Cozy mountain cabin with amazing views!

Enjoy the amazing views from this recently remodeled cabin. Enjoy the evening sitting on the large front deck overlooking the Never Summer Mountain Range while listening to the Colorado River. Or, relax in the screened in back deck while sipping coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Keep an eye out for an occasional moose or fox wandering through our property!
This cabin is located in a quiet mountain area where there is room to relax, sit by the firepit, or play games in the back with friends and/or family. If you feel like venturing into town or to one of the local lakes it is a short 5 minute drive (2 minutes to Shadow Mountain Lake, 5 minutes to downtown Grand Lake, 5 minutes to Lake Granby, 10 minutes to Downtown Granby, 20 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance , 25 minutes to Granby Ranch, 40 minutes to Winter Park).
Grand Lake is a small mountain town that has activities for everyone. Summer activities include: boating, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, swimming at the Grand Lake beach, fishing, hiking, golfing, horseback riding and the list goes on. Fall and winter activities include: snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, skiing at Granby Ranch or Winter Park, ice fishing, hunting, sledding, ice skating. And don’t forget about the Grand Lake annual festivals and firework shows!

A perfect getaway!
The property was exactly as portrayed in the photos. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. The decks were perfect for relaxing, even had a mule deer walk by us one day.

Very relaxing and comfortable, highly recommended
My husband and I came to the cabin in early August to celebrate our anniversary. We were looking for a place to relax and get away from the rat race for a few days. We definitely found what we were looking for here. The cabin was nicely furnished and was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook a few meals. There are three wonderful decks, one of them which is screened in. We went into Grand Lake some of the time and stayed in the cabin some of the time. We love Grand Lake, it's a neat, little mountain town. We really enjoyed spending time there. Staying at the cabin was fun, too. It is in a quiet, rural neighborhood. Even though it is only a few minutes from Grand Lake, we never heard any traffic noise from the highway and rarely heard any vehicles in the neighborhood. Before getting to the cabin, I was a little concerned about the daytime heat in Colorado, but we were able to open the windows at night and get cool mountain air throughout the cabin which helped keep the cabin cool the following day. The owner was great, too. She responded very quickly to our questions about where to eat, where to rent a boat for the lake, etc., anything we needed before and during our stay. We had a fabulous stay and highly recommend this cabin. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to the mountains. Thank you!

Great cabin, very clean and kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances and cooking utensils. Our family enjoyed our stay in Grand Lake. Note for larger families- bring extra towels there were only 5 sets not enough for my family of 6.

Heaven on earth!
What a wonderful cabin, very tastefully decorated, extensive decks and seating areas all round the cabin. Lovely fire, comfy beds, everything you could need plus peace and serenity. Definitely a 10/10!

We had a great time staying at the property. The cabin was comfortable and spacious. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we got there which was a nice touch! It was a cold weekend in February and the bathroom areas were a little cold, but nothing a hot shower couldn't fix!

We loved this cute cabin! It was so spacious ane comfortable and easy to get to. We were excited to enjoy the patios but didnt realizw they'd be covered in snow. Next time we will visit in the summer :) The living room ane fireplace was relaxing at the end of the day and the kids loved the bunk bed. Stocked wonderfully with all the basics and extra comforts such as the bathroom heater. We cant wait to stay again!

Fantastic Cabin
We will absolutely return! The cabin's nearby location to RMNP was perfect for our plans. RMNP's western side def has less crowds. When we returned to the cabin after a full day, their well-stocked kitchen has all the necessities and new appliances. Megan gifted us with a bottle of red wine. This cabin is well-maintained and clean; you can comfortably sleep a family with children in their bunk beds and there are two baths. Thank you for a great stay :)

Great VRBO experience
Great communication with Megan. The property is quite, relaxing and well thought out. The large deck was our daytime hangout after long hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park just 5 minutes away. One afternoon a Male moose hung out ate Aspen leaves and napped against the house. 3 hours he stayed. Once in a lifetime experience. Evenings where spent chatting by the gas fire pit on the back deck. Another moose sighting at dusk. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed and bedrooms were comfortable. Thanks so much Megan
