Perfect
We had the best time at this resort. We hardly wanted to leave since we had so much fun at the pools, arcade, and theatre. The unit was very comfortable, we all slept so good. We went on a fishing charter and had no problem cooking up our fish because the kitchen was so well stocked. If your going to Galveston, I highly recommend this rental.

Nice but needs some maintenance
This property is super nice, easy, and clean, but all the appliances need maintenance. The ice maker does not work, the fridge water filter needs to be changed, and the dishwasher doesn't work. We did not try the washer/dryer because we had read previous reviews, so we avoided that altogether. We would definitely stay there again if those appliances were fixed.

Great place but most appliances are broken
Took the family to Galveston for beach vacation. Location was great. The condominium itself has great pools and amenities. Also great places right by where we were staying. The issue I had with the condo is that the dryer and dishwasher did not function at all. It’s hard to be with small kids when the dishwasher and dryer do not work. I checked other reviews and it seems both have been reported for months that they are broken but they have not been fixed. I wouldn’t think it would take months to replace a dryer and a dishwasher. They are also not expensive appliances so there really isn’t an excuse. My suggestion would be to avoid this rental since it doesn’t seem like the owner cares about this property and does not maintain it appropriately. Besides that it was good.

Nice unit, but...
The unit is nice and overall what the listing describes. I knew the dishwasher wasn't working (noted in description) but was not expecting the clothes dryer to not also be working. This was reported within an hour of checking in. First response was "Thanks for letting us know". Second was "do you want it fixed?" There was no further action taken. The end result was half a day of our vacation at a laundromat instead of the beach. So if the listing still (after a year!) says the dishwasher is broken, assume the other appliances are too. The overall property was fine and would use it again.

Indoor pool disappointing
This was third time at this resort, and all three condos have been nice but two of three stays got the same story-"the indoor pool heater broke yesterday". At this time of year, this was the main activity planned with our grandchildren. Also remote to main TV in room was not working and took greater than 24 hours to get fixed. Too expensive for us not to have these amenities and asked to be reimbursed for part of stay but have not heard back. Others staying there with children were likewise disappointed. Contact (phone text) at one point told us indoor pool was not heated pool and we knew this to be false. Let down significantly copared to our first visit to Diamond Beach.

Great place to stay
This was a perfect little place to stay and highly recomend. The accomedations at the resort we amazing, just wish it was warm enough for the lazy river/outdoor pool. My only issue (which could have been avoided if I would have reached out) was the thermostate would not hold at the lower temp we wanted and we would get really warm overnight and we would have to turn it down over and over. But again, probably could have been resolved easily. We recommend and would stay again.

Beachfront Condo
The condo and resort was clean and quiet. The pool area was great also. Condo was stocked with everything promised except beach chairs. There was only 1 for the 2 of us and after calling Vacasa to ask for another we were assured someone locally would be bringing one. That did not happen so it put a damper on our beach time.

My husband and I stayed for a birthday getaway. The views are spectacular and the resort makes it easy to relax. Beach access if you have issues walking is a bit difficult, staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable and easy ride down to the main Seawall.

Weekend trip
Booked this property based off of a friends recommendation. Great location, loved the view. We did enjoy the condo, even thought the dishwasher was broken, the towels were gross, and there was a faint, unpleasant smell when walking through the front door. The pool and lazy river are amazing, however there were very view floats available for the lazy river. The swim-up bar was only open for a few hours during the 3 days that we were there. The water slide was not open at all. Would stay at this property again.

Diamond Beach #516
We loved our stay in room #516. The amenities were fantastic and the staff was very helpful. We loved the location of the condo. We would definitely like to return again next year. Just a few notes but not any deal breakers: 1. The 2 tvs in the bedrooms would not work right. The master bedroom tv I think it was a cable thing and the other bedroom was missing a remote. 2. The front bathroom would not let us fill the tub( my daughter likes baths). 3. Also the ceiling above the first bathroom leaked about a gallon of water in the evening hours of Monday. We called maintenance and gave a report. We found a bucket and placed it under the leak. 4. The fire alarm also went off like 2 times on Sunday night. Everything always has a few hiccups but I still rated our experience overall a 10 out of 10. Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Kids loved the bunk bed/trundle combo. Enough family-friendly amenities, you don't have to leave the resort unless you want to. Highly recommend.

Galveston Getaway
The Diamond Beach property was a great choice for our 3 day stay in Galveston. The condo was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The pools and lazy river were wonderful and we had so much fun in the game room. The location and view were perfect! Only a few drawbacks… there was no dishwasher and there is a really nice soaker tub but it was broken (had to use the shower instead.) Still, I would definitely recommend the property to others who will be visiting the area.

The unit looked updated which was nice. However the dishwasher door is super heavy and fell to floor many times, a danger to kids. There were tvs but xfinity was not working and not usable, which disappointed kids. Master bathroom toilet lever was hard to operate and was super noisy. While the numerous outdoor amenities were very appealing, they felt grungy. Outdoor pool was too cold to use this time of year.

Spring Break Recharge
This condo was prefect for our family of 3 for a Spring Break get away. We played on the beach, enjoyed the hot tubs, and splashed in the indoor heated pool as the outdoor water was still a bit chilly in March. The game room was a great escape for the kiddo and the location was conveniently located near Moody Gardens, restaurants, and the Sea Wall. The beds were most comfortable and the living spaces were also comfortable and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us!

Hot room
The ac would not cool room more than 75 degrees. The ac unit quit working the afternoon after my sons surgery. I called and was told to try the breaker that the unit flips it. It was flipped but still would not work when we corrected that and it was midnight before someone came out. The guy said the wire was burned into that he fixed it but unit on roof so dirty starved unit for air said he was not allowed to clean so unit still would not cool much. We contacted back and was just told ok. No one fixed it. One hot tub was closed and the indoor pool. The king bed took up the entire space and we hit our legs on the boards sticking out all the way around it. Horrible beds. Pans are in useable. The hangers so I bought the unit some and left them. Had to clean the bathroom before use. I am not a picky person so if you are never stay here
