Texas vacation home with huge yard and pool, close to beach

Soak in the brand new Cowboy Pool!! Tranquil and laid-back, this spacious holiday home is located in the popular Pirates Beach. With sleeping space for 18 guests— plus two master suites and a separate hang out space for the kids— there’s enough comfy square footage for everyone to kick back and find some privacy. A large, tropical outdoor space is perfect for pets and small children. With a barbeque area, outdoor shower, and a short walk to the beach, this home is pure Texas vacay bliss.

Location: Pirates Beach beach community of Galveston, Texas

Beach access: 0.3 miles from the Pirates Beach access point - 30 second drive or 5 minute walk!

Private pool: We have a Cowboy soaking pool on the ground level that can comfortably fit up to 8 people when it's time to relax and cool off.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: Up to 3 pets are welcome in our home with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Large Groups: We love hosting church groups and large family gatherings, however groups over the size of 16 guests must be approved prior to booking.


Parking: There is room for up to 6 cars in the driveway.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 16 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

great home
We needed a place to fit our family for a cheer competition and instead of hotel we stayed here. The owner was very responsive through the whole stay. We had a great time and there was plenty of room for everyone. beautiful home about 10 minutes from everything.

DON'T DO IT!
It was the review from Sept 2024 I should have heeded. This place is filthy with rot, roaches, soap scum, and funk. The couch is frat house quality, broken in several places and stained with who knows what snew. Many of the beds are literally on the floor. The bunks are uber-cheap quality many adults struggle to ascend. Linens are dollar store quality and smell like a mechanic shop. 3 of 4 restrooms didn't have trash cans (so in a house for 20 where should one place feminine products, Kleenex, qtips, tags from vacation souvenirs)? The coffee pot and one stove burner didn't work. One sliding door would neither open nor close completely. Another of the bedroom doors didn't close completely. Water for shower never got got past luke warm. Two deck boards were loose enough to trip someone. I did report these things in the message thread with beach box, and they did offer to send maintenance to look into the boards and coffee pot and stove top, however as I told them, this place needs to be shut down and SIGNIFICANTLY have some attention to it. Oh...and no balls to play in the "game room" with the fooze ball table. Just so disgusted and regretful I paid for this place.

Not like the pictures
This property needs a deep clean and refresh. Pictures are deceptive and rooms are small. There was so much rotten trash stacked up outside you had to hold your breath when getting in your car. Rickety furniture and thin hotel towels and sheets. Will not stay here again

Shabby house not vacation home
We booked this home for a family vacation .The checkin was fine but after entering the house it just went down from there. Front screen door was broken, door knob on the back door pulled right out and came apart. Bunk beds were cheap and bottom bed was on the floor. Back rooms were hot and didn't cool well at all. Pool was leaking water and making loud gurgling sounds. Parking is terrible. One of the bathrooms was a laundry room they rigged into a bathroom and bedroom you could hardly move in it. Back patio and deck was nice but no fan or lights and sting lights were hung where you couldn't plug them in so we had to rearrange them. There were ants and a lot mosquito like the zoo. The room down stairs is flooding, and stings from water , we took pictures sent to the host .old coffee grounds in the pot, a leach on the bathroom rug and a dead moth in the sheets of one of the beds. We called and text all of this to Beachbox and they gave us the runaround for two days telling us to send pictures and asked the same questions over and over like I was talking to different people every time. I was so embarrassed that I booked this place and that they would not even come fix the pool or backdoor. It was a terrible experience and I will never book with this company again. This place is old, it needs updates and when something isn't working the rental company has to reply and fix the issues but they do not. This is the only bad review I have ever left. But it had to be done. Renters

Lack of maintenance
The house is lack of maintenance and many things are old and broken. It also need some pest control service. Many of us got bites inside the room. Mosquito, flys, ants and other bugs in the house.
