Breathtaking Views from the entire house!
It was absolutely lovely! The house was wonderful with breathtaking views from Living Area, Kitchen, Bedrooms - even the master bath - perfect design to enjoy the beautiful location. November proved to be perfect time to visit as far as the weather. The house was stocked with everything we needed; I could have packed much lighter, but I'll know for the next time. The Property manager/owner was very responsive to any request. It was our 25th wedding anniversary,and we're thinking it needs to be an annual visit - we loved it!

Perfect family vacation home
We had a wonderful family vacation weekend at Blue Heron Hideaway. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed…including kid friendly dishes. The house was stocked with plenty of paper goods, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so we never had to run to the store for things that weren’t supplied. The deck and the view are amazing! When we weren’t wandering the beach, we spent hours on the deck, enjoying the sunrise and sunset and listening to the waves and enjoying the breeze after dark. The owner was very welcoming. We can’t wait to go back. We were hoping to stay here again for Thanksgiving, but it was already booked. Thanks for a wonderful time!

The host is incredibly helpful and giving communication prior to the stay during the day and follow through. Our family had a wonderful time with lots of memories. The location is fantastic. You feel like you have your own private beach. The views are amazing and the locals were so friendly!

Beautiful Deck!!!
Overall a great stay! Had a stay with 5 adult family members. Deck is an A+. Kitchen and the rest of the home is well stocked and clean! . Kitchen could use up dating. Frig is sidebyside if that is important to you vs another style. Overall, I would stay here again if I was coming to stay in Galveston. I would suggest cutting back on the scented laundry detergent for sheets and towels because it can be overwhelming.

Great house!
We had an awesome quick weekend stay at the house. The directions ahead of time made getting in easy peasy. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked. The balcony/porch is amazing. It has shade in the afternoon and a perfect breeze all day. The kids could run and play all over safely, and the adults got to take in the awesome sights and sounds of the beach. The entrance to the beach though the dunes was easy. The mosquitoes were much thicker than we anticipated, but the house had bug spray which was a nice touch. Our only minor issues (for full transparency) were that there was animal hair on a lot of the furniture. Also the grill was in pretty bad shape, so we ended up cooking inside. All of that being said, we would come back again!

Outstanding experience
We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful beach home! And a home it definitely is from all the minute decorating details to all the extra amenities. It was an awesome place to spend a relaxing vacation. The location is perfect -- close to Galveston and all its activities but on the beach in Sea Isle with its quiet beauty. We spent many hours just sitting on the deck and enjoying the ocean view or taking walks on the beach with our dog. Eating breakfast on the deck became a morning ritual. The hosts were also very nice and responsive to any questions. We would definitely recommend staying at the Blue Heron Hideaway, and we hope to do so again soon!

Great getaway
We wanted a short (4 days) vacation in May before all the summer crowds showed up. We spent our time relaxing on the deck and watching and listening to the waves. This was a great choice for us. We cooked all of our meals in, except we did visit Gaido’s one evening. We will be back!

Beautiful Home on the Beach!
My wife and I shared our stay with my sister and brother in law and had a great time on the beach. The home is fully furnished with everything you would need, with plenty of seating both inside and outside on the deck. Location cannot be beat as is directly on the beach with ideal views and easy beach access. Unlike many other beach houses, this home has 2 bedrooms directly facing the ocean with access to the deck, so is an ideal choice for two couples or families. We did not use the 3rd bedroom as there were only 4 of us, but this room was set up with bunkbeds so would easily fit multiple children. Check in was a breeze with great communication and wifi / tv instructions provided, and home was extremely clean.

Absolutely Amazing
As others have stated, I was skeptical while reading reviews with the perfect 5 stars, but I have to say this home deserves more. The home is beautiful and is in an amazing location on a private section of the beach so no cars can drive on the beach. The outside seating is ideal with some chairs in the sun and some in the shade. The inside decor is perfect for a beach house and the beds are very comfortable. We grilled out and had champagne on the deck for an overall amazing vacation. We will definitely be back again!

Great relaxing weekend!
We chose this home to remember and honor my brother and enjoy a weekend with family in his memory. It was perfect! Right off the beach for the kids to enjoy. Amazing view from deck for the adults to enjoy and watch the sunrise and set daily. Perfect destination for a weekend getaway!
