This home has a spectacular gulf view from the kitchen and living room and Master bedroom. 3 bedroom 2 bath sleeps 10. Floor plan includes Master bedroom with Master bathroom, queen bedroom and a bunk bed room with 2 bunk beds. One has 2 queen bunk beds and one has 2 twin bunk beds .Kitchen is fully stocked. All beds are made for you. Sheets and linens provided at no charge. Huge deck overlooking the Gulf with plenty of seating. Back deck off the Master bedroom overlooks the inter coastal canal. Picnic table, 3 tables and seating for 16 below the house plus a bar. Golf cart access to the beach. WIFI included with 50" Roku television in living room and a tv in the Master bedroom.

Clean, quiet, off the beaten path
Our host was super helpful and welcoming. House is right on the beach, so sitting on the deck or opening the living room door and listening to the waves is delightful. There is one house next door, but otherwise the house isolated from others. We loved visiting the nearby Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary and seeing LOTS of egrets, spoonbills, and alligators. We also loved driving to the free ferry and visiting Galveston. We chose to kayak Galveston Island State Park. All told, a wonderful experience and a great location for what we were looking for.

This house is in a great location right on the beach with close proximity to the grocery store and close enough to the ferry that we traveled to Galveston nearly every day. House was well maintained and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location
We stayed here with my parents and our family dog. It was right on the beach- can't get any closer!- and was exactly as advertised. You can definitely feel the house swaying, but it was really only noticeable on the back porch and wasn't so drastic as to make anyone feel seasick (I was worried it was going to feel like a cruise ship). The house had everything we needed, though a few more cooking basics (pots, pans, bigger bowls for serving) would have been appreciated as we mostly cooked in for dinner. Remember to bring other basics like aluminum foil, plastic wrap, salt/pepper, etc. as nothing is provided. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach and our stay!

This property was perfect for my wife and I (and our mini pin). Check in was a breeze, the house is located in a great beach spot with good views. The underneath bar was awesome, we spent a lot of time on the deck and downstairs at the bar area. House was very clean and neat. Will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Margenes place. It was clean, perfect location, right on the beach with only one other house next to you. We had an a/c issue and Margene was very easy to talk with and had the issue fixed within a couple of hours. Do not hesitate to book this beach house. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Margene for letting us BORROW your place for a few days and being super responsive to our calls and fixing the issue we had ! Your the best !!!

Great stay in a lovely beach house
Well appointed house right on the beach. We love staying in this area and have rented aboit 6 or 7 times in varipus houses. . I would happily rent here again. The rooms have ceiling fans and great ac and water pressure plus up to date appliances. Read the directions about what to bring. We didnt have salt but a good grocery store is nearby for anything missing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It's wonderful being so close to the beach. We hope to do this every Memorial day weekend and this beachhouse would be perfect.

We stayed April 21-26. We enjoyed birding in High Island and on Bolivar Flats. Each morning we walked over to Roll Over pass to view shorebirds. The views from the deck were lovely, relaxing and there was a nice breeze. We didn’t experience mosquitoes while dining outside. The house was nicely furnished and had ample cookware for meals cooked in house. We would stay here again during migratory season due to the proximity to multiple hot spots and the privacy, cleanliness of the property.
