Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located apartment located in historic downtown Galveston! Just a block or two from everything you're going to want to visit downtown, this location is tough to beat. Built in 1917, the League Lofts have been the ideal place to live for over a century, and now they're being offered to you!! Designed and furnished in 2022, the apartment will comfortably sleep up to 5, with everything you're going to need to enjoy your Galveston getaway!! THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS!

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal.

Beach access: Less than a 4 minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: One pet is welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: Paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Parties and events are prohibited.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The Area
The building that was advertised looks nothing like the building we stayed in. I gives old and run down homeless people everywhere. No parking there is no where to park other than the 2 every hour parking or the sides down the block far from the building. The floors make so much noise and the bed is very bad quality cheaply made everything is run down!!! and the other half of the building is vacant There was stains on the pillowcase!!! and no Elevators we had a family member that just had surgery he was crawling up the stairs to the THIRD FLOOR!!! crazy crazy If you are looking for something cheap and quick this is for you .

Great Gal Pal getaway Weekend
Four of us, ladies, stayed here this past weekend, and we had a blast. The condo was just as the pictures showed on the VRBO, and we were impressed with how responsive Russell, the host, was. Would gladly stay again as the location was excellent and it was very clean!

Neat place!
Our stay was just one night. We loved the decor and whole feel of the unit. We did have some trouble with the beds being somewhat rickety - may need to tighten screws. The elevator was not working so a bit of a problem for my sister in law who has Parkinson’s. Overall, it was very nice. We were appreciative of the coffee for the coffee pot, could have used some creamer and sweeteners but it was simple enough to get these items from the grocery store a block away. We would stay again!

Very convenient location to Opera House and Strand. Charming lofts that take advantage of the architectural features of the building. Only “drawback” was the elevator was temporarily out for our stay but having a third floor unit helped us burn off our dinners!

Great place to stay!
I rented this place for a weekend of fishing for me and my family. Really nice place, very cute and clean! The location is really good as well, close to the pier and beach and shops. Would definitely consider booking here again in the future!

Portable a/c units
Arrived and the place was cute but the a/c must have gone out so the owner put two portable units in the condo. Rolled them in and rigged the tube out of the window. It was so hot we couldn’t stay there. Very disappointing because we had to pay for two places in one weekend. I feel they should have told us about the situation and gave us a choice to stay or get a refund. We were disappointed and out our money.

Good for a quick turn around.
Service and check-in process were great! The location is a little bit ‘shady,’ which isn’t the fault of the manager but is something to consider. My main concerns were the non-working elevators and having to go to the 3rd floor with luggage. Also, the beds were a bit wonky; one side of the bed was being held up by a piece of wood. Overall, the place is nice, giving off a rustic vibe, and the atmosphere is quite charming. With a little TLC, this place could be an awesome spot to stay.

The beds made lots of noise thru out the night. And the laundry machine was broken it didn’t wanted to close so it can start washing. And I thought we were getting three beds because it look like it in the pictures and it said five people sleep and for my surprise it was only two beds.

4th of July Getaway
Property is in a great location and has been updated to a provide old charm. The home smells amazing on arrival and is surface clean, however the furniture is in need of a deep cleaning along with the floors. The air conditioning is bad (Texas heat does not help), washer/dryer broken, thin bedding, no extra blankets and coffee pot needs service and when requested extra towels since the washer/dryer was broken it literally took till 4:30 pm when request before 9am. The good part is the host was quick to respond, sent maintenance to look at the unit who said I closed a vent, you’re good (we went and purchased fans). I am completely disappointed, I had hoped that the owner would have tried to make things right, offering a discount (we payed a premium for the holiday) but unfortunately I have not had a personal response after reaching out. I know it’s a risk when renting, I usually have better luck.. hope this helps someone else avoid a problem stay.

Unique old building loft with urban feel. Clean. Parking along street (no dedicated parking), and 3rd floor would be hard for elderly (no elevator) or with very much luggage/groceries. Definitely not for light sleepers. Older building and floor creaks with every step, and choice of iron beds means noise with any movement.
