Castle Hideaway à Genève

Cet appartement haut de gamme au 2ème étage (desservi par ascenseur), situé au centre-ville de Genève, NY (sur la rive nord du lac Seneca au cœur des Finger Lakes), a été récemment rénové, est entièrement meublé et équipé, et est un siège idéal pour votre séjour dans la belle région des Finger Lakes. L'appartement peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à six personnes. L'espace a un grand salon, deux chambres (également un canapé-lit), deux salles de bain et une cuisine complète. Les lits sont un roi, une reine et le canapé-lit escamotable est également une reine. À distance de marche des collèges Hobart et William Smith. Il est également assez proche de Cornell, qui est à environ 75 km.

Cet appartement dispose de deux chambres, de deux salles de bains (chacune avec leur propre douche) et d'un lit pliant. Il y a aussi une cuisine, salle à manger et laveuse et sécheuse.

La région des Finger Lakes abrite des centaines de meilleurs vins du pays. Le lac Seneca est le plus grand des lacs Finger. Genève est également proche d'un certain nombre d'attractions de la région. Syracuse et Rochester sont à moins d'une heure de route. Le casino Del Lago est à environ 24 km.
Nos clients nous ont dit qu'ils avaient été agréablement surpris par cet appartement et son emplacement. Seneca Lake Wine Tour Home Base

This place is in a great location for both local attractions along with being a great home base to access the Seneca Lake wine tour area. The place is clean, easy to access, and near multiple eating/social establishments. Parking is available, place is really nice ascetically with brick walls, high ceilings, and large windows.

Lovely apartment…just forget the elevator

The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings. Very nicely furnished. Lots of antiques and artwork which give it a homey feel. Spotless. Good value in a city where hotels are not. Entry code didn’t work, but plan b got us quickly in. We are a mobile but elderly couple and travel heavy. The apartment is second floor and many steps up. We were disappointed to hear that the elevator wasn’t functioning at the time we booked. We got the impression it was a transient issue and could be functional when we arrived. After talking to others, we suspect this can’t be relied upon any time soon. Despite being a small city, quiet in evening, Geneva starts early. Can be street traffic, trash collection or trains. If you are prepared for these realities, this is a wonderful place.

Can't beat the location

A perfect getaway

This place was way bigger than the pictures showed! It was very conveniently located and walkable to a lot of restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. The checkout process was incredibly easy and quick—no crazy cleaning required.

Great Place!

The apartment was well appointed and the location was fantastic. Walking distance of all shops, restaurants and the lake in Geneva. However, the apartment is on the second floor and the stairs are quite steep. There is an elevator but just before we arrived, we were informed the elevator was out of service and they were waiting for parts. It seemed this had been the case for quite awhile from people we spoke with. We were there 4 days and it still did not work when we left. This made for hauling luggage up and down stairs very difficult. Would not recommend if you have mobility issues.

Great place in a great location

We could not have been happier with the Castle Refuge in Geneva. It was very comfortable, clean, and well laid out and the location was perfect. Close to great restaurants and bars - with a great coffee house right down stairs. We were in town for a wedding and the ease of getting around from our temporary home was perfect. Many thanks!

A beautiful apartment

This is a HUGE apartment that is tastefully decorated with antiques and original artwork. I loved all the exposed brick and big windows in the master bedroom. The linens were very nice. It is conveniently located downtown and is across from City Hall and the post office. It's very easy to walk to all the downtown restaurants. I highly recommend this rental and will stay here again if I come back to Geneva. The only downside of being downtown is the early morning noise of delivery trucks (Monday morning) restocking the restaurants on the street level of the building and the garbage trucks (Tuesday morning). The fire stations are also located behind the building that could potentially disturb your sleep as well.

Amazing Property!!!

The location was absolutely perfect....the coffee shop downstairs opened early and was able to accommodate us prior to heading out each day. Many bars and top notch restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was spacious, super clean and very comfortable.

Great location

Updated apartment with wonderful tall ceilings and plenty of room for a family. Large kitchen and family room area. Public parking area was just a half a block away with plenty of spots to choose from and walking distance to many restaurants.

6 very good days

This is a beautiful and conveniently located property. Okay, so it is close to 2 Fire stations. Not a problem and we even chatted with several firemen. Our only complaint which is hardly really an issue, was that we were told we would receive the address and other particulars the week of our arrival. Unfortunately, we were due to arrive shortly after a long holiday weekend and being elderly (but very young elders) we worried when we were leaving to go before we had received the information. To his credit, after an email from my wife, we had the necessary information and all was well. This place is about as perfect as a rental can be. There is a wonderful coffee shop next door and restaurants all within walking distance. My wife lived it because we never cooked a meal and had many ethnic choices from which to pick. We would go back in a heartbeat. One thing, parking can be an issue as there is no assigned space, but if you walk your dog every day at home, you can move your car just as easily!

Would stay again!

Great location, parking was easy, check in was easy, loved the little courtyard to sit outside, and property was clean. Only recommendation, we think the bathrooms need a little table to put cosmetic bags on. We would definitely book again!
