Waterfront Beauty with Lovely Intercoastal Views. 2 Bedroom/2 Baths Plus Trundle

Located directly on the Indian River/Intercoastal Waterway. Gorgeous river views. River access with our own fishing pier. Next to a Community park with pavilion, triple sized charcoal grill, and several other fishing piers (docks). Commune with nature. Serene, quiet and renewing waterfront experience. Set apart. Yet, it’s surprisingly close to restaurants and shopping. Some morning traffic, muffled. There are two patios. One is outside of the Master bedroom. Imagine how lovely to have breakfast or evening cocktails right outside your bedroom sliding glass door. Or wake up to a pretty sunrise. See the birds touching down or dolphins at play.
As cute as the two bedroom house with separate trundle bed area is, the crowning jewels of this property are the location next to the park and our own sprawling waterfront backyard. Between the two you can explore the riverfront for quite an extended distance. Plus, you can play ball, throw frisbees, have a picnic, go fishing, follow the cycling paths, walk on the boardwalks, or launch your own kayaks.

Great location, nice unique rental
Our family of 4 with 2 teen boys really enjoyed a little visit here. Great location to explore the area. We went to downtown Melbourne for St. Pat’s celebration, also explored some nice parks for biking and kayaking in Vero. Enjoyed morning walks in the park Nextdoor, and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the backyard and river. Would stay again.

Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Beautiful property. You can do nothing but recharge your batteries. Or , you can do as much as you want. Great central location for many , many activities . Pelicans visited for breakfast every morning. Had 14 of them one morning , soaring and diving in unison.

A Bit Underwhelming
Beautiful place! More room than we needed and not enought of the supplies we needed. There was hardly any toilet paper when we 1st arrived. One toilet had flushing issues and the kitchen sink was not up-to-par. There was no dishwashing detergent and no garbage bags either! With a limited supply of transportation we found it difficult to relax fully for the 3 days we stayed.The grill worked well and we enjoyed the wildlife scenery for sure!

Needed a Vacation!
We had a wonderful visit with family that live near the home. Did some fishing didn't catch much but it is a relaxing place to stay. The house is clean and well appointed. We love staying here. Diane is a very nice lady.

Anniversary Weekend
The property was as described, although we were not aware it was so close to the highway and were concerned about noise. There was no need for our concern - the owners provided sound machines (which really weren't necessary). The backyard was a wonderful grassy delight leading down to the water and dock. We watched the sunrise each morning - beautiful. We enjoyed the endless pods of dolphins playing in the water. We were looking for a quiet spot to just enjoy the weekend - that is exactly what we got. Thanks so much.

The property is very spacious and well appointed with everything you might need. The road noise is there but did not take away from our enjoying our stay. Had a little trouble with the tv but after talking to Spectrum tech it all worked out. We will rent again and we enjoyed our visit.

Perfect home away from home
The place was perfectly clean when we arrived, everything we needed was provided! Beautiful views! Amazing atmosphere! Owner was very attentive to our needs, although there really wasn’t any need on our part ! The backyard view is absolutely amazing for the sunrise! We will definitely be returning! Not the same
Second time staying here. First time arrival was perfect, this time when we arrived there was half done laundry in washing machine, no toilet paper, very few bath towels(maybe 3) and one out of 4 beds had sheets on it. Had to go to store immediately an buy laundry soap and TP. Called host she brought towels. About 1/2 hour before we arrived host called to tell us that there were some holes in bedroom floor, but they had been covered with plywood. This is a very nice location with lots to see and do, but the house definitely needs some work done on it. Hopefully the work can get done because, if so I would stay here again.

PEACEFUL RETREAT
Waterfront cottage was just as advertised. Loved the park next door. Watched dolphins everyday. Saw 3 space launches from the dock. Quiet, safe location yet easy access to stores and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very accomodating. Will definitely stay again!

You get what you pay for .. or less
We selected this place because of the Indian river frontage. We got that and enjoyed the birds and dolphins. But, first impressions are important. The entry door was very dirty. The inside door handle fell off when we tried to close the entry door as we came in. There appears to be a general lack of inspection and maintenance. Second impressions are also important. The place stinked. We tried airing it out a bit without much luck. Seems to be coming from the water or drains. [Are the well and septic less than 50ft apart?] Speaking of water: the kitchen faucet and the smaller bath faucet just dribble. The shower in the larger bedroom is similar, but that sink has the best flow in the house. Also, strangely, there aren’t any towel bars in the baths. I’d really like to have at least one of the TVs have a cable box so really real time network TV was available. Roku doesn’t make it for me. Plan on eating out or using takeout. The pots and pans have seen their better days.

Dolphins, birds and more
Beautiful property that didn't disappoint. We saw dolphins several times throughout the week, along with great up-close looks at wood storks, ospreys, shorebirds and several species of herons. Spacious, nicely decorated home. Diane was quick to respond to any questions. We didn't find the highway noise to be much of an issue at all. We would definitely stay again!

My mom was in the hospital nearby and we wanted to celebrate Christmas with her. We were unable to get a dog sitter so this house was perfect. Big yard with a dock where we watched a SpaceX launch. Comfy beds and a roomy kitchen. We watched a few Disney movies on Disney plus. Great family time.

Thanksgiving Trip
Quick Thanksgiving trip to visit with family in the area. Had a great trip, was much warmer than staying in Ohio. Family time at the property was good, plenty of things to do. Caught some fish from the dock, watched dolphin, played in the yard and park next door. 2nd visit to this property went just as well as the first one. Any issues don't hesitate to reach out to the owner, she is very responsive. Thanks again Diane.
