.

Great stay for Cowboys game
We went on a guys trip for a cowboys game and to visit the stockyards. Walking distance to the stockyards was great. House was well appointed and clean. Host was extremely responsive and check in was a breeze. Will definitely book again!

Great Location
Very clean place. The neighborhood looked kinda iffy but we did not have any trouble. And we walked back from stockyards late at night. The teenage boys walked back alone without any trouble. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Perfect place for our group
We rented both places on this property. This one and the little house in the back that has 2 bedrooms. The house was perfect for our group. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We spent the weekend going to The Stockyards, so the location was great. It was just a short walk. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We would rent again if we come back.

We rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate a college graduation. Check in was very easy. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but we expected that being so close to the Stockyards. The neighbors were friendly and we felt completely safe walking to and from the Stockyards, even late at night, with several bags from shopping. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. The washing machine came in handy as we didn’t want to pack up dirty clothes to take home. The bedrooms were nicely appointed with extra pillows and blankets and televisions. The living room was comfortable enough for most of us to sit and talk. The bathrooms were very clean. We did enjoy sitting in the front porch in the morning and in the evenings. We have recommended this house to several friends who want to visit The Stockyards. We had a wonderful visit and will rent this house when we come back.

This property was comfortable for our family of five plus two grandparents to spend a few days in the Fort Worth area. The only thing that could have made this property better was a dish washer, but otherwise excellent property to stay in if you are visiting the Stockyards.

The property is located in an older neighborhood however we walked to and from the stockyards late at night and felt comfortable doing so. The house was amazing. Very well done and comfortable. We will be staying here again.
